[Normal Quinn Appearance]
It was not long before Quinn awoke and went about their day. Their proceedings were standard as they went about and simply conjured naturally in the Dreamscape before them. It was not until they took a step out of the Forge's building proper that they stopped and realized they were where they were. Staring upward towards the ethereal sea of dreams above them and at the end of the street that they came up with alone, Quinn pinched the bridge of their nose letting out an exasperated sigh as they grabbed their bat on the ready for whatever or whomever was to arrive or show up. They stood there silently for a while before moving their way towards the edge of the 'world' they saw. As they approached it they thought of the street that they knew the paths they grew up with and the adjusted growth of the village. Shortly the village before Otogakure formed began to form on the left, whereas the village as it stood now rose on the right. Creating a contrast of sight and vision Quinn simply continued on, symbolic of their drive and dedication to what was their home.
Eventually, the Forgemaster moved their way to the amphitheater of the village in their mind as they started to get a good understanding of how the process worked in this space. Conjuring items became simple in nature for them as an anvil formed before them. Knowing there should be others present in the space beyond what they have been able to make and likely lost in the sea of dreams, Quinn knew they needed to do something to get the others' attention. Thus a hammer in hand, a clang ranged out into the space before them and echoed beyond. The Blacksmith of Otogakure used their craft and made a name for themselves through this sound as they unleashed steady beats of the metal against the anvil to act as a beacon to gather the Otogakuran Shinobi to them. The worries that they had of others beyond their own were not a concern as they knew the space they were in was one of their own creation and thus was not something they could imagine someone else simply wandering into without notion of who they were. Quinn waited and forged in the amphitheater as the metal clanged against the anvil, symbolic of the euphonic notes made.

Things had finally began returning to normal in the village of Otogakure. Uchiha, Kaito had just returned from the land of dreams, once a barren landscape ruled over the the almighty Beelzebub. It was after an intense battle that the Otokage was able to come out on top before coming back to in his precocious village, and all of the rifts within it had finally began closing. As him and his student, Shokku, Raikur, exited from the hospital, they were met with much applause and cheers from those who had known of their presence there. Kaito smiled as he looked upon their happy faces, happy himself that the village was now safe from unwarranted harm again.
"My people," Kaito said from the top of the steps leading into the hospital proper. "The threat of the rifts and the monsters has been dealt with. You can all sleep peacefully now without worry!" Another round of applause echoed throughout the vicinity as Kaito walked down the steps, motioning for Raikur to join him. "Alright, Raikur." He said once they could actually hear each other away from the village folks. "I want you to get a good nights sleep tonight. We have a lot of work to do at Chikyū Prison tomorrow, Mr. Chief Warden." Kaito would await a response from his student before dismissing him and walking back home for the first time in weeks. By the time he arrived back home everyone else in the household was already asleep, so Kaito would simply go to bed himself on the bed in the living room.
The man would fall asleep without any hesitation or trouble, but how things would change in such little time...
A few hours would drift by as Kaito slept, snoring away as the world around him changed drastically. These changes would go unnoticed by the man, however, and by the time he would wake up in the morning all had still seemed quite normal. The only thing that seemed to standout was the fact that, by this time, nobody else in the household was home. Chalking it up to Hanzo and Tatsuya going out to train and Amaya heading off to the store, Kaito would head off to the restroom. He passed by the mirror above the sink without much thought, but he would quickly take a step back and stare into it wildly before letting out a scream.
"What the fuck!?" He asked, noticing now that he was covered in dark brown fur, his nose and mouth elongated into that of a wolf's snout, and his ears were now long and pointy above his head. It looked as though he had entered into his 'Animal Sage Mode', but how could he have done such a thing in his sleep? Had he somehow managed to gather nature energy within himself during his slumber? Trying to deactivate this perceived technique only ended up in failure, and Kaito realized that it was not an active transformation that he himself had initiated. Getting a fresh set of his normal outfit and a hooded cloak, Kaito decided it best to head towards the hospital to see if anyone could tell him what was going on. When he took leave from his humble abode, however, his eyes widened with shock. The village seemed to be completely remodeled in an unfathomable way. From the doorstep Kaito was greeted with a massive drop from the side of a mountain, and below him was the training ground, which was seemingly cut in half and replaced with multiple different shops and buildings that in no way had existed near each other before. Using his 'Body Flicker Jutsu', Kaito would swiftly make his way down the mountain and to the ground below. He was utterly confused and taken aback by the sight, and the clanging of metal upon metal caught his ears, which perked upright as the hairs on the back of his neck stood high.
'Quinn?' He thought, knowing that the sound was the same as the one from the woman's forge. Kaito made his way through the mess of a village until he could see the redhead sitting upon a beach of sorts. Her shop in its entirety was there with her.
"Quinn!" He said with a wave as he started walking towards her. "You're here too, huh?" Kaito lowered the hood of his cloak to reveal his wolfish appearance. "Its me, Kaito." To reinforce this, he would activate the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan that the Forgemaster had seen him use time and time again during the invasion of the rifts and monsters.

Re: The Sounds of Dreams [Event-Hallowen]

After the recent incidents in his village, finally things were sorted out and gradually the village and its people were getting back to their normal daily routine. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened so far, thus the daily routines were ongoing as usual. With everything back to the usual situation, Hanzo would proceed to train in his backyard with his katana forged by the forgemaster. As night began falling upon the tired young Uchiha, he would then proceed to wash up and lay on his bed thinking about the past incidents.
