First Stop: Tanbogakure [Village Entrance]

The world was bathed in a soft golden light as the sun lowered closer and closer to the horizon. Kenshi had been walking since before dawn, but he had known today would be the day he arrived at Tanbogakure, the first planned stop on his tour of the world. He was greeted now with the sight of his destination: a multi-tiered village with a large castle at its apex. Kenshi took a few moments to take in the view before continuing on his way.

Workers from the rice paddy fields surrounding the village were making their way back to their homes in what appeared to be the residential district of the village. He fell in with the mass of workers and entered into the village proper. Before long, the workers had all returned to their houses, while Kenshi remained outside.

He glanced further up the sloping landscape to what appeared to be a walled off area. He had to assume that was where the shinobi of this village would be. With a deep breath, he walked up to the gate of the village, looking for anyone who might be willing or able to give him access to the village behind.

After a few minutes of standing out in the open, Kenshi still hadn't seen anyone that would allow him entrance. Maybe the rest of the village is closed for the day, he thought with a bit of disappointment. With a sigh, he turned around and begun making his way back outside the village. It would be a bit of a trek to get out past fhe sprawling rice paddy fields, but it would be better than spending what little money he had on a place to stay with no guarantee he would be able to find a paying job to recoup the cost.

As he made his way back out of the village, he reflected on his journey so far. He may not have been able to enter the village today, but it would happen in due time. In the meantime, perhaps his time would actually be spent better doing some more training. At the very least, he was sure that he would need to be able to stand his ground against a low-level shinobi and not simply hide and run away like he had done during his encounter with the shinobi on the way here.

Maybe it was actually for the best that he hadn't been able to enter the village today. Being on the road for over a week had left him without any time to keep up his training. If he set up a campsite nearby for a few days, he could make sure he was in top form in case there was some test of his ability that was demanded in order to enter the village. There very well might not be, but he still didn't have a very good understanding of how the shinobi village system worked. He definitely didn't want to take any chances. Besides, he thought wryly, it's not like the village is going anywhere in the meantime. It'll still be here once I feel ready to take the next step.

For clarity - this method of exiting a village during Warfare is not permitted but as the player has sub 150 stats and would be allowed to exit via the escape thread anyway, we made the decision to approve the exit.

Howdy folks, I'm going to keep this brief.

Kenshin Saito made a village entry topic in Tanbo. When their call to enter the village went unanswered for 48 hours, they had within their rights to automatically enter the village, as per the rules. However, they decided to roleplay the opposite, as if their character had been denied entry. This is okay. 

The exit of the character is approved.
