A bad feeling [Village Exit]

Kazuyuki had a bad feeling about how the day was going to go, and he didn’t like it. He’d decided to take a long mission the other day, but something made him uneasy even as he prepped for an extended stay outside of the village. He didn’t know how long the mission would take, only that it would be a lot less boring than the typical D ranks genin were stuck doing when in the village. He wanted to get out of the village for a while.

Finishing his packing, the young man grabbed his mission scroll and left his house to make his way to the village gates. It was time to go, for a little while. He just hoped his cousin and his cousin’s wife would be safe while he was gone. God knew the man overworked himself too much when Kazuyuki wasn’t around to prank him. Regardless, he made his way to the gates, producing his scroll for whoever was on gate duty so he could be let out of the village. He would present the scroll to whoever was on duty as soon as he stepped up to the gates, tilting his head as innocently as he could manage.