As he lied upon his bed, he once again felt a weird sensation. It wasn't something like that the village was under attack or himself being attacked, it was purely an uncomfortable instinct that made him feel cautious. Nonetheless, the due to extreme fatigue, the young Uchiha would fall asleep. As once again he felt a tremendous amount of evil presence, Hanzo would immediately sit up on his bed with a sweat dripping from his forehead. Hanzo had no idea what was going on and since he woke up in a shock, he decided to wash his face to clear up. He walked with his head down as he was still sleeping and put both his hands on the sink's edge. After yawning, he proceeded to look up to the mirror. A complete silence for a few seconds then came a scream "What the hell is this ? What happened to me ?". He watched in horror as he had a new face.
Hanzo had multiple eyes that were red and golden, and with weird maroon colored markings on his face and his red hair was longer. He lifted both of his hands of the sink's edge and began feeling his face and hair. Everything felt completely real. Fearing that he might have got trapped in a Genjutsu, Hanzo immediately activated his Sharingan which was active in his eyes that were in the middle, which were the original eye placement, and scanned himself and the area around him. Nothing was out of the ordinary and now, he was absolutely sure he wasn't under any kind of Genjutsu and deactivated his Sharingan. "This might be connected to the previous incident" Hanzo thought to himself. The young Uchiha had a feeling that others might be facing the same issue but didn't want to alarm anyone incase it was just him, so he went through his closet and found a hoodie that covers his head and if tied properly, will cover his face slightly, though he had to walk with his head down a bit in order to avoid the other two eyes on his cheeks. Once he adorned his hoodie, he would silently close the doors of his house behind him and walk down the street for investigation.
As he walked down the streets, he was stunned by what he was seeing. Everything was a huge mess, it was a like he was were part of a horror movie. The shops, items and locations were all around him at the same time. It was as if he was in a dream world, not a true world that he was currently in. Buildings and mountains were now mashed together, the ground and the top were somewhat kind of stitched and this made the young Uchiha understand that the issue that the team faced previously wasn't concluded. There were definitely issues that needed to be dealt with again. Hanzo wanted to locate the rest of the team and hoped they were alright and didn't face the same issue he is facing out of concern. The young Uchiha thought of visiting the forgemaster to see if they had any idea on what was going. As Hanzo had the memorized the forgemaster's chakra signature, he followed along and finally managed to locate the forge in the dream world.
The young Uchiha opened the door and entered to see two people inside. In that instant, Hanzo wasn't sure if they friend of foe, but he didn't want to alarm them. "Its me, Hanzo Uchiha" he would announce to them. As the man with the wolfish feature turned to look, Hanzo understood that it was the Otokage due to the active Mangekyou Sharingan in his eyes. "Otokage sama, looks like we have the same problem" Hanzo would say as he uncovered himself to show them his new appearance.

Quinn stared at the wolf-man and the six-eyed teen before looking back at the anvil and stood up to see the two have an eye-off of some kind. Hearing the words both spoke, Quinn gave a resolute nod towards them. "Guess I'm the odd one." They started to say as if they were simply themselves. It was odd to consider that they appeared in such a space that changed and warped perceptions, appearances, and the setting in which they found themselves. Quinn stared at the variety of changes between the trio present as they adjusted to grab their hammer and slung it back into its holster before turning to look at the two malformed individuals as compared to their own mental imagery that apparently had them stay true to their own thoughts. At least that is what Quinn figured was the case, it could just be that Quinn did not really dream of anything wild or outlandish. Very likely it was just that Quinn themselves was a simple person.
"Kaito. Hanzo." They started to look between the 4 pairs of eyes between the two of them before pulling out a piece of charcoal to put lines on their face to add to their own appearance. "Perhaps more to learn. Perhaps more to discover. Perhaps more to find." They riddled it back a bit, tapping the charcoal on their bottom lip a few times before pointing towards the series of mixed-up settings around them. "Land of Dreams I believe. Now Land of Nightmares." They commented on it before standing up fully to their normal height. Preparing for the worst, The Forgemaster unsheathed their bat and had it rest on their shoulder. It was unorthodox for sure but it was iconic enough to keep their minds focused on what was in front of them. Looking at their fellow genin and the Otokage, it was a series of potentially unfortunate events that were going to have to go through for the group of them. Eventually, they would need to explore and eventually, more monsters would arrive more than likely, yet Quinn was determined to trudge on through these encounters.
With pressing issues now, Quinn's body turned to wolf-man Kaito and gave a bow, "Good to see you resting." before turning to Hanzo and giving a thumbs-up, "Surely you see now. Believe it might prove helpful. Spotting monsters from afar." Quinn added in with a slight chuckle before turning toward the everchanging dreamscape as various details from the world of the waking stirred into the reality that was the Dreamscape Sea they were now in. With concerns and details needed to figure out what was going on, the Forgemaster awaited to see what thoughts Kaito had even with the current situation rising had more and more confusing pieces to consider and evaluate. Considering the dynamic of the space they were in, the likelihood of firm action was going to be interesting to weigh as more and more things shifted and changed to warp the surroundings more.
A heavy sigh escaped the lips of the Forgemaster before looking outward listening intently to the conversation between the other two. Should questions arise requesting their thoughts, Quinn would oblige. Their focus was split though as they looked outward towards the horizon they squinted their eyes and focused harder toward the imagery of what was best described as the formation of structures or other buildings. More pieces of Otogakure formed and came together into the form of various shopping center points mixed with the academy alongside the parks that the village supported and helped grow into what they are today. A sadness on Quinn's face was easily visible as they peered towards the everchanging dreamscape. A matter of importance was growing as Quinn's posture had them squat and pick up a well-worn teddy bear that materialized at their feet. Picking it up, Quinn helped strapped it to their hip.
