As she dove into the ground, the white flames would spread over and into the swamp area. Tsubaki hadn't dive deep enough into the ground to be able to avoid the flames and heat boiling the swamp around her. Her skin would start to melt and she would screech in agony as bringing her alive was not a pleasant feeling. The worst part was that due to her curse mark, she wouldn't be able to move for a moment. The heat wouldn't allow her to cry tears, just screams.
She felt her life flash before her eyes for a moment there was momentary numbness for her to feel nothing. Was this how she was going to die? boiling in a swamp? She wondered how the village would honor her in her death. Would her genin that she helped train mourn her? Will Geb be okay on his own without her? Would it matter? She was going to die...
Or was she. She noticed that it wasn't over for her. She still had a chance. She was able to control her curse mark again and have it retreat back into her mark, giving her the ability to move again. Then she would weave Tiger-Horse-Monkey-Dragon-Boar-Horse and cover herself with a thick gel that would both protect her from the heat and also start to heal the burns she sustained (power, speed, health 105/have to remain in the gel for two posts to heal burns completely).
The swamp was no longer active, leaving nothing but a crusted over crater being caused by the flames. The earth and rubble and flames would cover the gel casting Tsubaki had put herself in. This would cause the ghost to not be able to see Tsubaki to the naked eye.

Now wheeeere is sheeeeee...
The ghost releases the handseal she had been holding to maintain her fire technique, looking dispassionately over the crater revealed by the fire fading. She steps forwards, extending her senses around her, until she reaches the 10m mark from Tsubaki and senses her chakra in the center of the crater, hidden by debris. There.
With the same jerky motions as before, her hands form the seals Tiger, Boar, Rat, Ram, Ox, and Boar. She spits a tiny ball of compressed air - an amplified Wind Pressure Damage with 90 Speed and 110 Power - directly towards the center of the crater, directly above where Tsubaki is hidden. The ghost will cause the sphere to detonate mere centimeters from the edge of the Healing Gel Cast positioned just under the crusted-over floor of the crater. Upon being detonated, the technique will form a whirling sphere of cutting wind within a 7.5m radius.
Due to being covered in rubble and encased in her technique, Tsubaki has no way to see (or likely hear) the technique coming, and may not be able to react until it reaches the 5m mark encompassed by her Chakra Sensory unless she has another way of detecting it. In addition, she is trapped underground, and will have to dig herself out to even begin to evade.

Inside the healing gel, Tsubaki could still feel some of the heat on the cast she made as the Ghost had pressed her flames onto it. So when the figure stopped shooting the stream of fire, the heat drastically dropped. Unfortunately, Tsubaki couldn't know for sure as the cast stopped her from seeing anything. To counter this, Tsubaki would start to weave Snake, Rat, Ox, Tiger as soon as the difference in temperature happened. This would sprout hundreds of trees 20 meters around Tsubaki's location (55 speed/health). The figure would be right on the edge of this spontaneous forest.
She wasn't done yet. As soon as she was finished with the hand seals of Nativity of a Sea of Tree, she would weave Tiger-Dog- Snake -Dragon-Boar. This would summon two clones 15 meters away in the direction of where the ghost had shot her flames from the trees she had just created (speed 65). The clones would be spaced apart by 10 meters.
The two clones would be able to see the figure 5 meters away, one of the clones would be on her left, and the other on her right. Clone 1, the one on the figure's right, would start weaving Monkey - Ox - Snake - Ram - Tiger -Dog to create a blue aura shield around her (95 speed, strength). Then weave hand signs directly afterward Tiger-Horse-Rabbit- Rat- Dog for Chakra Scalpel.
At the same time, Clone 2 (on the figure's left side) would weave Tiger, Dragon, Rabbit, Monkey, Ram, Snake (holding the last hand sign while manipulating the trees) for Nativity of a World of Trees (80 speed/power). This would cause roots from the trees next to the clone (5 meters away from the Ghost) and 5 meters behind the ghost figure to snap out of the ground, forming sharp tendrils.
If contact is made, these tendrils would wrap around each of the Ghostly figure's limbs and the end of each root stabbing into the hands and feet of the figure to stop their moment whilst also holding all their limbs away from each other. This would make the figure exposed and their limbs unable to cooperate with each other. This would also sap the figure's chakra by 50 ap. Should the tendrils be successful, the first clone would approach the figure with the chakra scalpel aimed at their throat.
"You picked the wrong person to mess with. Who are you? Who do you work for?" The clone would say attempting to intimidate the vulnerable figure while being crucified by the second clone's jutsu. This figure wasn't going to be getting away without giving away some answers.
All this information would be relayed back telepathically to Tsubaki from her clones, who was finishing off her healing ritual inside the gem.

