Building Blow Up

Mission:

The weather was unexpectedly hot and humid today. The hot yellow sun of Otogakure shone brightly through the window on the face of the young Uchiha who was sleeping just 2 meters away. Hanzo was still in his deep sleep. The Genin slowly opened his eyes as the sun's bright ray hit his face. He could feel the heat on his face from the sun. The young Uchiha woke up with sleep in his eyes and feeling extremely tired from his previous mission. The Genin wiped both his eyes and from his bed he could feel the extreme heat of the weather as even his blanket was very warm. It wasn't a pleasant morning to start off with, but still the young Uchiha had to rank up soon. He was very close to his goal of taking the Chunin Exam. Not only that, by rising in ranks, he knew that he could become stronger to face his father in a battle. Hanzo had previously formulated a path to becoming stronger in order to defeat his father. As of now, he wanted to pass the Chunin Exam and join the Sound Ninja 5, the elite group of shinobi of his village. This determination gave him the motivation to get up from his bed as he clenched his fist towards the sky. The young aspiring Genin took a good cold shower to wash off the heat from his entire body. While he was in the shower, he thought of a brilliant idea. He knew that he had recently finished a mission for a fire break out. He knew that the building was on the verge of collapse. Since he already knows the lay of the land, it should be up for request for either a renovation or demolition. He wanted to take that mission and hoped it was a C Ranked Mission.

The red haired Uchiha changed into his daily attire and picked up the purple scarf that was moving in the wind. As he picked it up, his black pitched eyes slightly teared up since that scarf reminded him of his mother. His goal to avenge his mother was deeply rooted into his heart. He adorned the scarf around his neck with pride and love. The Genin wanted to use Ninjutsu in his battle hence he removed his Tanto from his back middle shoulder and left it on his table. He left his house feeling exhausted from his previous days of missions. The young Uchiha started walking slowly towards the Otokage Mansion. As he was walking, the purple scarf caressed his face due to the wind and went deep into thoughts about his past again. He was holding his mother as the dark sky fell upon them. A raging fire that was colored black was devouring his house right beside them. He has never seen black flames before. As his mother took her last breath, rain started pouring on them. The young Uchiha had tears from his eyes which were washed away by the rain. He turned to see his house and was surprised that the black flame wasn't extinguished even with the long duration of the downpour. The young Uchiha was intrigued by the technique and he had never seen that technique before during his time in the academy. He has not even seen anyone talk about that technique before. In that moment, he decided in his mind that he wanted to learn the same technique with black flame and use it on his father, which would be the perfect revenge to avenge his mother.

He was just 15 meters away from the Otokage Mansion. He could see how magnificent it was. His eyes focused on the Otokage's chair which could be seen from the window of the Otokage’s office. He continued walking and entered the Otokage Mansion. He stood directly in front of the Mission Board that was filled with mission requests and crossed his arms. He scanned through the missions in the Mission Board and one of the mission sheets captured his attention. As he read through the details, it was requested by the building owner from his previous mission, just as he thought. The building owner wanted the apartment building to be demolished in order to start construction on a new project. Since the building was burnt and on the verge of collapse, the best way to do this is to blow it up and clean up the mess. The good news was that the mission was stated as a C Ranked, which means without having to battle, he would still rank up. When the Genin completes this mission successfully, his villagers and his scarlet eyed clan members would be proud of the young Uchiha, which he thought to himself. Hanzo ripped the mission sheet that he wanted and kept it within his pocket. He adjusted his purple belt signifying that he was ready to start the mission. He began running towards the location of the burnt building.

As he was running towards the location, the Genin was also worried about the village people nearby the apartment complex when it collapses due to the demolition. As he was nearing the area, he could see the tall white building that was cluttered with blackness like it was painted black due to the burnt stain from the incident of fire. Since it was early morning, most of the people were asleep and didn't know that demolition was going to happen today. The young Uchiha was still 3 minutes away from the location of his mission. Hanzo used the Surface Walking Technique which he learnt from the Academy, that siphons chakra into his feet to cling on to surfaces. With that he climbed the apartments nearby and jumped from rooftops to rooftops heading towards the area of interest. The young Uchiha's primary concern was regarding the safety of the people nearby the location of the detonation. There may be debris that breaks in the middle of the detonation and flies towards innocent civilians. He had to evacuate them temporarily as once the demolition occurs a huge dust of dangerous debris will swarm the area for a while. He needed a way to mitigate that risk and to keep the damage within the 10 meters radius of the building. Since he didn't have any barrier techniques to use, he had to come up with a makeshift plan that required the demolition crew.