"Much fear is here. We ought to act quick. Find out what we can. Finish this off." Quinn quipped at the duo before returning to their quiet stance. Awaiting to hear more of the two, Quinn spotted and pointed out more winged monkeys forming and flying towards the group.

Hanzo too would make his presence known to the Otokage and the Forgemaster, but unlike Kaito or Quinn, the other Uchiha boy would take on the appearance of a demon with six eyes; all golden yellow in color. Kaito had wondered if the boy had somehow managed to have become corrupted by the evils of the Land of Nightmares, which he had originally thought that he had quelled, but his adoptive son seemed to have all of his faculities in check quite well.
Quinn would make a point in stating that they would have to all work together again to figure out just what in the world was happening, and as the Forgemaster pointed off into the distance, Kaito could see yet more of the flying monkeys that had plagued the village of Otogakure no Sato up until recently.
'Damnit...' He thought to himself as he drew his katana from its sheath and activated his 'Glass-Release: Glass Wings' technique. Without hesitation he would take flight, feeling quite confident his his own abilities and the abilities of his subordinates to act in tandem with himself. The three of them had done wonders in dealing with the beats previously, and nothing would be different now despite their lack of home-field advantage. Not wanting to waste his Chakra too much as he had in previous encounters, the Otokage would refrain from activating his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Despite this he and the rest of the team would have no trouble in dealing with the creatures that had ambushed them, and once everything was wrapped up Kaito would address his two subordinates again.
"I'm not sure what in the world is happening here, but we are going to put an end to it here and now." Kaito would look both Quinn and Hanzo over, garnering their reactions to his call to action. "These occurrences have plagued us and the village for far too long now, and I'm certain that if we don't do our part as quickly as possible, then the entire world will be in danger. I've seen something like that before." Kaito thought back to the time when he, Lord Third Kazekage, and Sebastian Mikaelson had been transported into the Eastertide Fairgrounds and had been tasked with quelling a similar world-ending cataclysm. The Otokage and the world as a whole had survived that occurence, and he knew that with the combined efforts of himself, Quinn, and Hanzo that this situation too would come to an end without fail.
"Let's go see what we're dealing with, you two. Just let me know when you're ready to set out."
Kaito would wait for both Quinn and Hanzo to ready up, and once everything was ready, the Otokage would lead the charge through the mysterious and unfamiliar landscape that resembled in odd fashion their beloved home.
The trio would walk for what felt like an eternity. Everything was so different from what they had been used to, and this felt especially so to Kaito. He had helped to look over the construction of the entire village upon its founding, and everything was just so out of place and odd about it. The young man would not allow all of this to distract him, however, and he kept an open lookout for other things that seemed to be out of the ordinary. For starters,s there were a few people who walked through the world of dreams and nightmares without much trouble. They seemed to be going about their normal lives as they would in their walking lives. As they passed the location where the village's academy was the sound of disembodied laughter could be heard as many toys floated through the air, almost as though there were children playing.
'Are these people's dreams?' Kaito thought to himself as he looked down at his hand. He was remembering his last visit to the dream world in which he had fought a powerful demon. While in that world he had been able to conjure things out of thin air with just a simple thought of such things being a reality, and the man wondered if those same mind tricks would work here as well. Closing his eyes as the group walked, Kaito pictured that he had a spear in his hands. He thought long and hard, giving life and shape to the construct in his mind's eye until he could see it perfectly. After a minute, and with an exasperated sigh, the Otokage would open his eyes again to reveal that, in fact, the very spear that he had thought up in his mind had come to fruition. He paused his walking for a moment, examining the blunt weapon as he twirled it around. The object sure had the weight of a real spear, and as Kaito drove the pike at the top into the ground, it too pierced as though it were real. 'So it is like that time then...'
Kaito would turn to Quinn and Hanzo, unsure if they themselves had also experienced the revelation that Kaito had discovered for himself yet.
"Quinn, you were right the other night," He said as he showed off the spear he had created. "This world of dreams allows for us to create anything and everything that we put our minds to. This can really help us should the need arise." Just then a loud rumbling sound would erupt from the group's right side. Bracing himself, Kaito would draw the spear as he took an offensive position. Off in the distance, he could hear a low growling hum as a pair of crimson-red eyes stared at them all from the shadows. "Looks like its showtime, you two. Let's put these newfound powers to work, eh?"

Hanzo chuckled at Quinn's comment that he can see monsters from afar. The forgemaster had a weird sense of humor especially with how they speak which was always entertaining but nonetheless Quinn was formidable on their own. With the flying monsters on the loose again, the Otokage would activate his famous Glass Wings and combat the annoying monkeys with his katana. Not wanting to wait around, Hanzo would also use his right hand to reach for his katana, he would realize that he forgot to bring it. "Due to the nightmare I must have left my Katana at home" he would think to himself. Since these creatures are not tough to beat, Hanzo wanted to converse his chakra in case a stronger monster appeared.
Due to the darkness, the younger Uchiha would flow his chakra into his eyes and activate his Cat Eyes in order to have a good sense of sight during the battle. He would then proceed to flow his lightning element into both his fist and activate the Lightning Jab and smash every annoying flying monkeys on his path and paralyzing them at the same instant. Once the immediate threat was eliminated the Otokage would make an announcement to Hanzo and Quinn. The Otokage wanted this atrocious incident from happening ever again which obviously was agreed by the duo and they were ready to jump into the unknown landscape. "I'm ready Otokage sama, lets go!" Hanzo responded.
