Coming In

The journey had been a struggle for Youka, the entire time everything had seemed to drag as if they were being pushed back each time they attempted to take a step forward. Finally however they had reached what some would call the "great" gates of Konoha, to Youka it represented everything wrong with the world that had continued to grow. He watched as hordes of civilians and ninja alike flowed from the village gates and more entered through various checks. The moronity of it all, the big walls, the lock and key structure of it, ninja were meant to be quiet, covert, secretive in nature, but never like this, never clumped up and hidden away keeping all their power to themselves. Times had changed, the world was supposed to move with the times yet this world seemed to stand still repeating the process over and over again. A heavy sigh escaped his lips as his persona kicked in of the elder man he was supposed to be mimicking now, his back hunched, his face still covered by the robe hid his stringy red hair and disfigured face from the crowds of people bumping into him as they passed by shoulders brushing and colliding with his own as his small frame took the brunt of the force pushing him back. He could tell today might have been a busy day in particular for the village as village ninja were also coming and going in groups of three's some he presumed going on missions while other were returning. The village civilians were coming through with the wares they had more than likely picked up from their travels as well trading with other villages, it was all almost too much for him to be able to take in.

Each step that he made to get closer to the gates where the ninja, or at least he assumed were ninja would check their ID's to see if they would gain entry into the village. Maku would be beside him or wherever it was hard to still pick the man out with his new attire, it didn't make it any better that his chakra was being lowered to zero due to chakra suppression to fully give the full effect that he was a simple elderly man traveling the world to see the villages while he was still mobile enough to do it. Reaching the front of the crowd he'd hand over the falsified documents to whoever it was checking them. He'd pull back his robes hood to reveal the same picture attached to the documents showing the broken skin on his face and hanged cheek where skin had been removed. His teeth were jagged and chipped slightly the yellow showing in full color. He'd give a small smile to the person checking his ID or whatever was needed he'd provide.

Falsified Documents:

After what seemed like an eternity of Youka handing out his documents and the guard looking at them? Or not he couldn't really tell and didn't make eye contact for the most part. There were few words exchanged and maybe the guard was just going through the motions of checking and letting people in and out of the village. Putting his id away again the elderly man would hobble his way forward to the gate entrance to go through and into the village. His slow stride feigning weakness of his joints as he continued forward into the village. If no one stopped him he'd make himself a part of the ingoing crowd of people ensuring to stick close to other civilians as well as they walked in. He'd make small talk with a little child and it's mom as they were also entering the village. If anyone stopped him he'd obviously halt his movements and entertain whoever it was that attempted to impede his progress into the village with a confused look on his face.

MN rule -Before entering a village, a Missing-Nin must make a topic at the village gates and wait for 24-hours to pass or until someone replies before you are allowed entry. Should 24-hours pass, you can claim entry into the village. However, if you choose to do so, it could get you into trouble with the village.

According the Rules found here Entry into a village is 48 hours not 24 hours. The ruling that you are trying to use are from a page that is not updated to reflect what is current in the rules. Your entry will be approved 48 hours time should no one stop you.

The rules updated as of Apr22 aren’t up to date? Or is it just an oversight?

The rules i have referenced were updated as of Last month on the 24th. The Dual Rank rules in which you are seeing the 24hr ruling for Missing ninja is out of date and does not reflect the actual timer for all characters. The World of NRPG have the updated and latest travel rules which are used by everyone. Sorry for the confusion if you used the Dual Rank rules instead.

With news of the Hoshigakure invasion spreading, the reason why the Hokage had to end his visit to the Land of Haven prematurely, the higher ups of the village had decided to increase the security at the village gates. "Of course now of all times I overslept" the Sarutobi cursed, almost having forgotten that it was his time to assist with gate guard duty. "Hurry up, we'll be late". A female voice called out to him, Ryuza picking up his pace as he ran towards Shikako. "I know, I know. I'm sorry". The two of them made their way to the entrance, expecting yet hoping the amount of travelers trying to visit Konohagakure would be limited.

Upon arriving Ryuza noticed plenty of people waiting to enter the village, the Sarutobi apologizing while at the same time requesting everyone to step back and wait their turn. "Alright people, everyone out. Please form a line and prepare your papers. The sooner you follow these instructions, the faster we can get you through". In the meantime the kunoichi of the Nara clan had taken place behind the counter, preparing her paperwork to keep track of everyone entering and exiting the village. Should those part of the crowd listen, they would now be standing in a perfect line, ten meters outside of the village with the Sarutobi guard waiting at the entrance.

Earlier that day, the current Deputy had prepared to go out, placing his hand on the ground as he could use some company. Goto would try and improve the bond with Fenrir, the stubborn and proud wolf who'd have trouble admitting to having a human as a friend. Once summoned, both of them would head out and start walking towards the village entrance. "See, I told you it wasn't so bad" the silver haired would smile at the adult Cedar. "Shut up kid, keep walking". Grumpy as ever, yet allowing the Senju to keep his arm around his shoulder, Fenrir would follow his summoner to the village gates.

Interesting, just as soon as this steep seemed finished there was a hold up at the gates. It was nothing that he could hear himself through the crowds of people being pushed back but the new requests that were being made of them all traveled back to him in stride. Apparently there would be another check of documents this time presided by one person for incoming and out going. A singular line for each was to be formed and they would continue the process as before. This was not the konoha of the past Youka thought to himself as the crowd backed up pushing him further from the entrance almost back to the very place he had started when walking up to the village due to the sheer volume of people not needing to be processed again.