The ghost strides forward with single-minded purpose, weaving forward through the created forest with murder in her sunken eyes. She senses the emergence of the clones, but pays them little mind, seeking the original - though she only acts to cast her technique once she reaches the ten meter range, she can detect Tsubaki from twenty meters, after all.
The clones spawned in five meters from the ghost, on either side. While they form their handseals, the ghost is still moving towards the center of the crater, placing her more than five meters from them. The manipulation range for Nativity of a Sea of Trees is ten meters in diameter - so, a five meter radius. The ghost is outside of that range, and the clone does not move, so it cannot move its branches close enough to threaten it as it moves to its ten-meter point from Tsubaki and unleashes its Wind technique as previously described.
The wind screams, Wind Pressure Damage crashing through the healing gel and earth and dealing 110 damage, more than enough to reduce Tsubaki to 0...
...and Tsubaki wakes up with a knife through her heart. The last thing she sees before losing consciousness the bright red triangle painted above her couch.

OOC: Nativity Sea of Trees is actually 20 meters in radius. What Murata is referring to is Nativity of a World of Trees, which the clone uses. Also, the Ghost is 20 meters from where Tsubaki is, putting her at the edge of the forest when the clones were summoned right afterward 15 meters away from Tsubaki (putting the clones' distance 5 meters from the Ghost as I said in my post). Therefore, I interrupted her movement and casting of the wind-style release. Due to this, I will claim a hit on the ghost.
The Ghostly figure stood no match to the power of a Senju. Clone 2s' wood-style attack coiled around the figure's arms and stabbed into their hands and feet. It was pretty brutal for Tsubaki's taste but after all, she went through tonight getting almost boiled alive that bitch earned it.
The figure wasn't too keen on answering her questions, so Clone 1 would cut the tendons of all the figures' limbs. Tsubaki finished her healing ritual inside the gel and came over to the ghostly figure as they were strung up like Halloween decorations. She looked at the dead eyes of the ghostly figure. Normally Tsubaki would feel some mercy towards her opponents and spare them for negotiation. But this time, she didn't feel like giving this one the same kindness. "I think you deserve some rest after the long night you've had." She would hold the snake hand seal and crush the figure with the roots.
She woke with a snap from her couch and a quick inhale. On her living room floor was the Jashinist laying on the ground defeated. "What the hell kind of dream was that?!" This would awake Geb, who was sleeping outside the house, and would walk in to see Tsubaki in a panicked state. "Okay?" Geb would ask in a low splintered voice. He was concerned for his creator's safety. "Y-yeah, sweety. I'm okay. Let's go turn this body into the collection office. They might know a thing or two about them." Geb would pick up the body and they would both head out. All Tsubaki was left with was confusion.

Calling a battlemod to contest on the point that Tsubaki's narration stated that she was manipulating existing trees, rather than spawning new constructs. Due to the clones being placed directly to either side of the ghost due to vague manip, any point in the ghost's path forward would be outside of their manipulation range.

Well hey howdy everyone, time for the latest edition of 'who fucked up' with me, your host, Kenshin. And hoooo boy, this one is a mess. Now, I'll be splitting this into sections that explain what has happened and why this has happened. So, without further ado, let's get into this.
Positioning and Timing
Now, this is one of the most important things to note in this situation. Tsubaki is 20m from the Ghost, Clone 1 and 2 spawn 15 from Tsubaki... but you see, they were specifically noted to spawn to the left and right of the Ghost by Tsubaki herself. "The two clones would be able to see the figure 5 meters away, one of the clones would be on her left, and the other on her right.'. Now what this means is, seeing as the Ghost has already been noted to simply be moving forwards, Ghost would be 15m from Tsubaki by this point. You can argue all the semantics you want here, but based on the actions of the Ghost and how the post was written, the NPC was allowed to walk 5m into the created forest by the time the clones had spawned.
Stabby Trees
Now, the main point of contention here is the actions of the clone that moves to use Nativity of a World of trees... and you see... there are 2 major problems that one needs to take note of here. The manipulation aspect of Nativity has a range of 10m in diameter around the uer... that's 5m in radius... and already I am sure you can see the issue when you take note of the position of the clone from the position of the Ghost. For those of you that can't see the issue... the Ghost is 5m from the clone, and as such, even a single step puts it out of range of the technique. The clone itself never moved an inch from its spawn position, and the Ghost simply continued to walk forward.
Now, even if we don't take that into account, there is another big issue that makes the hit Tsubaki claimed impossible... Tsubaki herself noted the following 'At the same time, Clone 2 (on the figure's left side) would weave Tiger, Dragon, Rabbit, Monkey, Ram, Snake (holding the last hand sign while manipulating the trees) for Nativity of a World of Trees (80 speed/power). This would cause roots from the trees next to the clone (5 meters away from the Ghost) and 5 meters behind the ghost figure to snap out of the ground, forming sharp tendrils.' The trees next to the clone, 5m from the Ghost... with the 5m manipulation range of Nativity, and the position of the clone 5m from Ghost in the first place... yeah, literally cannot hit if the Ghost takes even a single step. The same applies to the trees 5m behind the Ghost (which, for the record, are already outside of the manipulation range of Tsubaki's clone in the first place).
In Conclusion
Nothing Tsubaki did in their post would have stopped the actions of the Ghost, and thus the confirmation of the hit is confirmed. Tsubaki has been reduced to 0 HP and as per the post of the NPC, is dead.
And with that, we have come to the end of the latest episode of 'who fucked up' with me, your host, Kenshin. Peace out all, and I'll see you in the end one

