Building Blow Up

Mission Details:

After the restaurant rumble, Isemori was nice and full after eating a bunch of tasty-looking food, however, despite yet another successful mission having been completed, They had one last mission for the day to complete, which sounded like a lot of fun - even better than cutting down a measly old tree that had overgrown. This time, they had to safely take down an old building on the edge of the trading district within the village. What’s more was that they actually didn’t need to rely on jutsu to do it. Both of the young Uchiha was told that the building needed to be safely blown up, and then provide clean-up after the explosion.

“Hey, Toran! How’s the placement of the paper bombs coming along?” Isemori had shouted, while managing to place a couple of his own, making sure that they were evenly spread apart along the left exterior, while Toran handled the right by placing his own paper bombs. Hopefully, Toran made sure to do the same thing that he was doing, otherwise … things could get a little messy, possibly a little dangerous. However, Isemori had decided to trust his younger cousin. After all, he was actually way more level-headed than Ise himself.

Isemori had wondered why Toran had gotten all flustered the way he did back when they had done the Restaurant Rumble to begin with. Was it because of him talking with his mom before they had left for the mission? Although, Ise technically didn’t even have the time to finish what he was gonna say. That was because Toran had practically pulled him out the door before he even had a chance to finish, although, if Ise had continued talking, chances were that they were gonna be late for the mission. Ise just simply wondered if that was the only reason, or if there was more to it than that, however, Isemori wasn’t even sure if his younger brother would even tell him without getting annoyed again.

It was for that reason that Ise had simply decided to not ask Toran why he behaved the way he did earlier. Instead, Isemori had decided to just simply let it be … for the time being at least. Isemori had then laughed at his younger brother’s comment about how he’d feel more comfortable with someone aiding them that could use barrier ninjutsu. That was when Isemori had spoken once more. “Well, according to the notes that were given to us, we can detonate them at a safe distance without … well, ya know,” Ise had looked at him, making a silent ‘boom’ sound while also using his arms and hands to mimic that of an explosion, trying to at least be somewhat funny.

The reason why Toran had gotten all flustered was because he didn’t like it when his parents knew of some of the stuff he potentially had said or done on any of the missions in general. The other reason why was mostly because he also wanted to tell them himself when the time was right for them to know what he had been doing and why he was now as strong as he was. He still had some amount of Uchiha pride, but enough to where it would be a distraction for any kind of mission of sorts. He did notice Isemori wanting to ask him more questions about what had happened during the house incident. But he wanted to tell the boy later while they weren’t busy dealing with trying to explode a giant house. He gave a small smile at Isemori making that kaboom motion with his own hands. Trying to lighten up the situation at hand would be very effective as is with what he was thinking of right now when it came to the explosion of the house.

“Well, let’s see, it is a pretty safe distance away, the only people here are me and you? So let’s blow this place up right?” He asked with a massive grin spread across his face while waiting for Isemori to give him the go ahead to make the chakra sign to make the tags explode and that way they could complete the mission as soon as possible. However Toran knew that they had a lot of work to do before he could officially call all of these missions such a success in the first place. But that problem would have to wait until the next rank of missions that he could do.

Ise couldn’t help but smile back at his younger brother, seeing that he had lightened up due to his little comedic stunt. What’s more was that, despite the way Toran had acted, in a way, Ise could somewhat understand. “He just wants to be able to do things on his own, which makes him no different than me. However, there will come a time too when Toran may be more open in that regard as well. People have a tendency to change, whether it's something they themselves intend to change or not. I mean, that’s how Itsuki changed … granted his change is-” Isemori’s train of thought was cut off by Toran talking, however, It was probably a good thing that the slightly older Uchiha snapped out of it.

“Yeah! Let me finish placing these paper bombs, and then we can get started!” Ise had said, kicking himself into overdrive, while still making sure to properly place all the tags on the parts of the building that he didn’t get to before. After a good fifteen minutes had passed, Ise had managed to get the final paper bomb he had in place, then quickly formed the hand seals with his left hand in order to body flicker towards Toran’s position, being a safe distance away from the building. “Alright! Ya ready?” Ise had said, forming half of a ram seal with his left hand, while Toran made the same hand seal, and upon doing so, a loud and decently sized explosion occurred. “Nice! And now all we gotta do is the cleanup and then we can be done!” Ise had said with a grin, making a motion with his hand for Toran to follow him towards the now-massive pile of what used to be the building. Ise pulled out two folded-up garbage bags that he was given to use after the building was blown up.

