After explaining the general rundown of his plan to his fellow comrades he would rush to the building and make eye contact with the guards. Making his way to the meeting room he would begin to discuss the deal and stall giving Gonk enough time to sneak around and engage. After the swift defeat of both guards and the lord himself, Niko would pull 100 ryo and place it on the counter.

"For your troubles" Picking up some classified papers laying on the lord's desk he would slide them into his pocket before following his leader out of the room and towards the boat to make a hasty escape. Upon reaching the boat Niko would rest and sleep and upon waking he would realize that they had just arrived at Kiri so he would say goodbye to his teammates.

"Saya, we should spar again I have picked up several new techniques you may appreciate. Dana let's do another mission together sometime. Gonk it was a pleasure meeting you we should train together I'm sure that I could learn more from you in the future." After saying good bye Niko would head home to rest for the end of the day.

"The guards at the back door shouldn't be a problem." In time with her comment, the chest cavity of the Coach puppet would again start to grumble and groan. Thankfully the solution to the whole 'secret guards hidden in the puppet' problem was simple. There was a clicking of metal and the muffled sound of fireworks going off inside the puppet and quiet fell on the group once again.

Saya made it a point to follow their group leader. While she ended up 'following' from in front several times in their treck to the back of the mansion, she did recognize and fall back into line fairly quickly. When they reached the back gate it was suspiciously empty. THe dirt was scuffed from what looked to be an altercation, but the only other signs of life was a small pamphlet for an upcoming perfomance by the 'cosplay queen of kirikagure'. She picked that up fairly quickly and stowed it back in her bag.

"No one's home... Totally wierd and not planned. " Her tone made it very evident that this was not wierd, and was planned, the monotone statment so obviously out of the norm for the vibrant girl that it was almost cringe worthy. THe path through the back halls and down to where they needed was also empty, save several more pamphlets which Saya popped into her bag as they passed, and Gonk was set up to take care of whatever he might need!

After gonk finished whatever method he might deem appropriate to obtain the crown Saya would follow excitedly back to the boat. This was the best part. Just before heading across the water to where they'd docked the coach puppet would pour six unconscious guards from the emergency hatch at his back onto the sandy beach. He shrugged to the team, pulling a sign from the bag on his back that said 'better not to ask. they're fine', before checking with his puppeteer to confirm they were ready to go.

"Great job team!!! mappo tofu on me!!! And def Niko. Lemme know when and we can do some stuff. I don't think i've showed you all the cool stuff my new puppet can do yet!" With that they were off, back to the boat, and back to helping single handedly give the crew a break as they sailed home.

Dana followed along with Gonk and Saya, performing the infiltration as needed and very successfully. Unfortunately, she was very tired so Dana had entered what she liked to call "auto-pilot mode" where she was present, but not really. After they got the crown, the group all headed back where they found that the best monkey on the planet - who was still wearing her pirate hat! Yay! - had managed to secure their passage back to the mainland. She gave him a hand to let him onto her shoulder and took back her hat whilst she did so; as adorable as he was in her hat, it was a gift that Dana didn't have any desire to part ways from. The hardest choices require the strongest wills and all that.

The boat ride back to the mainland was pretty uneventful. Dana, once again, climbed up to the crow's nest and just drew in her sketchbook the entire time. Eventually, they made it back to the Village and Niko said his goodbyes, "Of course! Ye can come and find me when ye need any help with anything." She grinned at Niko's goodbyes and then was off to go do her own thing. She very strongly debated taking Momo with her but she felt that he and Gonk wouldn't like that so she ended up giving Momo back to Gonk, assuming the jonin was with them at this point.

The group encountered no problems on the boat ride back to the village, the waters remaining calm the entire time. Once they were well on their way towards Kirigakure, Gonk pulled the crown out of his storage displacement to investigate it. The crown itself was gold in color, with jewels of blue and green embedded in the medal. It was a rather simple affair, but Gonk found it fitting. Aside from their anatomy, the Hoshigaki clan wasn’t exactly known for being extravagant.

To be completely honest, Gonk wasn’t exactly sure what he was going to do with the crown yet, but he did know that he wouldn’t let it fall into the hands of his grandfather. Until he was able to rightfully wear it, or he thought of something else to do with it, Gonk decided to keep it in his storage displacement where it would be safe. So after a few hand seals, the crown was once again gone.

All in all, the mission had been successful, and Gonk had met some interesting new characters. It felt like just yesterday when Gonk himself was just a genin, going on all kinds of fun missions with his friends. But only a year later, it was a whole new generation of genin who would be the future of the village.

When the boat reached the Kirigakure docks, Gonk retrieved his monkey from Dana, and bid his farewells to the team, before heading towards the administrative building where he could turn in his mission report before heading home to get some rest.
