Rise (Missing Megami's Interrogation)

Megami had been taken to an interrogation room in Konoha. She had been humiliated in front of everyone! Now here she sat in handcuffs! To be interrogated by some guy she has never seen or met. Was coming home to Konoha really a good idea? She leaned over on the table lying her head down. Her forehead touching the cold steel of the table in front of her. She had heard many rumors of the things that are done to missing ninja! Megami took a deep breath, she was done running! It was time to do the right thing. She had been put down originally as kidnapped from Konoha, that was not really true, not in her case. She had a lot to explain and hopefully they would listen to her. At the same time she had a nagging feeling that maybe, just maybe she should say this was all a misunderstanding and go about everything as it originally was! Unfortunately, Megami had a conscience, something maybe most ninja don't admit to having because of you have one of those, well you might do things a little differently. If a mission calls for you to kill, but you see the target has a child, is old or pregnant or something to that nature, your conscience may stop you from doing such actions. But as a ninja you are taught to complete missions as they are given to you.
In this case, Megami's conscience was telling her to change her ways, but doing this would be hazardous. She knew what she had to do. And she was going to do it.

“The inmate is ready for intaking Captain Iscarot.”

One of the voices of the officers behind a pane of glass spoke to him. His silver eyes had remained fixed on the girl in the room for some time now after he had brought her into the building. He had no real sympathy for those who had deserted their home and had the same audacity to come back. Maybe it was safety or regret, either way it was not his job to assume nor to make judgement right off the bat. As he stood there, he would unbutton the cuffs of his uniform and begin to move toward the door,” Good. I will take it from here. Draft the report and send it to my office,” the sun kissed Ushitora would state as he opened the door from his end and walked maybe a couple of steps before opening the door Megami had been inside of. Closing it behind him, Iscarot would keep his eyes on the female as he came into the 15 meter room. The only things in the room beside the two people would be a 5 meter steel table, two chairs and the one window. In front of the empty chair where he would be sitting soon would be a folder, closed, and nothing else. Megami of course would still be cuffed albeit to the table in front of her. The only sounds made would be the light screeching of the chair being pulled back, and his sword being sat to the right of him. The silver eyes would remain on her as his hands opened the folder, and only after a moment would he look down and skim the contents of it.

“Name, Megami Kuoga. Female. Orphan. Adopted by retired shinobi Nakara Kuoga. It seems before your desertion of the village you were a Genin, interestingly enough. So what we would like to know however is two things. Why are you here and why did you come back? I shouldn’t have to warn you that the only answer I will accept is the truth and anything less than that will result in you missing key parts of your body. Now with the pleasantries out of the way you may speak,” the folder would be closed as he clasped his hands together and awaited the answer from the female, waiting with intense scrutiny to pull apart any lies he was told.

Megami watched the man enter the room. The room wasn't extremely comfy, but if you have to interview potential criminals, I guess it helps to make them extremely uncomfortable! Makes sense. She propped her elbows up on the table and leaned her chin on her hands as she listened to the interrogator speak. Well, it's now or never.
"In my clan their main focus is weaponry. But I always had a serious love for science. I was however embarrassed to tell my adoptive - no- they ARE my parents! Because I wanted them to be proud of me. I was better at concocting a science experiment than wielding wires! Not that I couldn't. I was amazing at using the wires. Well I met Sephora Kaguya-Hyuuga when I was in the orphanage, her and I became close, but pretended to be enemies so no one would know that we were actually working together. She helped me build my lab here in Konoha, it's underground. I have my sister Akki Senju completely in the belief that I am actually a victim of Sephoras like she was. She thinks I am innocent but quite the opposite! She's gullible and believes anything.
Sephora had transferred to Volcano village before it was destroyed the first time to live with her missing nin father and she and I began to communicate and plot a kidnapping. We were invited to her birthday party, and I suggested that she use melatonin and various herbs to knock us all out and keep us prisoner. Well she did it, and of course I used it as an excuse to stay and use her lab for various DNA testing. However it wasn't until I sadly met her ex boyfriend whom I will refer to as "paper boy" that I realized I was nothing more than Sephora's assistant! And I wasn't into that! So I left and came home to Konoha and even though I had my mind read by an ANBU member at the request of Jason Senju and Yensung Aburame, I knew how to seal off certain memories so they would think I was a victim.
I'm not running from this anymore, Sephora is a criminal but she didn't do any of it alone, I was in on all of it. And I can't live with that burden of guilt anymore! She offered to take all of the blame but I refuse to let that happen anymore. Too many people have been hurt and too much damage has been done! It's a lot of pain. I understand what I did was wrong and I know I need to make things right. I'm probably going away for a long time. I do want to say however I NEVER killed anyone! I came to Konoha to start my life over. I understand what I did was wrong." Megami felt a wave of relief was over her. But the anticipation and fear for her punishment was creeping in now. She should never have joined forces with Sephora but at the time it seemed like a good idea.

As he listened he clicked the pen he had idly sifting through what he had been told. He was no stranger to lies or throwing someone under the bus, but then again maybe she had been serious. Regardless of the fact he listened as his crimson settled on the female. After she had been done with her speech he yawned for a moment before setting the pen down and standing up,” My issue isn’t with some no named criminal that fooled you. It is with you. However, maybe the Lord Hokage may take pity on such a child if he feels it is within his plans. One thing is for sure you will be spending some time in this cell under a conclusion is reached for you. Your parents will be notified of your return and upon verdict you will either be released living. Or dead,” as he finished his sentence the door would open and another male would come into the room. The second male would whisper something into his ear as he nodded and stood up grabbing his sword in the process,” It seems I am needed elsewhere. The officer here will escort you to your chambers. Do behave because if you do not the next thing you feel will be the sting of my blade. Have a good night,” and soon after he would begin to leave out of the room and out into the village itself.