As they entered, the younger Uchiha could see that it was like their home back in Otogakure, but in an old fashioned manner. Not only that, the place had an eerie feel about it as well. They walked for quite some time which felt weird as everything was different. Some villagers were walking around like nothing happened, Hanzo didn't want to enquire them as he was afraid that the village would get into a chaos. The Otokage suddenly stopped and closed his eye and after a few seconds a spear was in his hand. "How did this happen ?" Hanzo thought to himself and before he could speak the Otokage explained that he previously had the same premonition and after thinking about it hard, something similar happened and he did that again. To prove his point, he even drove the spear down to the ground, making it absolutely real.
After the explanation, Hanzo would close his eyes like his Sensei did and thought of a sword since he didn't have one with him. With a strong mind and will to construct the weapon, when his eyes opened, a sword was in his hand. The sword was plated in gold with a sapphire built. "That's pretty neat and comes in handy" Hanzo would tell the team. As all these were happening, they felt a monstrous presence watching them and in that instant a loud growling sound was heard from the groups right side. As the Otokage hyped up the team with their new weapons, "Lets show them what the shinobi of Otogakure can do!" Hanzo would exclaim.

Re: The Sounds of Dreams [Event-Hallowen]

Quinn witnessed as the other two came together and assessed the situation itself more in depth. Kaito too to the sky, or better said the airspace above them. As the dreamscape adjusted as the trio made their thoughts aware of the situation, it was simple and easy to dismiss the tiny parts and pieces. Quinn's own thoughts were mixed with the factors that were presented before them. There was always something else to consider and something else to take into thought and it appeared to Quinn that Kaito was of the same mind. It was plain to see that the trio of them were going to take the fight to the end of the road wherever it may lead. To Quinn it appeared that Kaito had thoughts and memories of a time before, though no change in the space showcased it. Thankful for that matter of fact and hearing the commentary from Kaito, 'Let's go see what we're dealing with, you two. Just let me know when you're ready to set out.' Quinn would turn to see and assess Hanzo's set up.
It was plain to see that Hanzo was ever ready to proceed as always at Kaito's beck and call. It was an admirable quality to have in a shinobi and of one for the village of Otogakure. Giving a nod in affirmation, it was time to proceed. With their bat in their hand, they maintained a simple and relaxed stance though their eyes told a different story. There was a fierce determination present that could be seen through their red irises. The world around them shifted and changed as the came to a conclusion of acceptance of the fate that they were present in the world before them. It was only a matter of time for the trio to make dreamfall of some sort to where they needed to be. It was an uphill battle for the group and it was for sure a dangerous thing to worry about. The bat itself was as plain as it was in the world of the awakened, but for now it was a simple dreamtool at their disposal. Their commentary was appreciated and respected thus far and it was just a matter of time for what was to come for the trio to make their way into the depths of the Land of Dreams, now turned into the Land of Nightmares.
Walking for a long tenure of time, Quinn's own mind wandered from one subject matter to the next. There was a lot of concerns present when it involved the village's safety. They were steadfast about the support of the village and thus it was just another day doing their job. They were sill primarily focused about how best they could be of use in this moment. As multiple dreams of the villagers grew to be around the space, Quinn could not help but to linger and slow down. It was around this time that Kaito formed a spear into his hand giving it a solid test by stabbing it into the ground below. It was obvious that the Otokage was trying things out and gauging what could be done. It was there that Kaito gave an approving confirmation to what Quinn had vocalized. With his testing it gave a level of realism to the reality they found themselves in, in the Dreamscape Sea.
It was then that Kaito's recognition of something off in the distance came to light. Something was coming and it was just a matter of time before it needed to be dealt with. Typically Quinn was quick to act and the first to make a decision to attack but this time, Quinn's thoughts were muddled in their thought process as they riffled their mind like a catalog to the weapons they have made. Their bat was present but they knew there was more that was going to be needed in the general for future issues, perhaps a weapon that was built bigger than the bat was something in need for the Forgemaster like a massive cudgel but that was not what was going to be needed for now. There was more pressing matters to deal with.
Once the trio were prepped and ready the pair of eyes that Kaito pointed out came from the edge of the vision. A beast of red eyes opened more totaling an assortment of 16 red beady eyes with a main pair staring down the group. It's head arachnid in approach, but the body was composed of a multitude of scales and spikes coming out a reptilian body with paws and tail that was that of a large cat. Behind it more monsters and amalgamations of children's dreams were coming to life before their very eyes. Yet to Quinn that was not the scariest thing to consider. Out of the corner of their vision, they could see what looked like a silhoutte of something in the distance. When turning to see a better sight of it, it remained in the corner, lurking and waiting for its time to exist. Quinn took note as their focus and line of sight kept the monsters before them in their view. From there it was just a matter of execution now. With their breathing heightened, it was a matter of time to proceed in a violent manner.
As the creatures came forth, Quinn leapt into the air before bringing down a swift kick with their heel landing upon the first massive beast unleashing a concussive force in the air around them. As multiple creatures were caught in the crossfire, Quinn looked at the beast they initially hit and flipped from the force, using the bat to swing and hit the back of the creature's head with a swing that was simply put, a slugger. As Quinn disengaged from the creatures the air force that was left behind lingered as the creatures themselves were disorientated by the force. "Fire from range. I'll hold them here." Quinn announced to the other two as they took a more up front approach for the others to follow up. With a second swing of their other leg they created a secondary sphere of effect from their Willow Cannon technique. Their bat fluid as their swings remained as heavy as they normally were.
