Emilia had headed out with Anastasia towards the Land of Earth. Emilia agreed and it didn’t really matter to her either - which way they started. As they made their way towards the land of earth… about a third of the way there, they would find the body of a slain horse that was partially hidden from an obscure rock. Emilia had searched the area but there wasn’t really much in the way of footprints to go off of. They were just going to have to do some real searching and tracking on this one. Anastasia looked over at Emilia and asked if she wanted to continue for the day or wait until nightfall… Emilia agreed that waiting until nightfall would be best.

The two kunoichis found an area out of the way that would hide them pretty well, and they also would have the chance to scout around the area. Before Emi knew it, the darkness had rolled in and it was time for the two of them to head out. Ana had darted off ahead of her but still in sight, in case something had happened. It wasn’t long before they had a structural building in their sites - though it wasn’t any impressive… even from far away. Emilia had perched herself on a tree nearby to try and spot Ana who had slipped from her sight. She had thought that she saw her near the building but when she arrived, she wasn’t there. ”I guess dropping back a ways was not the right move here.”

The golden eyed genin moved inch’d her way up towards the structure - a little nervous to really get close, when she didn’t know where Anastasia was at. She didn’t really have a choice now and utilized her Ketsuryugan to see if she could see any chakra signatures nearby. As she opened her eye - the young shinobi’s field of vision increased significantly, almost immediately spotting three different people coming out the entrance of a cave. One was Anastasia and the other could only be the noble that they were after. The blood flow of the three was slightly abnormal… meaning there must have been a battle going on. Emilia was typically able to tell when something was happening now just by the blood flow of an individual. Their vessels were typically expanded in size which allowed for an increased blood flow.

”I need to get to them immediately.”


She hopped from the branch she was currently perched on and dashed towards the two individuals who seemed to be making their way back towards the camp that Ana and Emilia had just made. As she arrived at the three, Emi would apologize to Ana. She didn’t realize that hanging back to make sure that there wouldn’t be an ambush would create such a gap that she lost sight of Anastasia. Hopefully the young genin could forgive her and understand Emi’s thought process, even if it was executed extremely poorly on her part. She noticed that one was of course the noble, the other though was unconscious and wounded badly. Emilia offered to tie him up and carry him back to the village. She figured that Ana was keeping him alive for the leaders to take care of.

”Let’s get back to Hoshi and report a successful mission. Again, I’m sorry Ana.”
