Another two tasks were dished out to the two genin. They would try their luck at pulling down some posters, then head out on an excursion to investigate some water contamination on the border.
Iesu stepped out of his apartment, the sunrise just beginning, and headed down to the market plaza. A merchant had decided to rebrand and wanted them to take down some of his old posters. Iesu arrived early. By the time he did, the sun rose and merchants were mid-unpacking their stalls and storefronts. He looked around and only saw fat men looking forward to their days of haggling and overcharging, but no sight of his partner yet. May as well get started.
He rounds about the plaza, this merchant was well off and snagged a prime location for his stall at the outer edge facing the more residential part of the village. This is the one. The man was fat, but wore well fitted linen garments, had a wart on his nose, and was slightly balding. He did not look up, but eventually noticed Iesu stood there for a few seconds. And upon eying him down, spotted his headband, "Oh, yes, yes, yes. I was expecting you. I have a lot of outdated posters around the market. Please go and collect them, throw them out, no need for them anymore." He noted some locations with some points and descriptions, but otherwise said that there's a few that he forgot about and if they see them, to take them down. "Oh, and hope you have someone else coming, it will take a while and I want these posters gone before the mid-day rush."

Cyrus had a rough start to the morning. He had been restless all throughout the night, intermittently waking up for, no particular reason. This led to him oversleeping, and missing the time when he was supposed to begin his mission. After performing his morning routine at an exigent pace, he rushed over to the meeting spot, and saw a tubby man waddling away from his partner Iesu. Cyrus greeted the younger lad with a grin and asked him for the rundown on the mission, after apologizing for his tardiness. Apparently, they were tasked with removing unwanted posters that were plastered on the walls of the surrounding neighborhoods.
"You think it would be quicker to split it up, half and half?" Cyrus asked his comrade. The two boys looked at a map of the streets nearby, and decided splitting up would indeed be more efficient.
Cyrus ran at a smooth gait, dividing his section of the city into columns and going down them one-by-one, snatching every poster in sight. After the 3rd or 4th street he began to break into a sweat, but the prideful side of Cyrus didn't allow him to pause and take a breath. If Iesu were to finish his section first, Cyrus would feel as if he lost, and he wanted to win. Motivating himself to ignore his labored breathing, Cyrus ran down the final street and made his way back to their original spot. To the dismay of Cyrus, Iesu was already there, seated on a crate. He looked up and smirked at Cyrus, "Are you always late?"