As the fight progressed the trio was sure to notice and realized the sight of the thing in the corner of their vision was firming in its coloration, saturation, or possibly substance. Quinn was unsure of how this really was progressing or working out as there was a multitude of monsters and creatures that were still coming towards the group. It was one thing after another and Quinn's techniques remained for a while before dissipating into the Dreamscape around them. It was an ever going battle that Quinn took the front position and when they finally got a solid hit onto their body from the leg of a creature that had the head of a bat, a body of an armadillo and then the appendages of an octopus, Quinn stood fast against the attack as they used it to grab the creature's arm and swing it upward into the ground behind the Forgemaster, its head breaking the floor and slowly it vanished into the aetherial space before them.
It was an ongoing fight that Quinn began to have issues with handling the woe of how to handle the fight. They were trying their best to maintain their position and keep as a gatekeeper of sorts to the other two but it was becoming obvious that they were at an impasse. They could not proceed forward at the rate they were going, somehow, someway, something needed to change the status quo. Quinn was keeping their sight on what was before them but their mind lingered on the body that was beginning to form fully in the corner of their sight. From the edge of the horizon, eventually after the fifth wave of creatures taken out by the group, it did not say in the corner of their eye this time as it began to take steps forward towards Quinn somehow forming between the duo taking on the others before it approached the Forgemaster. It was becoming a problem now that the situation that the group was facing kept changing right before their very eyes. Quinn simply commented now, "Shit..."

It would not take long for the beast off in the distance to begin closing the gap between itself, Kaito, Quinn, and Hanzo. The creature walked with heavy footsteps, which made the earth below their feet tremble and quiver as though it was sure to give out at any second in time, given it all had the right conditions of course. The Otokage's eyes, which had transformed into their impressive Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan forms without Kaito's noticing, widened at the sight of the monster.
'What in the fuck is that thing!?' Kaito asked himself as he took a single step back and drew his spear before him in a defensive manner. The set of crimson eyes that the beast yielded turned into a total of sixteen eyes as it maneuvered itself out from the darkness and into the light. It too sported the features of a rather odd chimera, with its tail and fluffy paws resembling those of a tabby cat and its body being covered in reflective and thick scales similar to a reptile. The thing was, however, that the beast also had a multitude of spikes that covered its entire body from head to toe. This was sure to be an issue should the Otogakure no Sato trio attempt to go on the offensive, and Kaito was well aware of this.
But everything, including monsters with home field advantage in a world of nightmares and dreams, was sure to have a weakness or two. The group would just have to figure out what these weaknesses were and how to exploit them to find victory in this battle, which was sure to be a massive and invigorating one when all was said and done.
Due in massive part to tapping into his innate Chakra Sensory abilities, the Otokage could sense a huge amount of Chakra oozing from the beast before him. He too, however, noticed something else. Positioning himself in such a way that he could see beyond the beast, Kaito gritted his teeth at the sight of what were perhaps hundreds more creatures, which were all similar in appearance and cold-bloodedness to what had previously attacked and ravished their precious village of Otogakure no Sato.
"Son of a bitch..." Kaito said under his breath, not sure whether Quinn or Hanzo would have been able to hear it or not. That simply would not matter as they all had much bigger things to worry about, but Kaito was still worried nonetheless. "I hope we're all ready for this..."
A quick moment of unsettling silence would befall the area around the upcoming battlefield before it was broken by a gut wrenching roar from the beast. Kaito wanted to cover his ears to deafen the sound, but he knew that if he did then he would without fail drop his spear, and that would never do. Instead, he would endure as all shinobi and kunoichi should in this type of situation, and just as he himself was preparing to act, he would be shown up by the village's most favorable and hardworking Forgemaster.
"Quinn! Wait!" the Otokage exclaimed as he released one of his hands from the spear that he had conjured up so that he could reach out to attempt to grab Quinn's hand to stop her in her tracks. As the village's leader, he feared the worst for one of his most prized genin, but the plea would fall upon deaf ears as the red headed women entered into the fray of battle. Kaito watched on in awe and aspiration as the Forgemaster brought down a swift and heavy drop kick upon the massive beast's head, making the monster roar in anguish and pain as an intense and quick rush of air and dirt flew in all directions around the epicenter, which was the kick brought upon by the Forgemaster. Many of the surrounding creatures were knocked back by the violent display of force, all crying out in a similar fashion to their now surely concussed and monstrous leader. Once such a creature would hurdle directly toward the Otokage, recovering itself just in time to open its ugly mouth in an attempt to devour Kaito as it flew through the air. This would easily take no effort on the beast's part as it was double, if not triple, the size of Kaito and other average sized human beings, but the Otokage, living up to his name and status as Otogakure no Sato's leader, would be entirely too quick to react to all of this. With a click of his tongue the young man would position the spear before him in such a way that, as soon as the beast came into close proximity to it with its open jaws, it would only take a quick upward jab on Kaito's part to finish it off.
'Smile, you son of a bitch...' The Otokage thought to himself as he followed through with the jab, undeterred in any way back by the numerous rows of sharp and unkempt teeth that the monster sported. The pointy and heavy spear would pierce directly through the fatty tissue that made up the beast's mouth, moving upwards through the monster's sinuses and exiting through its massive left eye. Kaito would wish that he had prepared himself as his ears were once again met with a gut wrenching wail of incomprehensible pain. The Otokage would, despite this minor setback, do his best to keep hold of the spear as the beast thrashed around on the other end of it, but the monster was just too powerful for the young Uchiha man. The monster released itself from Kaito's grasp, spear still lodged far up into its head, and it began crying out more and more. Blood gushed out from where the eye was once positioned, and Kaito couldn't help but chuckle as he realized that the massive and reflective body part anchored itself precariously on the top end of the spear. The sight was without a doubt gruesome, but the Otokage felt insane joy in being to harm the creatures that had plagued his home for the past couple of weeks. Hell, even if they had only been attacking the village for a single day, it would still be too much in Kaito's eyes.
