An Invitation amidst the darkness (Hokage)

The night had been young as the Lord of the Leaf stood in his office and looked outward toward his home, his village. The red eyed male had no visible expression on his face as he pondered on the state of affairs of the village and the world as a whole, but nothing pleased him than knowing his home had been safe. He turned for just a moment as he heard and felt his Yuumei stirring, stopping him in his steps for a moment," Heavy is the head that wears the hat my little Lord of Fire," to which Ishimaru chuckled, unsure if his partner had been serious or joking. The softly glowing orbs moved to follow the movement of his Yuumei before he had heard something at his window and in his sense of situational awareness caused him to open it. A small bat with a letter flew in and perched upon his shoulder. A little confused the male who had just reared twenty would allow the bat to perch upon his finger as he took the leader and read it. The confused face turned into one of amusement as he sat the letter upon his desk and nestled the bat upon his shoulder so it could rest. Within one hand he would take a scroll small enough for the bat to fly with comfortably, and with his left a pen. In a neat, but quick stroke he would reply

"Well it has been many moons since someone has graced my village with a letter, i for one am pleased someone broke the droll silence. I am intrigued by your proposition and it has been a while since i have left the village. Let us meet under the banner of peace and merriment, i look forwrd to seeing you and your esteemed home. Do not worry about the boat, i will see you very soon upon your reply.

Ishimaru Shinkou, Hokage."

He would imprint upon the letter an FTG seal upon the letter and once the Chikage had responded in earnest he would leave. The foundation of a new village was interesting to him. It meant he could make new ties or a new enemy but for now...what to wear? Setting the letter back on the bat he would pet the bat and send it upon its way.

It came to the Demon’s attention that he was selected, appointed by Hokage Ishimaru to stand in his place at the up and coming summit with the newly spawned village - Ketsuekigakure. Formerly recognized as Funkagakure, in volcano country. Their recent establishments have been spread throughout the land in curious whispers. Yet, it would seem that those light breaths actually held some weight. A smile formed on the face of Aokidanza, as he stood within the chambers of the Hokage, reading the copy of the letter sent out and the response. Further reading the text scribed on the scroll there was a moment where the brow of the Demon would raise, slightly out of curiosity - “I am sure you are wondering who we are, what we stand for, and where we came from I can assure you that my home no longer exists, not that you would know of it” that intrigued him ever so much. In the account of that he himself lived quite a long life that even he forgotten his own age, and if he was to take a guess at the number he fear he would embarrass himself.

He would close the scrolls, setting them back on the desk. “Fine, I’ll do it myself.” He stated, as he sat at the desk, helping himself to the head seat. Retrieving a blank scroll as he inked a brush to reliever his response that would negate what his Hokage and brother sent.

“Remika Nagi, it is a pleasure to soon make your acquaintance. I am Senju Aokidanza, left hand of Hokage Ishimaru. First and foremost, I ask for your forgiveness as this letter will come with some pause. Lord Ishimaru will not be able to keep true to his promise in attendance to your summons, yet I will in his place. I can assure you that with me in his stead there will be no short of presence, perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Upon my arrival I will bring forth a gift, welcoming you and your people to the fold. I presume that emerging from the ashes of another village in the name of a new could come with room for new friends, should you allow it. I, too, am a survivor. I ignored my destiny once, i cannot do it again. Whether it be to unite the shinobi world under one banner, or to shred it down to its last atom. And then…create a new one…a grateful one. But I digress, I shall see you soon enough, until then…please hold this. And set it some place safe on the day of my arrival.

On a separate scroll the Demon would etch the Flying Thunder God Seal upon it after forming the seals single handed. The reason for this is so that he could transport himself from Konoha to there within a mere instance. Closing both scrolls he would summon forth a toad of chaos with multiple eyes, sores and poisonous discoloration. The toad appeared on the desk before him and the scrolls, with them in hand he would outstretched them to it. With its black tongue it would take them both within its mouth. “Off with you, to the volcano country. There will be a village there. Find its head and deliver those scrolls to them.” His orders were swift and so was the departure of the creature they were given to.

The Demon stood from the desk, returning the brush that he used to write his letter back to its holding. He would gaze out the window as he watched the creature dart at great speeds and distances. His mind ponders the events of this meeting. He was sure that this would be both entertaining and memorable…like all summits that came before it were. He chuckled softly as he thought back to the manner of text that this, Remika Nagi spoke in. He decipher that she was either as old as he, or close to his age. He would have to see with his own two eyes to be sure.
