Ise had made his way to Hoshigakure’s outskirts, about to start yet another mission. Today so far had been just any ordinary day. Wake up early, train, and complete his assigned missions. Granted, he had quite a few missions to do today, without even being told why. The young Uchiha believed whatever the reason was, was that it must have been important enough to drop a load of work onto the Genin. “Now that ya mention it, I haven’t seen a single Chuunin, let alone a Jounin walking around.” the silver-haired teenage boy thought to himself, deep in his own thoughts. “Hmm, I wonder if other genin like Toran got a huge load of work as well,” The young Uchiha thought to himself. The more he continued to think about it, the more it bothered him. Despite that though, he couldn’t figure out why something like this was bothering him so badly. Normally, Isemori would instantly disregard stuff like this … I guess it was because he gradually started to be more serious when it came to his work as a shinobi.
He was no longer a little kid that would go to the academy every day to study. He learned that the hard way when his leg was cut off and stitched back on. Sure, he was still his normal goofy self, but it wasn’t like everyone that knew him saw him while he was on an assigned mission. He took them seriously enough he felt, and to him, that was all that mattered … aside from a few small things, the thought crossed his mind whilst he continued to walk. For one, which was more than likely the most important thing was that his Sharingan had been acting … different. He even recalled Toran mentioning a ‘unique pattern’ - calling it a different kind of Sharingan. But what kind of Sharingan was it? He only knew of the standard Sharingan. It was something that he’d have to look into at the Archives when he had the chance, granted if he was even able to have such kind of access. Ise as he had continued to walk, had lost his train of thought when a little girl a few feet ahead of Ise started speaking aloud to their mother.
“Hey mommy, what’s that!?” She said pointing up ahead towards the village gate, promptly having the Young Uchiha’s eyes move directly to where she was pointing. Despite it being in the distance, far away from where they were, Isemori could see a silhouette of a massive construct. Ise squinted his eyes, trying to make heads or tales of it. That was when he had seen walls on his side begin to form as if to block the construct's entry. That was when Ise had a sickening feeling form in his gut, telling him that something was wrong.

Toran's eyes softly fluttered open when the sun hit his eyes. It had been time to start another day inside of Hoshigakure and hopefully be able to go on a few more missions while he was at it. His comfy bed would have to wait for Toran to come back to it, as he’d begin to get ready for the day. Pulling together an outfit consisting of a Dark blue jacket over his black overalls as a Shinobi. Grabbing his pouch of shinobi equipment he gave a small smile towards himself in the mirror before running down the stairs. His mother however wasn’t there, his eyebrow raised as she had left a note. Toran grabbed the letter while walking out the door with an apple in his mouth. His eyes quickly scanned the paper and found that his father had not come home last night, apparently having slept inside of the library of all things. He knew that he had a few missions to take care of today, lucky for him they were all mostly just D-rank missions that he was rather excited for. Hopeful that Isemori himself was also able to do some missions for himself as well. However that all changed as he made his way near the gates of Hoshigakure, spotting Isemori there as well along with the girl pointing at the massive construct that Toran could make out.
It was almost as a reflex that he’d run over towards the two who were there, almost without warning he’d practically bark at everyone there who wasn’t a Shinobi. His eyes a crimson red now when he stared at everyone, hopeful that the guards could also notice and usher others away from the gate itself.
“Everyone get away from the front gate!!” He screamed out with a sudden panic wrapping around his own voice. It was almost as if things weren’t going to end well with how this was shaping to be. His heart racing, Toran knowing that as a Genin he didn’t have much sway, but that construct was something that others could see. Toran not knowing about the Protocol would have potentially caused a Panic. But it was better than people dying including Isemori from this whole situation. He ran up to Isemori, his eyes showing that young panic of someone who was inexperienced for what was going on. Toran unknowing about the situation or what even could happen during this time.
“What’s happening Ise!? H-how’d that massive thing get there?!” He said, his tone of voice showing slight fear about the situation. Not knowing what to make of it currently. It was almost as if this could be it for everyone, his eyes seeing the masses of chakra gathering on the battlefield. It could only be said that things were becoming tense in the young Uchiha’s mind, his heart rate increasing dramatically with each passing moment in time. Just what was going to happen, what could they even do in this very moment?!