He mused to himself that perhaps things had changed since his time in stasis, rules were being enforced, actual village ninja were standing guard ensuring their citizens remained safe but also orderly, had this been the case years ago those children that he had openly abducted might still now be alive. Has the times changed that much, he’d both acknowledge that the village has grown and seemed to learn from their past while also grimace at the knowledge that now might be as far as he pushed his luck attempting to enter. Even he wasn’t brazen  enough to needlessly force an interaction with an alert village at their gates. He has come to see if it was just as easy as before and maybe test the waters just a bit bit now he’d seen the process and knew what to expect in the inside as well if this was any indication. Moving through the masses as they all pushed back and the incoming and out going lines combined in the confusion of the new order he’d mix himself and switch over to those now leaving being about twenty or so meters from the gate check again and thirty from the singular male or whoever it was that now barred entrance.

With the information gained he’d exit back into the borders among the others leaving effortlessly melding with the groups as he hobbled his way out. He’d have to find Maku and repeat what has happened if the man wasn’t already in the village. If he has seen What he’d seen they both agree that the village hadn’t remained stagnant and maybe didn’t need to be assimilated into what they were doing but he’d leave that call as he had said before up to his friend.

(Exit back into the borders, no one lets me do anything fun)

Joining the member of Root almost at his exact position, both Goto and Fenrir stood two meters behind him, slightly to Ryuza's left. "Sir" the Sarutobi would politely nod, noticing how those trying to enter the village complied to his request as they had started forming a line while preparing their identification papers. "Don't mind me, just taking this one out for a walk" the Senju referred to the grumpy wolf, his arm still firmly around its shoulder. He'd watch how the masses separated, one group trying to set foot inside while the other went in the opposite direction. The silver haired youth, using his free arm, signaled Shikako, the female Nara having no trouble understanding what she had to do. "Ryuza, head back and give the Hokage an update, it hasn't been that long since his return so surely he would like us to keep him informed at all times". Nodding once more, the Sarutobi would leave things to the kunoichi as he began to head back inside the village.

With the lines perfectly formed, one for entrance and the other to exit, Goto encouraged the wolf to continue their walk. "Do you think you can keep up with me or are you starting to feel your age catching up?" he joked much to Fenrir's annoyance. Those unaware of his identity would just see a teenage boy simply taking his companion for a walk outside. They'd keep a couple of meters behind the group that exited the village, for now coming to a halt ten meters from the gates at where the line originally started. Should nothing out of the ordinary happen or require his attention, both the Senju as the Cedar would wait a couple more minutes before turning around and heading back inside.

Isolated, far-off from the brouhaha of the village gates the Demon emerged - behind, 15 meters from the man that turned heels, Youka. He was blended within a group of transients, yet there was subtlety amongst the band. Crimson eyes, home to an unique pattern audit the group, densely, fixedly. Chakra…the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan owned the trait of enhanced vision, bestowing its user the competence to see, and to process chakra flow. So much so that one could even see when a chakra mass is being disturbed, or in this case…obscured. Queerly, the Demon displayed an entertained expression, soft smile. Vigilant in his theory to consider that someone was masking their chakra signature. Not an easy, or rather common ability. The normal person couldn’t do such a thing, even if they tried with all their might. It takes training. Chakra is the essence of life, and even the weakest of all beings carried a mass of chakra that he could see. All but this one. 

“Running away? Forgot to cut the stove, perhaps?” Facetiously, he asked, his gaze immovable on the one concealing their chakra. To someone with the Sharingan, chakra mass coats the body of the one they are looking at. It wouldn’t be, or was difficult to see in between the gaps of the group to see one was missing their coating. By this time, he was singled out, still 15 meters away. The civilians that he blend with should have stepped away, seeing a Demon with red eyes and black scleras would do that to a crowd. 

Takara was far from the gates, somewhere safe and sound. He had to make sure of this due to what he glanced at before returning. “Let me guess, change of heart?” He continued, only this time his expression was rather mischievous.

Stepping down into the valley past where the entrance into Konoha formerly began and it's lines formed Youka was now among the group of travelers or ware sellers he didn't really know moving back into the forest that surrounded the village. It was a decent sized mob of people and the same little boy and mother that he had moved with to keep the disguise of an elderly man with his family. Apparently however even that wasn't enough to keep him from being spotted as a voice called out from the distance of fifteen meters away(almost 50 feet btw lol). Youka had it in him to ignore the voice and keep moving with the crowd as the man hadn't yelled or spoke in any way that had intended to allow sound to travel in a group. Sure some might have stopped but his question over others speaking and the natural noise from a wooded area, there were so many variables. However all of that would have simply drew more attention to the already tense predicament he had found himself in and as the crowd separated as each person looked at each other in confusion as to who exactly the man in the distance was speaking to Youka's grip tightened around the boy that was helping him walk on the dirt path.

Turning to face the distant voice he'd keep his grip of the teenager as his mom looked in worry as she attempted to get his attention to come to the side as well to avoid whoever or whatever it was that was beckoning. His body righting itself as he stood up forming the arch in his back allowing him to regain his full height. As always he wasn't one for chatter, even more so now that he had been found out inside of what could potentially be enemy lines. He'd turn to whisper something into the boys ear, and a few seconds later the teen would speak, voicing what he had been told to say and ask " Umm...ah...he says, there was no point in waiting..and um..also" Panicked the teen would glance back before speaking again. "What do you want?"
