Photo Lackey & Cat Wrangler

Seems like Shin’s luck on finding some easy missions to do for the day was coming through as he located two more missions to take care of while he was out and about though from reading the slips he figured it might take him a bit longer then expected more so for one of them then the other. One mission called for help by a photographer of some sort that needed an assistant to help them with setting up the various equipment and things needed for a Photo Op. The other mission called for help with tracking down and catching a cat that the owner needed to take to get it its check up, which normally didn’t sound like a pain or anything but due to the owner seemingly being some rich client that lived in the village the house was pretty much a mansion and it could take some time to locate the animal and then coax it into letting Shin grab it.
 
“Alright lets take care of the cat first then head over to help the photo guy.” Shin decided as he thought that it would be best to take care of the mission the might take the longest depending on how stubborn the cat was compared to the mission that had a set amount of time that he would be working with the person anyways. So Shin took the slips with him and began the trek to the client’s home to attempt this cat wrangling. Annoyingly the client lived on the other end of the village and it took some time to reach it, though Shin wasn’t annoyed about having to walk there as he enjoyed physical activity of all kinds he was more annoyed with how long it took to get there as he was trying to do this in as little of time as possible and he knew that he would have to trek just as far to get back to where the next mission was at. Sighing deeply he knocked on the door readying himself to meet whoever couldn’t coax their own animal out of hiding.
 
The door opened and an young man looking roughly about the same age if not younger then Shin stood there in the doorway looking up at the tall Uchiha, “Can I help you?” The boy said with an annoyed look on his face. “I’m here to help locate and catch a cat.” Shin said as he produced the slip to the younger boy who looked it over and the look of annoyance went away and was replaced with a look of joy. “FINALLY!” The Boy shouted as he ushered Shin into the house without a moment’s hesitation, Shin allowed the boy to drag him along. It wasn’t till they got into the back of the house on the first floor that the boy stopped pulling. “Ok Sir Whiskers is in this room and refuses even the most delicious of food we put out. I know he knows that we are going to the doctor but we have to make sure he is healthy.” The boy said a bit upset but resigned to making sure his pet was healthy and taken care of. “Coax him out however you need but don’t harm him or the furniture in the room.” The boy said sternly.
 
“Very well sir. I will be but a moment.” Shin said with his constant smile as he entered the room and closed the door behind him making sure that the animal didn’t escape through the opened doorway. Shin spent some time looking around to find the stubborn cat and while looking under one of the cabinets two eyes looked back at him. “Ah I see you must be Mr Whiskers.” Shin said with a soothing voice. First Shin took the time to reach under the cabinet and slowly get the cat use to him by petting and talking to him. Once the cat was purring he slowly worked his hands around its body which was a bit of a pain as he was laying on the ground but regardless he was able to get the cat in his grip and he slowly inched it out from under the cabinet. Making sure to keep a safe and firm grip on the cat he called for the Client to come retrieve his cat. The boy rushed into the room with a traveling case and Shin put Mr Whiskers inside the cage locking it. “Thank you so much.” The boy thanked Shin as he signed off the paperwork for the completion of the mission and showed him out of the house as he went to take his pet to the doctor for their check up.
 
Shin waved at the boy as he left with his pet and began the trek towards the place where he would be helping the photographer. It took a bit of time but he got there eventually and introduced himself to the young woman that was the client for this particular mission. “I just need you to move these pieces equipments to the places marked out and help get things packed up once we are done.” She said quickly as she pointed out the various marking on the ground. Shin nodded his head and began to work immediately as this one would be a job that was suppose to take most of his day more so due to the length of the photo op in generally. He knew that there would be plenty of downtime as he waited to be called to move or pack up things as needed. Shin was enjoying himself as all he needed to do was use his body and keep out of the way which was easy enough for the young shinobi.
 
Shin was wondering how peculiar it was what kind of missions that Shinobi of the village were sent on and the wide spreading umbrella that seemed to cover all them. So far he had caught a cat done some patrolling, field work, got a check up and so much more. It was a strange interaction when thinking of what Shinobi were believed to be doing when you’re an academy student or normal villager. Though the time passed by quickly and soon it was time to pack up the equipment and have the woman sign his slip for the completion. Once Shin had gotten that taken care of he waved to the woman and began to make his way to the place where he needed to go to turn in the slips to get his rewards. It was just another day of missions and it had been a fun little day for the young Uchiha.
