The End of it All (Village Destruction)

The siege had begun and all the pieces were in place. Within the distance he could see the chakra signatures preparing for defense which made this all the better. He was tired of waiting for something to happen, though when the giant construct stopped on Kizmaru's orders, Ibari took this as an opportunity to use some of his more defensive techniques. As the construct stopped, Ibari would hold his hands in the form of the seal of confrontation, extending his senses a full 50 meters from their current position and begin. If there were to be any issues he would see them before they had arrived and impede them accordingly. From his extended senses he could see a signature coming toward them at a decent pace, but by the time he had finished whistling he would be the second to launch an attack. Within seconds his body would begin to flood with an overabundance of chakra as the veins in his body bulged outward and black markings began to form under his eyes. Exhaling he would create a stream of fire 6 inches wide that would form into a fireball 10 meters in diameter that would be flying toward Fu at an incredible speed. Though it was faster than her by a margin it would be in her current flight path as soon as she would begin to get to the 50 meter mark, aiming to incinerate her or at best prove to be a pesky deterrent. Depending on how she dealt with it, Ibari would continue his action. If she tried to stop it or better yet divert her flight path, he would cause the fireball to explode catching her within the 50 meter radius of the blast. However, on the off chance that she managed to get past it he had no doubt his compatriots would follow up with another attack to knock her out of the sky.

Keita was observing the battlefield at the moment, when suddenly the construct stopped, and there were multiple people heading towards it. The only reason that Keita even noticed that there were multiple people coming towards it was because he was previously on the lookout for signs of an invisible assailant, and so he was looking around. He had seen the fairly petite woman heading towards their construct, but he had confidence in his team to stop her before she did any serious damage to the construct, as Keita was far more focused on the strange sight that he had seen on the soil coming towards them. There was a set of footprints coming towards them at high speed, it was faint but it was still there, and it was fairly jarring on the ground when everything else was simply slightly packed soil covered in a light smattering of sand. The person was clearly invisible, and Keita might have missed this if he was not specifically looking for these types of things after experiencing it for himself. The man sprinting towards them was obviously putting his full weight on his legs to sprint, and Keita thought of something. The man was probably keeping an eye on them, but because of Keita’s face mask, he most likely did not know that Keita was even glancing towards him, as Keita’s head was still aimed forwards.

Keita knew that because they had a Hyuuga on their team, they would also notice it for sure as well, and seeing as how his team was reacting well to the outside stimuli and reacting accordingly, Keita simply thought he needed to do nothing and simply continued collecting his natural energy. This would serve him well when the initial long range warfare was out of the way and they got down to the real slugfest that was a close ranged battle.

The white eye, also known as the all seeing eye of the Hyuuga clan. Possessed no visual effects pupils while active. They become more distinct and the veins near the Hyuuga’s temple bulge. Granting the wielder of the eye 360 degree vision. Capable of seeing the chakra pathways, an ability that the Byakugan shares with the Sharingan, however, the level at which they see it very different. While the Sharingan can see the chakra pathway, it can only do so at a basic level. The Byakugan, on the other hand, can see the smallest of details within the pathway, giving a better understanding of the chakra that is inside the body of the other person. Users of the Sharingan are bestowed the ability to cast Genjutsu, an ability that the Byakugan had no talent in. However, the Byakugan can see the Tenketsu, widely known as the chakra points. It can see in an infrared to detect body heat, as well as see living beings chakra lines. Essentially granting the host night vision effects in complete darkness. 

Stationed on the head of the avatar, within the vicinity of Keita and Kizmaru, he would take note of something, something that was there all along. Resistance of Hoshi arrived at the gate, which negated him from deactivating his mile range ability. Noticing each of them as they popped up, scanning left to right. The prince of Suna would sigh as he watched them prepare, as he watched them rally their men. He even noticed as one of them charged towards them, flying. She was an impatient sort, wasn’t she? But during her travel Ibari responded with a welcome of his own kind. This would most certainly deter her advance in some way or another, should. Souji couldn’t help but notice the odd coloring of her chakra as she took flight. He would then scan his eyes towards another, this one seemed to have vanished completely, however because of how close to detail the Byakugan paid - Souji noticed the footprints and the kicking up of dust, or debris.  He was confident that he would noticed the most subtle of kicking up debris, giving the area. 