Calling for second mod ruling. Kenshin refuses to listen to me.
Notes on Kenshin's ruling
Positioning: At the start of Ghost's movements, they are 25 meters from Tsubaki "the ghost will move to maintain her relative position 25m to her left before launching the technique as above. In either case, she watches out for new techniques from the woman, ready to react appropriately." This puts the Ghost 25 meters during the launching of her fire attack. This means she ended the technique 25 meters away, which is where my response begins-
"Tsubaki could still feel some of the heat on the cast she made as the Ghost had pressed her flames onto it. So when the figure stopped shooting the stream of fire, the heat drastically dropped... Tsubaki could still feel some of the heat on the cast she made as the Ghost had pressed her flames onto it. So when the figure stopped shooting the stream of fire, the heat drastically dropped."
Now I accounted for their movement while Tsu was weaving, hence why she was 20 meters from Tsu by the time the trees were up. Clones were placed 15 meters in the direction of the ghost. "This would summon two clones 15 meters away in the direction of where the ghost had shot her flames from the trees she had just created (speed 65). "
Now I'm no mathematician, but a believe 20 meters and 15 meters are not equidistant. 20 doesn't equal 15. So if we say that the ghost was still moving, then that would still be within a 5-meter range as the ghost would be, in fact, getting closer to the clones. Wow, math is super fun.
Josie's vauging would imply that their placement on her right and left side would be equidistant, as that would be the only way Kenshin's ruling would make sense.
"Ghost would be 15m from Tsubaki by this point. You can argue all the semantics you want here, but based on the actions of the Ghost and how the post was written, the NPC was allowed to walk 5m into the created forest by the time the clones had spawned."
You're telling me, with a speed of 65 they were able to move 5 meters before the clone with a weaving speed of 50 would finish their hand sign? That's only a 15-speed difference. And that just performing hand seals which are mere centimeters apart compared to someone traveling 5 meters.
SIDE NOTE:
Do you think vauging is respectable? You make no rule against it, but you call it in the rules "Looked down upon". You wonder why a lot of people don't like the mods of NRPG. This entire process has been terrible. Kenshin's uncalled for and just unnecessary comments and the lack of trying to come to an understanding. I thought after the multiple members calling out the mods onsite, they would at least try a little harder.

Alright, second opinion and battle mod here. I won't waste everyone's time so let's get to it:
Kenshin has already covered quite a bit, and unfortunately for Tsu, I have to agree. Allow me to explain:
As written and specified by Tsubaki: "Clone 2 (on the figure's left side) would weave Tiger, Dragon, Rabbit, Monkey, Ram, Snake", pair this together with the 100 AP cost that was paid and the power scaling used for the technique it is clear that Clone 2 attempted to use the S-Rank version of Nativity of a World of Trees. However, as written in the Wood Clone app: "The clones can use all jutsu the user knows of A-rank and below."
So as you can see, Clone 2 would not be able to use the S-Rank version, and therefore it could be ruled that this action would not go through to begin with. But because I think this might be too harsh, we'll go with the A-Rank version instead. However, that would mean the power and speed of Nativity of a World of Trees would be 65 .. that's right, the same speed the ghost possesses.
Considering how things were written, Tsubaki might have intended it differently. However, we still go by what is written. It would now be even more impossible for the ghost to be stopped and its actions to be avoided considering the 5m manipulation range of the technique and taking the speed of both the technique and spirit into account.
So yes, unfortunately because of all the information present my ruling will also be in favor of the NPCs victory.

(Thank you, Josie, Ichigo, and Kenshin for your time on this hunter)
Tsubaki would suddenly wake from her trance after losing the battle to that strange ghost. It wasn't a nightmare though... She would find a knife dug into her chest and a red triangle drawn on the ceiling. There was no adrenaline rush even with a knife in her chest. Instead, a wave of peace waved over Tsubaki. She had fought hard in her dream, and now it was time to sleep the eternal sleep.
Geb would awake from outside after hearing some commotion going on inside the house. He had been spending his nights outside next to Tsubaki's garden. It was comforting to be with living things that looked like him. His creator had wanted him to spend more time in the village to get used to human life and also learn more things from teachers. He remembered that how excited she was to hear that someone would be willing to give him personal lessons on reading and writing. The giant would bend over to get into the doorway. Upon seeing Tsubaki's gruesome scene, he froze... "M-Mom?" Even with Geb's deep growling voice, his voice was weak and trembled. His instincts kicked in and he grabbed his mother, caring for her in his. Tsubaki's body dangled like a doll, going limp in Geb's arms. In a moment of panic, Geb rushed out of the house weeping. Normally he was more cautious when in the village, but he was in a different state of mind. What do I do? What do I do? What do I do, Mom?! Geb thought urgently. He felt lost and scared. "Help!" Geb would muster loudly into the village.
