Mission Details :

As the foursome stood around the tied up body of the mastermind behind such salacious activities, something rather unexpected occurred.  The man started to laugh, and Asahi was using the term man loosely here.  The lad couldn’t even be of age, but the way he guffawed like a diabolical supervillain was nonetheless very disconcerting.  “Umm lad…..I think you are in the worse of it?”  Asahi would ask a little questioningly.  He glanced around at his partners, just to see what they had to think about the whole thing.  Before anyone could say much however, the boy had pulled his arms free and ripped his sleeves.  A waste of clothing Asahi thought, until he saw the seals.

The spread over his body like a strangle vine that’s as killing trees. They glowed bright only to turn to a toxic purple before turning staunch black.  His laughter never ceases until finally he got a word out.  “Spring time will be your worlds end!”  The words were meant to be dramatic, Asahi could read context clues well enough to know that’s what he’d meant for.  To his ears though, it merely came off as very…..cliche.  Surely he could have come up with some better banter than that.  If one takes all this time for an evil plan, you’d think they’d at least come up with great lines to go with it.

His voice cracked as the seals ripped through his flesh, pieces of him vanishing as the seals swirled and the energies dispersed.  From what he said, the firework show that was set to launch any minute would blast through the dimensional rift, and then proceed to destroy their own reality.  This again, seemed rather dramatic and a bit like a filler story to a real narrative.  One of those that doesn’t really make sense but allows some good old fashion fan-service of powers.

The whole thing had Asahi remove his pipe from his sleeve before  turning it upside down, dispersing the contents onto the ground.  Maybe that was just a bad batch, and this was one awful trip.  He’d wake up in jail being told how he beat up a wooden doll, a kid, and ruined a fireworks show.  The thought made him chuckle a little to himself, but he might as well see it all through he though to himself.  Replacing the kiseru, he’d folded his hands and clapped as the lad fully vanished into the ether among the energies of the seals.  Above them the inky black energy seemed to ebb and flow towards the stage that they’d all know had the fireworks.

“Well boys, I guess….either we fix this problem, or it’s not going to be our problem.”  He had hoped these words would bring comfort but in truth they weren’t exactly the most encouraging.  “Let’s try not to set these off on accident aye?”  He wasn’t sure what would happen if someone’s errant abilities struck a firework,  but it seemed to be I’ll advised to do so.  Call it an educated guess if you will, but it certainly tracked.

Ahead there were plenty of guards to tangle with to get to the fireworks.  Poor chaps probably had no idea what was going on and merely were doing their job.  “And don’t kill anyone, it’s not their fault!”  He’d say pointing towards the guards.  He eyed them, knowing that if he saw someone attempt to hurt a guard more than necessary he’d be obligated to intervene.  With that however, he was off rushing towards the stage.  As he ran he seemed to vanish, his looks, and chakra signature seemed to blow away on the wind as the dustless cover completely vanished him from the world.  Sure he was still there, but no one needed to know that.

Being invisible had its perks, and thanks to that slipping by the guards was easy, especially if his three partners rushed the stage as well.  Once on stage he tried to take a look around.  As he did he noticed several fireworks also had the same strange seals that the boy had had, yet they still flowed with bright light seals, nothing like the toxic mutation of purple and black that floated above them, working towards the stage to act as catalyst.

Not every firework had them however, bringing his hands together and moved forming several seals.  The en field moved around him, a greater field of protection so that he could search out the fireworks.  He could pick up the remnants of the boys chakra that remained in the fireworks.  Using this barrier he rushed about gathering as many of the fireworks into large bundles as he could.  He hoped that the other threee were causing enough of a distraction as to keep the guards from noticing random fireworks vanishing and coming back now in a large pile.  The real question remained however……what to actually do with all of them.