The red haired Uchiha formulated a plan. Firstly, he needs to arrive at the location and get a status report. Secondly, he needs to evacuate the villagers surrounding the building area. Thirdly, he needs to demolish the building. Lastly, he needs to clear the dust and clean up the mess. The young Uchiha finally arrived at the location and deactivated his Surface Walking Technique. He was just 20 meters from the burnt building. Hanzo was relieved to see that the demolition team had already set up a perimeter around the building with barricades with a height of 10 meters. The young Genin turned to find the demolition crew and spotted them about 15 meters away with an old lady in uniform giving orders, most probably their leader, the one in charge of the demolition operation. The demolition crew were already helping to move all the people from the building compound out of the area outside of the barricades to protect them from any backlash from the dust and debris. Hanzo rushed towards the old lady and introduced himself "My name is Hanzo Uchiha and I'm here to help you. What is the current status report regarding the demolition and the evacuation plan?". The old lady turned to look and was surprised by the shinobi. "I’m Captain Hitomi. Yes, we have been waiting for someone to help us with the demolition. We are only left with one family that is still nearby and need your help to evacuate them". Hanzo was glad that most of them were out and only required to evacuate one family. The old woman pointed to the house that was 40 meters away. The young bolted to the house of the family and immediately evacuated them.

Once everything was set up, Hanzo informed the old lady to start with the demolition. The old lady informed that they have already setup 10 explosives inside of the building strategically. The young Uchiha walked towards the detonation machine that required him to push down the lever. The old lady gave him a thumbs up with a smile. Hanzo smiled back with excitement regarding the demolition. With good strength he pulled down the lever and looked up at the building that was 30 meters away from him. Within 3 seconds, the explosives start going off one by one from the bottom floor to the top. As the building was falling apart a huge chunk of wall was flying out. Without any hesitation, the Uchiha activated his Sharingan and bolted towards the flying wall. He evaded all the debris thanks to his amazing visual prowess and navigated his way through to the flying wall. At the speed he was running, he performed the hand signs, Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox and initiated the Chidori technique. He disintegrated the flying wall successfully with his technique and ran back to the safe zone in order to look out for other falling debris. The building collapsed within 10 seconds. It was a sight to behold and Hanzo deactivated his Sharingan. Due to the demolition, a huge swarm of black colored dust and smoke started swarming around the radius of the building. The barricades were doing their best to hold off the dust with only a small amount of dust getting out in the creaks. As the mission was a success, it was time to clean up the mess. Hanzo and the demolition team started clearing the debris by disposing them in a nearby machine to incinerate it into scraps which the demolition crew will reuse in their company. Simultaneously, they used an exhaust system to inhale the dust particles into a filtering machine in order to make the environment clean again. By the time they finished, the sky had turned dark and the team were hungry.

The demolition team were very happy with the young shinobi's performance in saving them from the huge flying wall. As a token of appreciation, the old lady politely asked the young Uchiha to join them for dinner since they had completed their mission. Hanzo felt recognized and appreciated by this gesture. Hanzo and the demolition crew headed to the nearest food stall and ate dinner together, sponsored by the old lady. The demolition crew leader asked Hanzo about his parents, which Hanzo responded with a smile filled with sorrow and said that he's an orphan. Once they completed their dinner, they each headed home. Hanzo walked back to the Otokage Mansion to inform the Administrator of the mission completion and to get his reward. As he was walking, he kept thinking about his family that he used to have. He could have a good childhood along with a good life, only if his father didn't become obsessed with power and kill his mother. He felt that he didn't have anyone in his life that is important or beloved. Even if he did, he would never ever behave as his father. He could never kill someone that was dear to him. The young Uchiha was filled with hatred towards his father for causing his life to go the wrong route. Hanzo really wanted to find his father and to avenge his mother. With his emotions rising high, he could feel his Sharingan being activated automatically. With a huge hatred in his heart for his father, he could feel some tingling sensation in his Sharingan. He dispersed the thought as soon as he reached the Administrator Office. The Administrator gave him an envelope that was filled with cash and Hanzo thanked the administrator before leaving home.