Re: The End of it All [Observation]
Tue Mar 15, 2022 12:55 pm
It started as a day like many others. But even so, Arashi felt off. He kept glancing up at the sky as if the clouds would tell him why he was feeling like this. But of course, the clouds were clouds. And his family up there couldn't do much in their state. His mind wandered, as he lay with his soon-to-be wife Tsuji, as he helped change and feed little Akihana, and as he went through his own training exercises. He had plans for the day, including looking for his team and taking missions, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
Unfortunately, that feeling not only got more powerful as the morning went on, but it came to fruition. The birds were disturbed like he was, and the skies seemed to shift. Then he heard it. Or rather felt it. For a moment he thought it was an earthquake, but that couldn't be. He turned towards the noise direction, and shot himself up in cloud form. He was just able to see over the gate when not only did he see it, but the alarms were blown. All he needed to see was the mountain of wood and it told him everything. The day he feared since he was a child had finally arrived. Hoshi was about to be hit.
The jounin dropped to the ground as people scrambled to follow emergency village procedures. He dashed in the other direction, towards his home. Tsuji was already there with Aki and her own parents. Their conversation was silent, they both knew what the other was going to say, and how they would respond. Arashi pulled his fiance into a tight hug with Aki in the middle, and kissed her.
"Don't you dare die on us."
He nodded, stepping back and dashing instead. Grabbing his flak jacket and gear, he rushed back out and said his goodbyes, before running above the roofs of the buildings, headed for the gate. He heard shouting, as well as a call to arms from below, but before he could reach the gates a shout from below calling his name stopped him. He recognized her immediately, a complete change from when he first returned. Shina. The weather shinobi arrested his movement, dropping down to the ground in front of her, near the gates.
"I was just about to meet up with the Hogokage..." he started, but she continued.
"Not yet, you have different orders. The Hogokage-"
Arashi was stunned. "But the village is literally under attack! And I can finally do what I couldn't decades ago!"
"I know, Arashi! I know! But our duty is to the village first. The Kage knows this. We can't send all of our jounin out to the front lines and leave the reast of the villiage to fend for themselves. There are any number of unsavory types that will see this and try to take advantage of. Maybe even spies already in the village. We need someone we can try to handle themselves if needed, and get the villagers to the evacuation points. And hopefully they won't make it into the village, but if they do... then we have an ace on our sleeves. Please trust me on this one, Arashi."
The jounin wanted to keep arguing... to get himself on the front lines... but the logic was sound. All he could do was sigh. "Alright, into the plateau. Send any genin to me." he stated, turning on his heels and running towards the evacuation zones. As he ran over the rooftops, he figured he should be ready to fight.
"Kumonikutai!" he stated, as his clothes started to end in mist. He opened his eyes, where the blue irises were larger, and lightning strikes darted from the outside in. It wasn't so much an ability as it was a means to activate his own cloud blood. Now... it was the waiting game... while he directed and made sure civilians were able to follow the procedures to safety.

Re: The End of it All [Observation]

Like any other day Typhon woke up in his uncomfortable bed. It was early and he had plenty to do. His standard morning routine involved making a pot of tea, lining up his father's medicine on the counter, and preparing a breakfast for the both of them. Cooking wasn't the young man's strong suit but he always enjoyed trying when it came to his dad. The old man never failed to compliment him, even if he made a mistake. He was barely through with the bacon when he heard shouting from outside.
He wasn't sure what was going on, but it certainly wasn't normal. Peaking through the blinds Ty caught sight of families running terrified. There didn't seem to be any shinobi running though, instead they were headed in the opposite direction. Running towards whatever the danger was. He knew he needed to join them, but his father wouldn't be able to escape by himself.
"Dad! Dad come on wake up please! It looks really bad!" He shouted out loudly. He could hear stirring in his father's room but not the urgent kind. He ran into the room holding both of their masks and frantically helped the old man to his feet.
"Cmon! This is no joke we need to get you out of here now." He said trying to stay calm.
"What are you even talking about son? I don't under-" his dad started to protest but was cut off.
"Please don't argue right now! We need to go." He threw a coat on his father and strapped his own mask on. Ty grabbed his sword and hip Pouches and pushed the old man out the door.
Luckily he caught sight of a familiar face. His father's nurse was just stepping out of her home, bags in hand.
"Dad I need you to go with Jenna. She'll get you to the evacuation zone... Oh damn your meds!" He almost forgot about the medicine his father needed to keep going. It could have been disastrous. Running back in and out with the bottles in hand he found the nurse holding his dad's hand.
Ty thrust the meds into his father's pocket and grabbed his arm tightly, "I love you dad. I gotta go but I promise I'll find you as soon as I can."
The old man was usually quick with a joke but in this moment he looked very solemn. "Please come back. I can't lose you to this village too."
His father's words nearly brought Ty to tears but he needed to get going. The two locked eyes and then the genin spun around and started running towards the problem. He needed to understand what was going down and if he could even help. As he ran he did his best to avoid touching anyone, he was already sweating and an outbreak in the evacuation zone would be the last thing the village needed.
He only stopped once he spotted someone he knew. Toran Uchiha, a fellow member of team winter. Standing on a rooftop above the young shinobi, Ty would yell down "HEY! TORAN! You got any idea whats going...." He let his own words trail off upon seeing a massive construct hurtling towards the gates. The village was under attack.
His heart sank as he tightened his grip on the sword at his waist. Was he even ready for something like this?