Though not much time had passed……the fireworks were now gathered.  Releasing his technique with a slight sweat dripping down his brow, he shouted out….”Oye lads, umm anyone know how to get rid of these without setting them off!”  With his shout he also drew some of the attention of the guards.  Reaching down he found a large firework that was unmarked by the death seal, and started waving it around.  Keeping the guards that had come for him at bay.  “I got them all gathered up, just need someone to either get rid of that, or those!”  He’d gesticulate towards the mass of energy and then the fireworks in turn.

He had no way to do it, so his best bet would be to be a distraction while someone with those capabilities took the helm.  He danced and dived, performed different techniques thag kept him out of trouble, but was careful not to set anything dangerous off.  Slowly he moved the guards away from the stage.  “Hurry now!”  He’d shout, everything was coming to a head.  He’d done what he could, it was up to the others.

The finale Empty Re: The finale

Thu Apr 21, 2022 1:11 pm
Upon the downfall of the man that gave them clothes and tickets, he released a seal that was imprinted on his body and let out a sinister laugh causing everybody to back away from the subdued Dino Dynamo.  Then he spoke the words that caught everyone around that could hear off guard; ““Spring time will be your worlds end!””  The cliche words were cringey at best and he remembered more than a few scum uttering similar things right before they were dead…just great, that would mean that this little adventure was not done yet.  Yamato watched as did the others as the seals tore away from the man as they were activated. It looked painful…the look in the eyes of the ticketmaster also gave the same impression as there were tears, but he was laughing maniacally the entire time.  The Hoshi jounin did not stand for it as he walked up and punched the man, he brutally laid into him until the man finally passed out, but the deed was already done and they were now left with this asshat, tied up and and the sky darkened a little prematurely and that was the signal.  Before Asahi could point out what this all meant Yamato could feel the chakra as it was leaving a very distinct trail towards the grand stage that Yamato had seen a few times before when traveling the grounds.  He watched as Asahi cleaned his pipe and then spoke to the lot of them and gave a small warning as they all could understand that setting off these fireworks would be a bad, bad idea.  The only problem was the fact that the stage was often occupied by guards and that would be a thing they would need to get through in order to take care of the remaining obstacle.

So they set off towards the stage, the guards met their eyes and Asahi spoke up giving them a small warning not to kill the guards as it was not their fault.  Yamato was of a similar mindset and he loosened the tie to the top of his festival garb.  The music began to grow louder as the people thought this was some sort of show and cheers and jeers filled the air.  These fools of course had no idea that the four men were all that stood between them and absolute destruction.  Asahi became invisible and Yamato felt in touch with the natural chakra that was abundant in the area and he leaped forward and into the guards as weapons were drawn and the Sakura Warriors were then engaged in battle with the guards.  Yamato stuck a guard in the face, sending him stumbling back as the others began to draw their weapons.  Yamato reached forward and grabbed the blade of the guard, drawing it and in the same motion he breathed deeply and blocked the slashes that came from above him.  The crowd thought it was some sort of great choreographed scene and the bards continued to drum up the excitement with their instruments.  The guards were up against a wall and against four individuals whose strength together would rival any singularly powered foe.  Yamato pushed forward before whistling to cover for a few seals as he summoned forth some chakra as the sword he found himself using was now coated in a thin aura of his chakra.  “Let’s give the crowd a night they can remember, come at me you bastards!”  He called out before slashing forward with the bling backside of the katana.  The chakra of course cut into the man, but the blunt force was enough to cause the man to double over and begin to retch as he struggled to catch his breath.