“Theres a sensory among their ranks, pretty good one. Lost track of him and his chakra, but I can see his trail. He’s heading towards us most likely. One hundred-ten meters to our left.” He relayed the message swift and clearly. 

It was in the parties best interest for him to play the role of the lookout, seeing as he’s the only Byakugan wielder on their side he would prove more useful to them to scan and relay info. As they were most likely using Ayato for the same. It was smart, tactical. Souji smiled as he noticed his cousin gazing over to them. “Ayato is at the gates. Along with three others. One seem to be meditating, gathering natural chakra from what I can see. Same as you, Keita. So in total it’s six of them.” He would say, his eye tracking them all, even to the footprints. He wasn’t a far point out, Souji could see natural chakra being flowed because of his mastery of it. One of his eyes were replaced with a flame of natural chakra. But also, he could see who’s body naturally gathered it with a mere glance of his Byakugan. 

His next moves would be in accordance to what happens next. He was prepared.

Fu, the kunoichi who stood between Ayato and Dusk, made a bold proclamation, thick with the accents of the distant land of Takigakure. She felt a sacred calling towards destroying the opposition's Giant. "The girl is eager to show us her capabilities. Either that or she has a deep distaste of oaken furniture." The blue-haired Nova watched the kunoichi now covered in a rainbow cloak of cloak ascend.

"We do not let our people bleed in the field, watch her back, Dusk." Ayato's command cut through the air sharp as a kunai. The Nova prioritized a defensive mindset over offensive thinking in the Kage's presence. However, with Akabayashi here, Ayato had a decent defensive line. And even if Fu claimed the all-terrain vehicle she had started to fly towards as her prey, someone had to do something about the four magical ninjas on top of it. It might as well be Dusk. 

"In the meantime, I might steal a page from the invader's book and gather nature chakra, not that my cousin among them ever bothered reading any." Ayato would take on a Qigong meditation stance to gather natural energy. To do this, he stood tall with his feet shoulder-width apart. Shift his feet so that his heels turn slightly inward and his toes are pointing slightly away from each other. Once in position, he slightly bent his knees, allowing his body to root down through his feet with each exhale.

The Nova activated the power bestowed to him by the Hoshigakure Archives, a thin veil of purple surrounding him. The kind of power that pushed his vigor and chakra to greater levels. Dusk then walked out the protocol and cast the handseals for B-rank Ninjutsu Amplifier. He then continued doing those for the Kanzeon Lotus King. The secret technique of the Senju Clan. He did not share their last name, but he shared their blood. 

The world rumbled as the Giant awakened from the hard-packed ground underneath. The Nova stood still atop the head of the amplified Kanzeon King. When the wooden construct had fully emerged, for everyone to see, it had a darker color than that of Kizmaru. The Golem kept a stance with the left arm hanging near the waist while drawing the right arm close to the chest area with a closed fist under its chin. The low position of the left arm will allow it to execute jabs faster if it comes to close quarters. Ninety-eight of them positioned behind it like a wooden Halo, the exact number of components.

From atop the head of the 50-meter construct, Dusk had a clear view of the battlefield, facing towards the opposition 95 meters away. Dusk could see Fu to his right advancing and them preparing their counter. Even further right is the position of another of Hoshi's defenders. Despite the hardness of solid Earth, the light coating of sand suggested someone under the effect of some invisibility technique attempting to intercept the opposing giant. 

Dusk figured he shouldn't advance to avoid colliding with his allies. Kanzeon Lotus King was equipped with the means to reach the invaders at the base of the hill. The attack could travel closer than Dusk would have liked to Fu, who flew at an altitude of 40 meters from the ground. The lower end of that attack would still be multiple meters above her.

Four smaller heads surrounded the forehead of Kanzeon's like a crown. Dusk raised his arm, and the mouths opened to fire three energy blasts, each carrying a different elemental nature that the Nova knew. Each beam started as a thin stream that quickly expanded 5 meters in radius, shaped like a cylinder, and avoided colliding with one another, angled towards the head of the rival golem in an attempt to cleave through its upper part and damage its riders.

