Into the Macabe (P. Kaito)

Uchiha, Kaito would find himself teleported with the SRAC thanks to his use of Kamui. The young man was still pretty beat up from the failed assassination attempt that he managed to escape, but he knew that he would be safe here. What he wasn’t looking forward to, however, was having to go back to the school at a later time and inform them of what had happened. With a sigh, Kaito took in his surroundings. He had somehow managed to land right outside the Sunagakure Center For Surgery, Research, and Development. Thankfully this was exactly where the newly appointed Fourth Kazekage had requested his presence, so Kaito would walk up to the entrance. The door was guarded by two members of the village’s Anbu Black Ops and were covered head-to-toe in gear so as to not reveal any hint of their true identities.

One of the individuals seemed to recognize Kaito and stood at attention as the Uchiha approached.

“Councilman, Sir!” He said, holding still like a statue. The action and formality directed towards Kaito sent chills down his spine. Looking at his exposed arms too he could see goosebumps rising from the surface. Never in his life had he been addressed with such formality as this, and while Kaito was accepting and appreciative of this, it was a bit nerve-racking to him.

“At ease.” Kaito said, holding up a single hand. His face would grimace at this as he still felt quite sore from his previous encounter, and the Anbu took notice of this as well.

“Are you okay, Councilman?” They asked in a concerned tone. “Do you seek medical attention at all?”

“I’ll be fine, thanks, but it is imperative that I speak with Lord Kazekage immediately. Him and I were to hold a meeting here together later today, so do you know if he has arrived?” The Anbu spoke into the earpiece that was barely visible thanks to the mask they wore upon their face, but a few seconds later they turned their attention back to Kaito and nodded. “Please take me to him.”

The Anbu with whom Kaito had been conversing with nodded and led the Uchiha into the facility. Soon enough he found himself within the bowels of the building and walking through medical sector. Kaito couldn’t help but gulp, realizing just how close he had been to coming here in a bodybag should he have died in battle. These intrusive thoughts would be wiped form Kaito’s mind, however, as he was guided to an a small room. He was directed to put on some sort of hazmat suit before entering, and once he was able to enter into the room he was greeted by the presence of Uzumaki, Musu; the Fourth Kazekage.

“Lord Kazekage, Sir.” Kaito greeted with a bow. “You have requested my presence, My Lord?”

Kaito would follow Musu and this Mr. Blue further into the research facility. He allowed himself to stay on guard, however, as this was new and unexplored territory for him. Added to that now was his duty to protect the Kazekage should the need arise, but nothing seemed out of place from what the Uchiha could tell. As Mr. Blue went glossed over the fact that this section of the SRAC had once been a small subdivision of the village's hospital, Kaito's interest was peaked.

Standing at attention, yet looking over all of what he could see, Kaito would be the first to speak up once Mr. Blue finished his statement.

"If Lord Third had thought it necessary to provide funding so that you could achieve your goals, might I ask of what your goals and research entails? And what risks are imposed by this research?"