“I think it’d probably be a good idea to pick up the shards of glass everywhere first, working our way up to the bigger stuff,” Ise had said. It’d be a shame if younger kids came around here to play and get cut by them. Then again, why they would play near a place like that would be beyond him. He remembered going around to all sorts of places when he was younger to play, as well as the scrapes, cuts, and bruises from playing in those places. His mother would get so mad at him when he came back all banged up.

Toran gave a small smile back towards his older brother while they were talking about blowing up the building currently in front of them. Isemori was right that Toran wanted to do things by himself for a time. As he felt like he would be relying on others that he knew with their own strength without giving back to them in the future. It’s why he felt the way he did about Isemori signing up with all of these missions together and how the older cousin must have felt in this situation. Isemori had to have been annoyed at Toran at least somewhat for being on all of these missions with him. But Ise didn’t seem to be that way when Toran saw him, he was always the happy one out of the two. The one who was way less anxious about everything, the one who was able to talk to people and show his emotions more than the Toran could. It was something that he absolutely hated about himself at times. Something that made him feel this kind of emptiness that ate him away whenever he was around those that showed off so much more charisma then he did. But when he saw Isemori there it gave him that kind of hope that a friend would. Isemori was both a rival and an older brother figure, something he always wished he had when he was super little. So as Isemori made a cheery remark about setting up the paper bombs on the inside Toran could only nod before his grin widened further.

“Well come on then! No time wasting like the present Ise!” He shouted at him while the older would proceed with the planting of all the paper bombs that they had availble to them. Enough to where they should be able to turn the building most into dust. Toran using his sharingan to see if any of them had been accidentally lit if possible. Even though he was sure that Isemori would find a way to survive an explosion like that. He still wasn’t sure if there was anything else that he and Ise were to do in the mission besides also be the supposed clean up of the building as well. When Isemori finally returned from inside of the building Toran would check where all of the chakra signatures were before raising an eyebrow at just how many Isemori placed in the building.

“This thing is gonna be nothing but dust, but I respect it, light the fuse Isemori!” He said while channeling his own chakra into the explosion along with Isemori. As such a massive explosion enveloped the house itself. Blowing it off of the holsters itself as what was left of the house was rubble and debris spread across the area. Toran would nod at Isemori’s suggestion before beginning to try and sweep up all of the dust and glass as much as possible. Toran however wondered if Isemori had something to potentially help in this situation as It would take a bit for them to actually clean up the entire building after all that had happened.

After a good few hours of the two working hard to clean up all of the rubble from the explosion. Toran was soaked in sweat, splayed on the ground as he was so tired from all of the work that he and Isemori had to do in order to clean up the rubble itself. At least it was rewarding to see that everything worked out in the end.

Ise had grinned when Toran had asked him if there was a way for them to make the clean-up quicker than normal, and of course, there was one way, which the silver-haired Uchiha had already thought of before his little brother had asked him. With one hand, Ise formed the hand seals to create two shadow clones. It was kind of a bummer that he could only make two shadow clones, but at least it was something. One of Ise’s shadow clones teamed up with Toran, while the second clone helped the real Ise pick up the shards of glass. Once the shards of glass were picked up, they moved on to the bigger pieces of rubble that the explosion had produced.

After long strenuous hours of picking up the rubble, they had finally finished, producing a pile of trash bags. Sweating, Ise had fallen to the ground, obviously tired from it all. He was so tired that his own shadow clones had dissipated on their own. Luckily though, they were finished by the time the shadow clones disappeared in puffs of smoke. “Phew! Thank god we’re done! I don’t think I can even stand anymore, let alone bend over and pick up any more rubble,” Isemori had said in a wary tone, letting his back fall to the ground, plopping down, not caring that he was laying in a patch of dirt.

Tornado not thinking about using his own shadow clones was a blunder on his part. But it might have been because he was trying to conserve energy for later use in the future. It was a rather strange time for the two Uchiha's who were increasing in power in a steady amount of time. Over the past few weeks it was them simply bonding with each other. Now both of them were splayed out on the ground. Entirely exhausted from this day's events. From them blowing up the massive structure to cleaning the thing, it was all a mass day of them doing physical labor in order to get paid. Which was usually the best part about that, them getting actual money to spend now instead of having to ask someone for it.

"Hey Isemori…. At least the kids won't get hurt now from us doing this! So At least we did something great today!" He said through bated breaths from each huff. Small wheezing sounds were coming out of his throat as he seemed to at least have a bit of trouble breathing. But he was fine after a bit of time. Now simply laying in the patch of dirt with his brother. Thankful that another mission had been completed.
