Raid on the Lord of Beans [Mission | C]

"A hidden room is a good bet," Kaden said. "It might not be on this floor, but we might as well try searching. Reina, check around the door. Ben, there are some bookshelves around the west side. I'll check the east side." Then he turned to Isshiro. "Mind checking the stuff along the north?" Kaden pointed the the wall opposite the door. There were stairs going up along that wall, but Kaden was quite obviously pointing to parts of the room not up them, mostly around the stairs. Perhaps, though, there would be a sort of hidden trick in the staircase?

Ben had been sent to check the wall by the various people he had sensed. Or rather, closer in that direction. He wanted to protest, but no. Kaden was right. He was likely the best to go check, as he was one of the only ones here skilled at hiding himself in the way that was needed.

With a gulp, and an exhale, Ben walked over towards the bookshelves on the western face of the building, keeping as wide a space between himself and the door that he assumed led to the room with others that he could.

Ben would come up empty handed, as would Reina, and even Kaden. Would Isshiro find some secret?

In the depths of the building sat an assassin prone and listening silently as he waited for his brother to give the signal. Why did they take on this job was beyond him but he was a shinobi for hire and that meant whatever that fell on his plate would be taken. Slowly he would pull down the mask that had covered his lower face as he let out a small billow of air and smoke as he leered over to his brother with his yellow eyes. No words would come from the younger Hatake, but his brother would be able to pick up on what that meant exactly. He was getting restless. The two that would be exploring or trying to clear this place out were getting restless, and that meant soon they would leave. He refused to let a mark get away. After a few moments the mask would be placed upon his mouth and nose once more as he stood up and slowly moved toward the door they were behind. He knew where they were and that would mean he would need to be silent - something he was adept in. As he opened the door he would begin to head out, making sure the door would not creak. With each step he would continue to his mark, slipping into the room and into the darkest room. In the room itself he would be able to see one of the marks- Benjamin. The other he would leave for his brother to deal with, but for now he would finish this one, swift movement. Moving forward he would grip the hilt of his Katana with his left hand and dash forward. He would be 5 meters from Benjamin and once he was 2 meters from him, he would unsheathe and take the head of the male should he not be stopped. The last thing his mark would see is a flash of white light before all went dark. The splatter of blood would fill the room before falling silent. Waiting patiently for his brother, he would collect the body and place it upon a bit of kindle wood and prepare a bonfire to get rid of the evidence.

Patiently waiting for an opportune moment to strike Moriya remained hidden among the bodyguards, the Hatake having taken on a false identity to further conceal his true intentions. One of the targets, Isshiro to be exact, walked from the table to the shelf and back again. As the man was pacing back and forth, from the table towards the left shelf to be precise, the silver haired swordsman firmly gripped the weapon on the side of his right hip. Wasting little to no time he would finally act, his aim to end the life of the ones that came looking for the treasure. 

The silver haired warrior radiated deadly killing intent aimed at Isshiro who was standing four meters in front of him, slightly to the left. Subsequently, the Hatake rushed forward at tremendous speed, the tip of his katana pointing directly at its target. Successively, the blade would extend with a dense white color covering both the weapon's edge and the extension, piercing the Sarutobi's heart should everything go according to plan.

And so it was foretold. The blade would slice through tendon, meat and bone as the head went flying through the air and the body remained standing. With his free hand, his right hand he would catch the head from the air and hold it by the hair as he pushed the body over. A small slump could be heard from his end as he continued with his actions of building a pyre but then he thought of something. Maybe the bodies would be of some use later down the line. Instead of igniting the fire he would drag the body back to where his brother had been to see if he had been done with his end. After the two were done he would leave out the same way they came in. Today had been a success and now he would clean and sharpen his blade to get ready for the next bounty.

It appeared the target was unable to get out of harm's way in time, Moriya's attack successfully piercing the man's heart and ending his life in turn. The young Hatake rushed over to confirm Isshiro's death, not allowing himself to get caught in an unpleasant surprise. Once he was certain, the swordsman would retrieve the corpse and any other belongings before regrouping with his brother. This day had been a success and soon more would follow.