After the battle lines were drawn it was easy to see who was doing what, at least from his viewpoint.  He was nearly in danger because of the golem and how its position would affect the village gates, however he was ill prepared for a golem to appear to his left, and upon closer inspection it was a golem similar to the one they now faced except there was now holes in the ground or any lost area.  It was formed 5 meters away from the shinobi he called his brother, Ayato and the distance observed with his keen eyes showed this was 95 meters from his current position atop the village gates.  He knew that this could only be the work of Dusk as the golem engaged in battle hastily firing off its own beams upward towards the position of the attackers and their golem.  He continued to meditate with caution as he knew that this could turn deadly at any moment and was preparing himself in case something happened.  The men at the gates looked nervous and some had even fled and others looked ill prepared to fight.  “HOLD THE LINE!  IF ANY COME HERE WE WILL TIE UP THEIR FEET SO THAT OUR COMPATRIOTS CAN DO THEIR JOB!”  Yamato commanded with an iron will as he knew that leaving the station now was akin to suicide as he did not quite have the firepower to deal with anything at a range…his power came from getting into the mud with everyone else.  In light of any attacks that may be immediately heading for the gates and his position he would be ready to defend or dodge as a reaction. For now he would continue to build power and breathe slowly and keep his eyes peeled.

Well at least the giant Dusk created was stopping the mass of arms that the Mizukage was sending toward them if they could go that far anyway. Its giant figure extending fbeyond Akabayashi's form, not covering him but the mass would likely hit the golem then lose all momentum. With at least two people ahead of the pack, one flying, aim would be difficult. The person on the ground gave tiny indications of their presence like footprints of where they were. Usually, something such as this would bother the Terumi however it seems the person whoever it was had moved between the group. Had it been an enemy surely the ambush would have begun. Perhaps it was time to move to get better angles on their opponents and help out the flyer who had rushed in only to be met with their technique of black flames to be copied. 

The Vulture didn't ponder for long and chose what course was best to take. With Dusk's Lotus King and many people on the enemies team gathering Nature energy there was an obvious choice. Continue gathering natural energy and meditate once fully charged the battle would truly commence for Akabayashi and his masked beasts.

The wolf would find himself at a loss for what to do. The giant halted its descent, meaning the wolf would no longer be on the path to intercept it during its charge. He would still use this time to approach, though using caution. The situation was less pressing, as the invaders seemed to halt their advance to react to the defense team. The giants position on the cliffside meant that the wolf held no plans to climb up to the invading party. He couldn't know that he was being watched for certain, though it wouldn't take long for him to notice the battlefield conditions that he had missed upon letting his haste and call to action get the better of him. A light dusting of sand seemed to coat the ground, which meant that an observant enemy very well could have noticed the displacement. Still, the wolf wasn't certain that the enemy was on to him yet and would simply continue his efforts to cloak himself. 

The rumbling of the earth and sprouting of another massive giant would cause various changes to the sand formations on the earth, leading to many pockets and places that didn't hold any sand to be displaced. A quick sniff of the air suggested that there weren't any unpleasant counter-operatives doing something similar to himself (or at least he had hoped that to be the case). Still, this sprouting second giant offered the potential for his movements to be hidden once more, even if he wasn't sure they were spotted to begin with. Taking caution into mind, the wolf would use the pockets to his advantage to close some distance. The winds were calm at the moment it would seem, and the wolf would make his way towards the position he originally planned to intercept (50 meters between the bubble and the atttacking giants front-most point), stopping 40 meters from his initial position to determine what he could. The path was a straight one, though he still kept conscious of the attacks flying all the battlefield.

Perhaps it was best to simply bide his time?

Fu’s initial action to start the battle by consuming the wooden golem in black flames had been impeded by one of the assailants who rode atop of the beast she aimed to destroy. As she traveled her intended route towards the 50M distance from the golem, one of the assailants would produce a jutsu that Fu herself was very familiar with and found of. Analyzing the jutsu and its intended path with her sharingan, Fu would decide to activate one of her pre-placed absorption seals and no longer suspend herself in the air 50M from the golem, but instead, would pause at a distance of 55M away and once the fireball would come within a range of 10M, she would target the oncoming attack and absorb from it 50 power, rendering the attack useless against her ultimate defense and greatly diminishing its power in the case the attack went onwards towards the village. Instead of charging forward through the fireball, Fu would decide to circle back to her comrades to update them on what she had seen, not fully convinced she could take on the 4 assailants and the golem alone.
 
Fu now turned and began to fly back towards the village protocol, descending from the 40M to 30M. As she flew, one of her comrades would erect their own giant wooden golem and shoot off 3 strange blasts of elemental energy which traveled above her, out of range of hitting her, and towards the golem’s heads.
 