Re: The End of it All [Observation]

The heavens grew dark, murky and seemed without much hope. Despair was slowly setting into the hearts of the many villagers as the gigantic wooden creation towered over them, dwarfing them in comparison. Many of the village shinobi that were capable did what they could to help evacuate them to safety. Among them was none other than Tsunayoshi. He and his ravens one S and one A of great size and length helped with transporting them to an ideal location, outside of the village, swiftly at that.
Once that was seen too, and he felt that the remaining shinobi could deal with the few civilians that were left - he departing to meet up with the rest of his able body peers. He knelt upon the head of Aoi as she flew side-by-side with Darkwing towards the observation tower near the village gates, but not directly stationed next to it. Two massive shadows would coat the building as they hovered. Tsuna looking down, and Aoi lowering just enough for him to enter through the window.
The Hoshimura was clad in his armor Bittersteel and his arsenal of weaponry was placed where they always are (see stat page) “What is the status of the invasion? Someone answer me!” His voice carried with ice, projecting loud enough for everyone to hear him clearly, demandingly. His ocean blue eyes with gold rings would scan the room to find a screen to set them upon. Approaching he would come to find the answer that he demanded. A group of 4 people, one of them he knew of, no… two of them. Souji Hyuuga, a participant of the passing Chuunin exams, one of the few contestants that Tsuna found to be genuinely problematic - he was the same person that crippled one of his fellow shinobi in their first round. And the other Kizmaru, the former Mizukage. This was all strange. He would also notice their resistance force, Ayato and Dusk amongst others of great skill.
He would dismiss the two ravens and watch on from the tower. It was not in his wishes to ignore the others, he was just on edge from this attack. His home, all that he knew and loved was at risk of being destroyed. One could only imagine the thoughts in his head

"Lord Hogokage, my Lord Ayato... there is truly no other more fit to lead the Hyuuga Clan. An unrivaled legend~" Kuniko's words drifted in the wind and were lost among the panicked villagers. His eyes were welled up with pride for his master, his smile could not be concealed. Despite the present danger to the city, as a retainer, Kuniko could feel no greater joy than knowing his master was rushing to its defense. It had all been worth it, to experience this moment. All of the danger, the battles, the heartache and loss of fellow clan members. The loss of Team Summer... all were a winter's storm that heralded the spring to come.
Kuniko looked away from the street he was in towards the path he was about to take into a familiar copse of trees. As the sounds of birds chorused above, Kuniko used his Byakugan to look towards the familiar grave of Takeshi in the heart of the orchard. "I will have to regale you of our master's progress tomorrow my friend, if the village still exists tomorrow... I know our team, our mentor, and our clan are proud of what we started. We mustn't let Lord Ayato think our efforts are in vain." Kuniko whispered to the resting bones in the earth. He then started walking back into the crowded street, urging the civilians to stay calm and head to safety. Few listened.
Kuniko looked down at his wares; he no longer wore the headband of a shinobi, nor was it anywhere on his person. Kuniko was clad in a simple hakama that he was given by the head of the cadet branch after he regained his modesty. Though still clearly a Hyuuga, one might mistake Kuniko at first for civilian. Knowing his limitations, Kuniko proceeded through the streets trying to maintain order as alarms were raised and the world seemed to quake.
Kuniko looked up towards the castle his clan occupied. He knew his limitations in battle, and decided his presence would be necessary at the Hyuuga compound. If all hope failed, Kuniko believed he could ensure that the secrets of the clan would escape or be destroyed before falling into enemy hands. He left the streets and started leaping from rooftop to tree branch on his way to the castle.