This was war, and Kaito, Quinn, and Hanzo were now finally able to bring the war back to the creatures on their home turf.
While all of this happened around the trio, the Forgemaster would land directly next to Kaito's right side. Being her she already had her war bat at the ready in her hands, and she looked raring to engage the numerous number of enemies yet again without hesitation or need for direction.
"Good job, Quinn," Kaito said as he watched his own enemy of a monster thrash around before him. "Keep giving them hell like that and they are sure to retreat and leave us and the village alone for a good, long time."
The Otokage would not dare allow himself to take his eyes off of it as he relished in the fact that it was in intense and aggravating pain. Still, in his wolfish form, Kaito felt as though he had given into his old Inuzuka-clan tendencies. Growing up in the village of Sunagakure no Sato, Kaito had been known as the 'Hellhound of Sunagakure no Sato". He had wolfish tendencies, including an intense and unmatched tracking ability, and even his chakra had been known to take on the form of a wolf on more than one occasion. That very same form would have been the one that Raikur had experienced when the two of them had their showdown the previous night, and Kaito smirked as he remembered the fear that his very name brought those who had opposed him and the village that he once called home.
Just as quickly as Kaito had complemented the Forgemaster did she request that Kaito and Hanzo, two of the many Uchiha in the village of Otogakure no Sato that yielded very powerful and infamous Mangekyou Sharingan, take their offensive to that of ranged combat. Being a taijutsu and close quarters master, it was without question that Quinn would be able to take out the giant creature she had attacked previously, and with Kaito's Glass-Release techniques of flight and Hanzo's Mangekyou Sharingan ability of the intense black flames of the Amaterasu, it only made sense that the two of them took up the rear and provided back up to the Forgemaster. As to reinforce her position as the group's heavy hitter, the red headed Forgemaster would swing her other leg towards the monsters before her, creating another shockwave and sphere of effect that mimicked the first one that she had unleashed only a moment beforehand.
"You got it, Quinn." Kaito replied with a smirk. "Take the lead and don't let up. I and the entire world are counting on you, and I believe in you without a hint of doubt in my mind." A genuine and compassionate smile crept its way on Kaito's face as he watched on as Quinn set to work again. Whether she would see this or not was not known to Kaito, but he knew not to worry whether she would come back alive or not. She had proved to him in the creature's previous invasion of Otogakure no Sato that she could handle herself very well in combat, and he was without reason to disbelieve that she could now. "Good luck, Forgemaster."
Kaito would waste no more time in dashing backwards a few meters and out of Quinn's way, reconvening himself as he regrouped with his adoptive son and student, Hanzo. Kaito too believed in the abilities of the younger Uchiha as the boy had grown exceptionally over the course of the past few months. His growth was even more so than Kaito's own when the later was young, and Kaito couldn't help but be proud of his adoptive son and student.
"Hanzo," Kaito said as he formed a multitude of hand seals through his gloved hands. "Hold them off with those black flames of yours, but try not to over do it. I won't go into too much detail just yet, but by overusing the Mangekyou Sharingan those in our clan can become blind." Kaito paused for a moment as he looked over to Hanzo, realizing only now that his words could possibly set a fear within the boy. "Don't worry about that now though. You've only had your eyes for a very short time until now, so you have nothingg to worry about. I'll explain once we are back home, okay?" It was in that instant that the Otokage finished the hand seals that he had been working through, and chakra surged through his body and into the tenketsu points in his shoulder blades. At tremendous speed the chakra would form to once again take shape as clear and magnificent wings reminiscent of those of angels from fairytales and folklore.
"Glass-Release: Glass Wings Jutsu!"
Almost as though the words that Kaito spoke had been a catalyst of sorts, the wings would finish sprouting to their full length and thickness with a number of flutters, which caused dust to fly through the air around the Otokage. Placing his gloved hand upon the hilt of the katana attached to the left side of his belt and with his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan still very much active, Kaito would take to the skies as an audible whoosh echoed throughout the battlefield and surrounding area. The young man would simply levitate into the sky above the battle, increasing his height until he was twenty meters above the ground. It was from this vantage point that he could see the entirety of the battle, and along with it all of the forces brought on by the opposing forces of grotesque evil. From looks alone it was almost as though a mad and deranged scientist had created the creatures with the body parts of many normal animals, creating horrendous and sorry looking things that, as the name of the land suggested, were the things of nightmares. It was enough to almost make Kaito feel bad for having to utterly destroy the lot of them for their digressions against the village of Otogakure no Sato.
"Time to show them the consequences of their ill advised actions!"
Kaito would hesitate only for a second as he prepared to remove his precious sword from its hilt, remembering that Quinn had requested his assistance from a long range standpoint. Acknowledging this in his mind, Kaito would remove his hand from the sword's hilt and instead begin forming more hand seals in a quick fashion, starting with the hare seal, followed by the ram seal, and finally the snake seal. With the seals now complete, Kaito would activate his Kamui: Left eye technique, focusing in on the area directly behind the horde of hundreds of creatures that were slowly beginning to close in on Quinn and Hanzo's positions. As soon as his feet exited the portal he had created and met the ground below, the Otokage would infuse his molded chakra with the ground. The ground would erupt with pressure, almost swelling before an area of fifteen meters surrounding Kaito opened up like a giant square mouth. He, alongside a good third of the oncoming creatures, would sink at tremendous speed into the pit of the earth below them until they reached a final resting place of thirty meters deep. The creatures all the while attempted to swarm in directly on top of the Otokage, but it would all prove futile as he had become a master of his sword since the onslaught of the attacks on his village. In an instant, he had severed a handful of arms that reached out towards him without any sign of remorse, and as soon as his technique had reached its final resting point he would again take to the air with his still active 'Glass-Release: Glass Wings' technique. The creatures all bellowed and roared up at him crazily, some stepping ruthlessly and clumsily on top of the others to try to reach him, but much like their attempts to grab at him previously, it was all for naught.