Fu entered the protocol once more and landed onto the ground in the position she had been at the start of the battle, next to Ayato.
 
“I apologize lord Hogokage, but my intended attack had been interrupted before I had a chance to launch it. From what I could see, there appeared to be 4 assailants riding a top of the golem.”

As the flying individual had come within range of his ally, Ibari. Ibari had taken action in an attempt to fire a large, fire technique at the flying woman. Since he was dealing with that, Kizmaru figured he didn't have to worry too much about them as he proceeded to turn his attention elsewhere. The technique his ally had used in general, he figured that was a pretty good technique to have for this fight so he decided he would copy it shortly after seeing the six inch flames emerging from his ally's person. Kizmaru would follow up by simultaneously activating soul expulsion by weaving the hand signs of Hare, Monkey, Dragon and whistling a lot pitches to activate two techniques, one amplifying his next ninjutsu technique used and the other mimicking the pitches his ally had used for his fire technique. He would also exhale creating a stream of fire six inches wide that would form into a fireball, ten meters in diameter that would be flying toward his intended target at a similar speed, infused with nature energy to follow up behind that of his ally's in an attempt to maximize the amount of damage he could potentially do. The first Blazeball had hit its mark, seemingly doing nothing to his opponent.

Kizmaru however could see the chakra with his Sharingan, noticing the flying individual had used a technique he was very familiar with in order to weaken the fireball known as seal of absorption. With that seal gone, maybe he would have better luck with his own attack. Hopefully, the second Blazeball he had casted would be more effective as it soared through the air towards his target's descent destination as they had begun their descent after they waited for the first one to collide into them. Kizmaru had some concerns about being caught by his own technique so he figured he'd continue his descent down the mountain by having his wooden avatar continue its descent down the plateau's cliffs at its jutsu speed. Once he had started his descent, Kizmaru could hear a loud rumbling as a wooden construct similar to his own was conjured only slightly darker than his. The construct then fired three elemental beams towards the head of his creation. Kizmaru simply continued to descend to the bottom of the mountain as the beams safely traveled over him and the head's of his allies since it seems the intended target was his construct's head. 

All the beams managed to do was destroy the upper part of the plateau, his construct was sliding down causing rocks to fall. Kizmaru simply maneuvered ten of his arms to curl around their heads five meters apart from them in order to shield them from the falling debris. He was sure how strong the wooden avatar they had conjured was but he decided he would figure it out when he made contact with it. Kizmaru had taken into account all of the information his unlikely Hyuuga ally had given him. There seemed to be more opposition that was moving towards them that he could not detect with his dojutsu. He had fought a similar foe like this but apparently, the technique used did not compare as it was still detected by his ally. Lastly, he'd begin to convert some of his own chakra into the furnace on his back in order to use the benefits of his armor. He would keep that in mind as made it to the bottom of the mountain with his wooden avatar, plotting his next course of action.

The pesky deterrent was dealt with in a way that he was hoping quite frankly as it would have been boring to see such a bold fighter fried by a giant fireball. None the less he didn't fret as he smiled and began to whistle once more, six times in fact. Watching as the fight had begun to evolve into just that, both sides throwing out attacks instead of one, Ibari felt it was a good idea to keep their little flying mouse in the area instead of letting her go. As his partner released the same technique he had just finished using on Fu, Ibari would let out another six inch stream of fire that would break off into five fireballs 10 meters in diameter that would be aimed down at an angle of 5 meters, assuring that it would not hit their mode of transportation but also not collide with the Great Blazeball that Kizmaru had just released. The fireballs conjured by the Shinobi would travel downward and "curve" themselves in a way that would block Fu's flight path making it to where she could only go up..or straight. With one escape path closed off, this would allow the former Mizukage's attack to hopefully cut her off and knock her out of the sky. With their golem moving down, Ibari would move from the current head he had been on to the one with the rest, standing right behind Souji. With his Byakugan, Ibari had no need to keep up his Mind's eye technique and would release it. Upon doing so he would place a hand onto Souji's shoulder," I hope you don't mind me siphoning some of your nature energy," he'd smile and begin to take the Nature Energy he had already begun to store as his own, for now paying attention to the battle at hand to see what would happen next. Overhead the weather would begin to change as dark clouds rolled in accompanied by crashing thunder and soon...water from the heavens raining down upon the battlefield. Did anyone call for rain?
