Mission Details:

The brimming, chirping sounds of the birds right outside of her small shabby window gave rise to Ryumi’s eyelids splitting from each other. The slight pains of her charred arms pinned her to the bed for a moment. The small bits of sun bleeding into her room only left her feeling more annoyed. Remembering that today was the day she had to replace her own shabby bloodied bandages. Her previous ones dangling from the small rusted hook in the corner of her small room. The silk darkened and stained from the amount of blood that’s always on them from her constant amount of wounds from training. She hated the soreness and searing pain from getting up in the morning. Finding it hard to ignore how the house always smelled like worn coal over dead wood. However she could only give a small smile, noting how she could hear the soft snores passing through the walls of Lloyds room and into her own. Rubbing the small hints of sleep still left in her eyes. She hastily grabbed her outfit and pants, quickly slipped then on. And left the house to go do some simple E-Rank mission for some decent work.

Yet while walking, Ryumi’s eyes grew dull and drowsy, suddenly closing them for a single moment. She could feel a sudden spike of warmth shroud her body, her exposed hands and skin hating the sudden and intense heat. Ryumi’s eyelids parted ways once more as she was in a completely different location than before. The sounds of feet stomping on… sand! Her boots were already covered in the pale grains. Children were running across the shoreline right before the crashing of waves just besides them. The frothy sea was something that Ryumi had not ever actually seen beforehand in her sheltered life. However the sight of it was honestly beautiful, how the sun casted an almost enchanting life on the entire beach and sea itself. Just as Ryumi was admiring the waves, a child had run up to her from a few meters away. She felt a small tug on her jeans that pulled her right out of the enchanting few that the ocean gave her. Her scarred face slightly shocked the child, his eyes widening in surprise at her appearance before she asked him in a small, sweet voice.

“Do you need something from me?” Her voice was strawberry sweet in how she delivered each syllable. Wanting to make sure the child was at least comfortable in talking to her. His body swayed slight at Ryumi’s words, before gesturing over to the sand castle.

“I need help building a supa’ cool sand castle! Could you please help me!” Ryumi smiled at how polite the child was, giving him a small ruffle of his hair before walking back with him to help with the sand castle itself. Ryumi did get a few strange looks from their parents, but it only made sense. She did look rather suspicious with a child in tow. Yet she acted calm with him, guiding and helping compact sand to make a pretty cool sandcastle for the small child.