Yamato did not pay attention to the others as of yet because he was focused on fighting 5 guards.  The one he attacked at the beginning regained his footing and then lunged at Yamato to grasp at his heels…to distract him, but Yamato was faster and he brought his knee up into the guards gut before tossing him into another guard, causing the one guard who has just become a barrier to toss his blade forward.  Yamato deftly maneuvered and caught the blade and added his chakra to the blade before bringing them both up to defend against the attacks from the side.  He cut the blades into short nubs and rendered the guards useless before he quickly and lightly stabbed the two of them in their shoulders to bring them out of the fight.  Asahi called out asking if anyone had any ideas to take care of the fireworks and Yamato threw down the swords as the guards were reeling from the attack and he jumped up onto the stage and began to inspect the fireworks.  “We need to remove the seals from all of these and find a way to disperse the powder without causing a spark.  I will get started on breaking the seals…cover me.”  He said as he began to move quickly and helped to disarm the bombs along with any that helped him.  Shortly they were all done and the fireworks were all disabled, the ones that were harmless and did not have any chakra seals on them at all numbered a little over half and Yamato ignited the harmless fireworks as he took an armfull of the chakra bomb fireworks and he sped off the stage.  He hoped that the others would be following him and he made his way to the closest area that was not occupied.  He was illuminated by the fireworks in the sky before he found a watering well and he tossed the fireworks in as he broke them one by one.  He wanted to soak the chakra infused gunpowder and render it useless.  Eventually the chakra would go back to the dimension and the world it inhabited and they would be fine…but the process was long as they all had to help presumably.  He would help any of the group that needed it before falling on his ass once it was done.

“Thats…thats it right…we are fucking done after this…let us destory the well and seal the earth here so that way the chakra can diffuse itself…I am tired, I don’t know about you all…”  He would say while breathing heavily.  He reached into his pocket and pulled out some fair tickets and laughed…”We could all go for a drink right?  I am not the only one that thinks so I hope…no tea this time…just booze.”  He said with a chuckle as he was inviting everyone to come and have a drink to signify that they were done with this wild goose chase.  If anyone took him up on the offer he would return with them to the closest tavern tent and he would continue buying drinks until he was just almost out of tickets…whoever said that this would be a relaxing vacation time was a fucking liar and honestly needed to be hung by their toes for a few days…this was all a huge load of bullshit that honestly felt like it had no real value on his training and he hated that the most.

After the night of drinking and a small stroll to a housing tent he would too soon wake back up…this time he found himself back in a field in Hoshigakure and he looked around at his surroundings and was astounded…and his head felt like it would remove itself from his shoulders.

“Fuck me…that was…hopefully all just a fevered dream.”

The finale Empty Re: The finale

Thu Apr 21, 2022 5:41 pm
Spoiler:

The time for the next task has come. Aged, Maneku begins wanting to leave the tasks to others whenever great success is possible. The sense of fulfilling adequately pushes Maneku onward with this unit as a whole. Before the next task, Maneku had prepared himself mentally positively, like by how there's been no great conflict. Preparing for the worst is equal to expecting the best in Maneku's view. The last of the festival's enjoyed, while Maneku gives grace to it's rewards and his new riches that'll bring the best of his futures.

Tents had been hiding hard works, worlds within worlds. A pleasant dimension doesn't make Maneku understand why his opposition works so hard in protest. Fairgrounds wrestle a nice escape perhaps though, and they end up loose in the end. Every year, being at the same fairground would test Maneku's patience. On his wandering through the tents, Maneku wonders which village he should visit?

No matter where he goes, things and dimensions tied to feelings will die without the villains. The first punch Maneku threw out in protest hurt, long ago. Now, Maneku just opens his palms to fish. A moniker of a savior or a profiteer is all the same to Maneku, and he wouldn't of minded negotiation. Setting the right path, or a connection of salvation, all that's too flimsy and too shallow a string though for the dollman.

As he thinks in a clearing, Maneku wants to burrow himself. Doton won't find new things underground though and Maneku doesn't have to have his way to the skies. Now that the missions come to their peak, the old man had decided the easiest solution should of been destruction after all. Half-answers leave Maneku to unnecessary risks that always back-fire, like birds flying up to then shit on him. Every time Maneku lost his hearts and didn't drain out the blood, he lost his mind in dealing with the aftermaths. Memories are still vague to Maneku, when he's lost any sense of immediate needs.