Youta would wake up like any other day little would he know that this day would be the day that shaped his life in so many ways. He would walk downstairs to see his adoptive mother and father. He would eat breakfast before his morning meditation. He would start heading to the gazebo. This was one of the precious few days that Youta had off. He had no plans which was rare for him. He would meditate for a few hours trying to communicate with the Yuumei.
A dark shadow figure walked up in his mind “Youta, it is good to see you again.” Youta would walk up to this figure. “Praxidike, it about time we talk again. I have not had time to learn much about you again”. The figure would walk up “I sense that we will have a lot of fun in the future. I will eat and be satisfied and grant us my power. But I have sensed you are attracting more interesting powers who will provide us with more power and we will prosper and be willing to do what is necessary.” He had been meditating for a few hours when all of a sudden a scream echoed from the streets. He was in the middle of saying “Praxidike! Settle down! Do not try to” then his concentration was broken and he woke up to the scream. He instinctively used his armory seal to summon his stuff from home.
He would walk outside and see a rush of people heading towards the emergency buildings. He would rush towards the building his family was assigned to. He would see his elderly parents getting ready for the evacuation with everyone else. “Mom, Dad I will find you no matter what but I have to go.” They were saying something but it was so muffled in the noise of the mass panic Youta could not make it out.
He would rush towards the gates and see a few other Genin, specifically Toran, Typhon, and his good friend Ise. He would see over the gate a massive wooden Buddha. He would think to himself “what the hell is that?” He would then yell to his fellow shinobi “What is going on we have to make sure that everyone gets to safety.” He would walk over to them “ ok guys we have to fake bravery if we panic they panic. I honestly have no idea what to do except fake it till you make it. We have to look strong.” He was trying to motivate his fellow Genin when all of a sudden some is yelling about a jounin wanting all the Genin to report to him.
Youta would follow his fellow Genin whoever is going to talk to Arashi. He would bow to the jounin and say “Hello Youta Shinkou reporting from team Spring sir. If I may, what is going on and what do you need us to do?”

More and more shinobi began gathering, wondering what they could do or even what was going on. The energy in the air was palpable and there was no shortage of confusion. As a genin Ty really had no idea what he should be doing and so he followed the group on the rooftops to the plateau where a jounin was gathering people up.
The young Canopic would come to a stop in front of the man (Arashi) and salute. "Typhon Sepsus, member of team winter reporting in." He would take a moment to catch his breath and then ask, "do we have any info on what's going on?"
He hoped that someone higher up the chain of command would be able to make some sense out of this chaos.

"This way! Be careful, don't push!"
The Jounin did his best organizing and running the evacuations, though he struggled to not leave and join the fight up front. He could feel the rumbles of the ground and the feel of the breezes created... but he had a job to do. Having summoned the maximum amount of clones, he was effectively in multiple places at once, including the sky as he watched the evacuations below, and the fighting behind. It was surprisingly tiring work... the phrase 'herding cats' came to mind several times. But so far things were orderly, and his own family ended up being the ones leading people into the cliffs of the plateaus.
It was the arrival of some of the village's shinobi that caught the attention of him. The Village's genin were skilled, but no where near ready to take on such high level opponents. Arashi himself was probably just barely at that level. Maybe that was why he was regulated here...
He shook the thoughts from his head. He had a growing amount of ninja here looking for guidance, and if Hoshi was to survive this, they needed the leadership. "Winter and Spring. How fitting. To put it bluntly, Hoshi is under attack. Whether its by another village or powerful rogues is hard to say. The best policy is to assume another village and plan for that. That's why we're here. The Kage already has a defense team up front, our jobs here are to make sure the evacuation of the village goes smoothly in case the worst happens." he stated, stopping to assure a woman that this was just a precuation.
"I won't lie... our village is in a precarious spot. There is no telling if the fundamentalists will take advantage of the chaos and work against us, or if other forces try to come in from behind. Ideally with you guys here you are in less danger... but there is no guarantee."
A loud boom from the gates alerted Arashi. "It seems they've started. Make sure the village is clear and everyone is coming this way. If the religious refuse... that is their choice. If you see anything amiss, you tell me first; do NOT engage unless you have no choice. Today we are all on the same thing. We are Hoshi-nin."