As soon as Kaito reached a point of fifteen meters above where the creatures were currently located, he would again begin forming hand seals through the use of both of his gloved hands.
.
'Tiger... Ox... Monkey... Rabbit... Ram... Dragon...'
No sooner would Kaito finish listing off the names of the seals in his mind did he clap his hands together and began forming chakra wildly and recklessly into his lungs. His chest puffed outwards brilliantly as he arched his back, and with a great release of pressure, he would open his mouth, releasing down into the earthen core he had created a massive amount of water. The monsters all cried out as the dense water quickly rose above their heads, the force of the vortex they were all caught in swirling them through the hole as though they were caught in a horrible storm. This was the technique known throughout the world as the 'Great Vortex Technique', and it was easily one of the most powerful water techniques to have been known to mankind.
As the water quickly filled up the hole in the earth the Otokage would fly high back into the skies above the battlefield, taking note of what all was going on. Quinn and Hanzo both seemed to have been doing a fantastic job in keeping the creatures currently there at bay, but off in the distance, Kaito could see yet another wave of monsters making their way toward the scene. Looking down at Quinn he could see that based on her reaction alone she too knew of the danger yet to come, and Kaito cursed to himself as his ocular abilities were still not yet ready to counter them and, as he had previously back home, transport the incoming wave into his own personal Kamui dimension.
"Damn!" Thought the Otokage. He had to think quickly, otherwise, Quinn and Hanzo were sure to be overcome by the rampaging beasts that threatened the world. It took only a split second, but an idea would finally come to mind. Flying off towards the location of the incoming horde, Kaito would form another set of seals before divebombing towards the ground directly behind the group that Quinn herself was fighting, slamming an open palm upon the ground as soon as he reached it.
"Summoning-Art: Rashōmon!"
Two giant gates would rise from the ground directly next to each other, both of the structures bearing the face of a different oni. The both of them, standing next to each other, rose to a height of fifty meters and were each twenty five meters wide, in essence creating a fifty meter tall by fifty meter wide defensive wall against the incoming horde. The creatures would all have to act quickly to get around the defensive measure, but Kaito doubted in his heart of hearts that they would be able to do so before the Otogakure trio were able to once again gain the upper hand in this fight. Again wasting no more time, Kaito would form yet again more hand seals, this time for his 'Wood-Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu' technique. From the trees located to the right of the walls, which was at this point directly underneath of Kaito, the trees would burst outward, forming together to take the shape of a monstrous wooden dragon that was no less than ten meters in length and five meters in utter thickness. The dragon, with a roar of its own, would fly directly into the horde of creatures that Kaito had sanctioned off from the rest of the group, tossing them into the skies like ragdolls roughly fifty meters into the skies, even higher than Kaito himself. Within a moment they would all hit the ground with loud thuds, and Kaito knew for a fact that even a creature of their stature would not be able to survive the fall that they had just sustained. .
With his end of the fighting now over and done with, Kaito would retreat back towards the ground. By this point Hanzo and Quinn too had finished up with their fighting as well. Kaito was very much proud of his two students, and he would have been sure to let them know as such, when a sharp pain cut across his right arm. Grasping the location of the pain with his left hand, he realized that there was fresh blood and a cut from where a sharp object had pierced him. Turning towards the location from which the object had come from, Kaito was again baffled by what he would see; three figures staring back at the lot of them, all resembling Kaito, Quinn, and Hanzo perfectly and almost without flaw. They all wore intense smirks upon their face, and from his active dojutsu Kaito could see a disgustingly dark and gross chakra oozing from each of their bodies.
"These monsters are not mere reflections... Be ready to fight back..." Kaito said, not sure how in the world he would be able to fight himself in his current tired state...

Re: The Sounds of Dreams [Event-Hallowen]

The Otokage pointed out the sixteenth eye beast that looked like a weird chimera. Hanzo activated his Sharingan and began scouting around and he could see multiple chakra signatures indicating that there were a lot of monsters surrounding them. When scouting, he heard the Otokage mumbling vulgarities, which made the younger Uchiha chuckle in his mind. But this showed that they had a lot of monsters to deal with as his Sensei specialized in Sensory, he would be able to scout the area even better. He knew that this was going to be a long day of fight. "We are ready Sensei" Hanzo would responded and prepared a stance with his newly imagined sword that shined brightly.
Suddenly a loud roar was heard from the beast, it was absolutely defeaning to anyone normal shinobi but the trio had a duty to fulfil and was standing steadfast, taking in all the pain and ready to attack. Once the ear defeaning roar was over, Quinn would rush towards the chimera beast as the Otokage shouted at them to wait. Hanzo was prepared to use his black flames in case things go sideways to protect his fellow shinobi but what happened stunned him. Quinn leaped into the air and brough it down with a single kick, changing the landing area filling it with dust and the surrounding monsters to be in dazed due to the extreme air force. "Woah, thats a massive strength of kick" Hanzo would think to himself. From within the dust, a monster would spring out towards the Otokage which he dealt with it pretty easily. Another one rushed towards Hanzo, as it was a few meters away, Hanzo would simply point the sword directly at it and once it was just a meter away, he would slash it without even moving from his area.