For now, the task will commence, as Maneku stands with his allies. Self-protecting taijutsu will help Maneku survive, and the crazed proclamations echo in his ears. Comfortable still, Maneku has a Cherry Blossom Yukata on the body, the jet black oni mask also matching the yukata still. To this moment, Maneku has not met his main aims, which is to reveal his demonic pleasures quietly. No great accomplishments never before seen have been done yet. A gothic dismay covers Maneku's inability to have farmed the dimension to it's last. Covering himself to hide the greater wants is boring. The more something is covered, the more it pushes out through the gaps. A cursed allowance has been given to Maneku, and he loves to shock the lender.

Having read the books on the human body, bloodlines, and jutsu has made Maneku experienced with what influences the outcomes. Being bounded by a small identity leaves this dolly wanting to expand it's looks. With the pressing destruction imminent, Maneku can only try to force crime with justice in his thoughts. Looking at the annoyances, Maneku thinks to chop up emergency food, for what's worthy of storage to fill up a doll.

A childish villain, what might the employers of the dimension had done to him? One of his allies went to the cooking, but the smell is too obvious. All of his allies didn't attack Maneku, so he only allowed the injustices to the dimensional natives later. Helplessly having watched the young supervillain, Maneku can only admire the intricate seals. For Maneku's mind, fuinjutsu might as well be jibberish. Enough enhancing and Maneku can deal with a lot of fuinjutsu, but he doesn't imagine prepared bombs are something to be dealt with often. Hostage situations require a criminal like Maneku to care for them in the first place usually. Fanatic children bombers are an interesting setting, yet Maneku's moral fibers aren't tingled, nor does the dolly feel like he needs to adjust himself too much in preparation. Breaking a dimensional wall or a potential ending of worlds truly doesn't affect Maneku that much. If there's a world where this world-ending attendant is, then there's surely some more worlds Maneku could find if he practices enough.

"I'm a little ill-suited to fight low-key right now, I'll help with the guards regardless." Replying to Asahi calmly, Maneku didn't want to have his allies become in trouble. De-escalation is a troublesome thing. To deal with the guards, Maneku just needs to endure their abuse long enough for the others to have things come to completion. Being used as a punching bag isn't below Maneku's worth. Assessing how to get revenge in a minor situation is pleasurable, such as how to torture others without complete death. Eyeing Asahi back, Maneku then turns to who must be struck delayed. Being monitored by an excellent sensor lowers Maneku's room to play. Rushing but backing off with waved hands, Maneku doesn't look to want to participate yet. The guards have more pressing concerns, and Maneku blends into nearby oni props. Summoning his oni by placing down the marked palm, Maneku threatens the oni to not move.

He'd have his summons or allies ferry him around if he could. If the summons die, Maneku will move on to more, the expenditure isn't a loss. Every relation is a tie that can reflect on Maneku's future though. A mix of santa and oni, giving gifts of death, Maneku won't rely on his summon too much. An early arrogant ending's better than someone's boring later on, as they disappear without an interesting word.

Permanently affecting someone's afterlife and stealing their after-future is a good birth for oni. Maneku doesn't disagree with convincing others, but he'd prefer the guards just do their work better, and it becomes unpleasant to convince them. The dolly looks for who to play with, as with how he was played by the whims of fate. Maneku is used to running away, but he'll never run if he has a chance to grow something.

Animals fare better with their sharp teeth than the rusted blades passed down. If a guard comes near Maneku, he'd throw them on to his summon's sharp but still claws. A demon made in celebration joins the oni prop parade. Observing the youth brings Maneku to be more realistically barbaric.

