Unexpected Reunion

The day was like most for Raiden, he awoke, putting on his shinobi gear. However as he ate breakfast and walked out of the house today, he felt as if something was not right, yet everywhere he looked everyone seemed to be just fine, more so than they had been in some time. Others even seemed to give a feeling at peace, yet Raiden could not let go of this feeling of unease. Sadly for him he would have to shake off the idea as he would go about his day today. Today was his day to go out shopping and restock on his goods. However as he walked around, he found a particular brand of whiskey, he could remember sharing with his Father and Brother once long ago. While Raiden had given up drinking, his gut told him to buy the bottle, and so he would. He would check out and head home to put his stuff he bought that day away.

Raiden would look at the bottle that he left on the counter next to the fridge. Raiden sitting at the table in his kitchen , he wondered what compelled him to buy that whiskey. It was not the normal impulse of wanting to drink after being dry for so long. It was not even for the nostalgia he felt from such a thing. Yet he could not put his finger on why. Eventually he would get up and walk away, continuing the rest of his duties for the day.

The next day for Raiden , he still felt the off feeling in his gut. As he walked out of his room, he would stop and stare at the bottle of whiskey on the counter. He did not dream himself buying it, there it was. Raiden would shake his head as he would walk out to the grove of Sunagakure for the day. The woods was always a nice place to help him free his mind of the demon that plagued him. It had been some time now since his demon affected him. Eros kept silent most days now. However even Eros could not help himself today. He would speak to Raiden, letting him know he did not like the feeling he had. It would seem even Eros sensed something was off and yet could not pinpoint it. No matter how much Raiden walked around the woods, it did no good to rid himself the feeling.

That was when Raiden would bring up his father to Eros, and asked him about his fathers demon. There was not much known about it, Eros knew its name was Nike, and apparently his father could call great power from the demon, but who knew how much of it was by force, and how much of it was the demon taking control against his will. So Far Raiden had been able to keep Eros at bay from forcing his way out upon others. As Raiden was lost in this feeling, he was beginning to feel warm...But this warmth was only felt one other time. His Fathers Amaterasu that was supposed to set his body ablaze, yet before the fire could eat through the casket, Raiden had escaped.
