Heading to the Leaf

And so, the journey begins once more.

Going from one place to the next under the guise of simple traveling, sightseeing if you will. Eyes were locked onto Tanbogakure’s neighboring country to the south, the Land of Fire. There was no real end goal currently in doing this, just moving about to start up a plan that had years of planning going into it, and now they’re finally coming to fruition. The first step in this was actually to separate ones which could theoretically coincide with one another all under the main ideal of power; both personal and external. Hiko, the Shimadan scorned Tau from the village of Kumogakure, knew this. In order to get anywhere with what he wanted to do, more missing nin would be needed to complete the tasks which lie beyond the brush.

Personally, the youngin knew that he would need a boost of his own, self power. With the current state of things, there was no way in hell that anything could actually be completed with this current state of affairs. And to simply put it, gaining this was much better done with others. Not only did it make trainings easier and everything of that sorts, but it would also allow for actually learning from someone else. As much as he hated to admit it, Hiko was fully aware of the fact that learning techniques and all sorts of knick knacks of the sorts just came easier when being taught them by another shinobi or kunoichi instead of it being self taught. Plus, who knew what other things might come along with that; the possibilities were practically endless of what could go down.

On that same coin, just flipping it to the opposite face; there was the necessity of also finding other like minded people. Criminals, rogues, thieves, madmen, marauders, and other sorts who would most likely be labeled as a motley crew of outcasts and bandits. All would be welcomed into the sweet brace of madness which would lead them down an intriguing rabbit hole of dismay and chaos. There was something that needed to be found within the depths of Brigand’s Burrow. Something ancient and malevolent. Something which almost called to the lad within his dreams, as if there was an insatiable hunger of a beast in a cage wanting it’s sweet escape. What was calling, was still entirely unknown and left up to chance. Regardless, whatever it was, seemed to have some extent of great power which would needed to be matched somehow. Once this would be found, phase two of taking over the world of the shinobi could then proceed, but until then, there was still the long and winding road of insanity which needed to be traversed first.

Sunlight had already proceeded with it’s delicate art of setting into the pale night sky. What once was vivid and vibrant, becomes ensnared in the throes of shadow and gloom. Sounds proceed to change, further indicating this natural flow of time. Instead of the chirping birds flying from branch to branch, a lone owl could be heard hooting off in the distance. A bumbling buzz of bumblebees and consistent cacophony of cicadas switched to that of cheerfully chirping crickets. Frogs kept croaking, but many more joined in to harmonize as the night rapidly begun to approach. Every now and then, the feint red fur coat of a sly fox could be seen beyond the trees, even it’s cousin the wolf could be heard tonight.

All was calm and made for any other regular evening. Except this time around, it was dusk in a different country. After a few hours of constant walking due to the inability to feel pain or fatigue, Hiko had finally crossed the border of Rice Country into Fire Country. It had certainly lived up to it’s reputation so far; even during this hour the forest was absolutely marvelous. It was an awful shame that it was more likely than naught that something would eventually happen to it. Not even mother nature’s grasp could outrun death. At least, for now. If things went well in the grand scheme of things, hopefully the traveling man could fix that. A long term goal to say the least; immortality. Only then could Hiko be able to see to it that his spider’s web on the world and remain. A web to reel things back into how it should be; chaos and despair. But alas, enough of the talking, it’s time to weave.