Searching and mocking, Maneku had sung his eerie tunes earlier in his entrance to the dimension. False stability urges Maneku onward to create his forever-home, and the youth's act doesn't seem to have any more future. The world's illusionary needs grow distant from Maneku's need for explosive safety. Assuring a severance in benefits is the only thing that makes Maneku's aging in the moment. The crumbling rocks of the dimension shelter the gold Maneku finds, but he's found enough. The ending is all that's remembered rather than the poisonous knowledge. A loose string leads to a total unraveling on a whimsical pull.

Removing people's justice brings the color to Maneku's light, but he doesn't see enough obstacles for him to begin painting. The show begins to end and Maneku has come full-manifest in his taking on a tanky role through his summon. Filling up valuable soil looks random until bloated from curses. Poison and plagues create a new foundation, but Maneku doesn't let his summon die today since it takes no damage.

Invading another mission could merit a more comprehensive completion, Maneku thinks to himself while wading through strikes. People's assumptions make them blind, for Maneku's management of his sense is a series of experiment, like only needing to manage his sense of pain. Villains that silently accumulate are far more scary. If the enemy had hidden like he'd had before, with the child's abilities he could of easily activated self-destruction with little time for people to react. Patience is hard to accumulate, and the meaning of something becomes lacking without reaction. The correct course is undermined by sneaking around too much.

Being bragging and spiteful at one's demise is just foolishness. When there's nothing to lose, there's nothing to please or improve, and the acts should just be gotten over with. Imprisonment risk makes death the best alternative until someone guarantees your terrorism has given you gains. Maneku doesn't need a welcome from the attendant again, any random person has been Maneku's enemy for a long-time now. Lashing out at others like a wild dog doesn't mean Maneku still isn't a cute dog, as he watches his caretakers wear themselves down on a "prop oni" Maneku defends with.

A warrior has no ties besides to the battlefield. Most warriors need glory to continue, and Maneku doesn't grant this. After the battle ends, there's nothing learned for most. As for Maneku, the only glory he seeks is in hiding his accumulation. Growing oneself and others refusing is the stuffing the dolly needs. Creating production is only to improve oneself. Avoiding responsibility for deeper digging is the path that most mission-takers choose. Stealing tickets is something Maneku would do if he felt it's needed, he'd of just made it more justified. Needle and thread, step by step, Maneku doesn't see anything to grab. Connecting the dots and becoming whole isn't to be done here. Some people have a longer needle and thread, an endless appetite. The most extravagant riches hasn't sated Maneku's childish goals for today.

"Yeah! Just disarm them, they had to be handled beforehand." Shouting, another antsy solution to the fireworks doesn't appear apparent to Maneku. Stymying their blow-ups could work, but that'd cause casualties somewhere in the dimension. Without fuinjutsu or dimensional means, Maneku doesn't have an immediate solution. Well, Maneku's oni could be stuffed with the fireworks if they weren't considered weapons.

Avoiding a suddenly-shivering oni, Maneku doesn't enact this potential to his summon with great sensory. Maneku has disagreements in morals with his allies, but he can see the merits in disabling things calmly. Maybe the fireworks can be taken for later. Upon thinking of embezzling, the residents look at Maneku oddly while things die down, and the comical old man feels like it's time to leave. With Yamato having the expertise and disposition of clean disposal, Maneku has no more purposes to pursue here. The preservation of nature for the future is a worthy and intricate justice that Maneku doesn't want to help the dimension with.

"I'll swing by, it's been nice working with ya'll. Hopefully our names align once more." Noting after a sweaty soaking of his old dolly strings, Maneku found himself swinging back to where he was before in the original dimension. Now richer, and now experienced.

Yohei had about sixty-eight baby mama's waiting for him. All lined up and ready for the samurai. No, time was ticking but the boys called me to drop one a thick one. Yohei quickly typed up the remaining words that needed to go. These man's typed up a whole essay I don't think I can even respond to quickly due to the time limit I have. But it's understandable since Yohei did his job, a very easy job. Now he went home thinking of his next mission, prepared. Yohei closed his eyes and entered the world of the wonderland, grateful.