The sword was amazing to wield, it was like a knife cutting a soft butter, it was the right weight and extremely sharp. Quinn would then proceed to inform the Otokage and Hanzo to fire from afar while they fought head on. "I need a technique that allows flight too" Hanzo thought to himself. Hanzo activated his Mangekyo Sharingan in both his eyes, ready to aid his fellow shinobi who was being motivated by the Otokage's speech. "Good luck Quinn, we got your back!" Hanzo would shout from afar. Hanzo was about to spray his black flames all round them, in that moment the Otokage began forming hand signs and gave a warning to him. "Using the Mangekyo Sharingan makes someone blind ?" Hanzo was stunned in fear. "But I see you using them constantly, how come you are immune to it ?" Hanzo would ask curiously. His Sensei comforted him and said would provide more information once they are back home, just as he completed his hand signs. The Otokage would fly to the sky with his Glass Wings.
The younger Uchiha was now in a state of fear, he wasn't sure if he should using his black flames due to the fear of being blind but he knew that the Otokage, his Sensei, his Father, got his back. He trusted his Sensei with his life. Suddenly, the fear would be overcome by confidence. Hanzo activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, glaring at all the oncoming monsters. As blood trickled down his right eye, Hanzo unleashed his famous Amaterasu, black flames that incinerates anything into mere ashes. Within instant speed, most of the monsters were covered in black flames, moaning in pain and slowly turning into dust. While using the technique, he could feel pain in his right eye and a slight blur of his vision for a second. Hanzo immediately deactivated his Mangekyo Sharingan out of fear of being blind during the current battle. The younger Uchiha wiped the blood on his face while watching the Otokage was using his visual prowess but with a twist of using water based technique. Hanzo has never seen the Otokage use any element based technique before and this was quite a treat. "I can't be stagnant with just lightning based techniques, I need a new element" Hanzo thought to himself. The Uchiha clan was famous for its fire based element and Hanzo was determined to master it.
At that moment, his visual prowess picked up the second wave of monsters coming at them. Hanzo could have used his black flames again, but activating his visual prowess would surely tire him out as the pain on his right eye still lingered. Just as Hanzo looked up towards his Sensei for orders, the Otokage would dive bomb into the oncoming horde and summon a two giant gates that created a barrier between them and the horde. Some of the monsters who was a second quick, managed to get around the barrier were met with Hanzo. The younger Uchiha would form the Dragon -> Boar -> Bird -> Ram -> Snake -> Monkey hand signs and imbue lightning chakra and blast off multiple Chidori Senbon at the oncoming monsters to finish them off. While the Elder Uchiha used a Wood element technique, which was said to be one of the rarest element to behold. "Damn, how many elements does the Otokage possess ?!" Hanzo was shocked.
The wood element would take the form of a dragon and would fly directly into the horde destroying them. In the mean time, the younger Uchiha would rush into the oncoming horde and begin slashing everyone of them left and right without breaking a sweat with his conjured sword. Hanzo would then leap into the air and slash the multiple monsters with a single slash from afar with his Temple Style: Bark technique that sends a wall of air force from the sword's tip. Once he landed to on the ground, he would perform the Tiger → Ram → Snake → Monkey → Bird → Dog and imbue lightning chakra to his left hand and activate the Lightning Beast Tracking Fang technique that summons forth a hell hound constructed with his lightning chakra that ran through the horde paralyzed and destroy every monster in its path.
At this point, the team had completed their battles and stood together as the Otokage was somehow injured by cut. When they turn to look, it as three figures of the trio, all with an evil look about them and thanks to his visual prowess, their chakra was something disgusting and not human about it. "They are definitely not humans, I agree" Hanzo responded to his Sensei. Hanzo was taken a back as he had depleted some of his chakra and all of them were looking tired from their previous battle that had just ended few seconds ago. "Lets protect each others back and get them!" Hanzo would tell the team.

Re: The Sounds of Dreams [Event-Hallowen]

Quinn's focus was astounding, to simply ignore their leader? What baffling behavior it was though it worked out in the end. As much as they were reckless it seemed to always work out consistently for the blacksmith of Otogakure. Once the smoke and debris settled Quinn would turn to Kaito and bow, "Apologies. Will try to wait. Hopefully only few more issues." They added in, as it appeared the figures out of the corner of their eyes showed up. Beat and tired, bruised and exhausted, the Forgemaster stared at a trio of shinobi that matched their own selves. Between the sleeplessness and the fighting up to this point, it was really a rock versus a hard place to be able to continue to fight. Yet that was nothing new to the Forgemaster of Otogakure. As they looked at their bat and then to the Nightmare Quinn, they too pulled out their own weapon, a larger, meaner, more gruesome weapon from the Land of Iron.
Quinn scoffed and sighed, "Bigger huh?" They simply asked stepping forward, the scenery shifting once more. "Perhaps we fight again?" Quinn asked looking towards Kaito, a smirk of their own etching across their face as the Sound Festival began to enter the surrounding scene. The stage and platform formed below them as it grew in size to accommodate the trio versus trio scenario that was beginning to play out. Thunderous applause and boos could be heard from the stands as illusionary silhouettes formed in the makeshift stands. "Perhaps you can try your luck Kaito. Nightmare me seems easy. Odds 2:1 on you." They laughed as the large cudgel leaned and was lifted by the Nightmarish Forgemaster menacingly. "Hanzo shows capacity against not you. I showcase against not Hanzo." Quinn proposed to the group seeing as the other two began to take on rather agitated faces to Quinn's nonchalant perspectives. It was odd, as Quinn took light to the situation a bit, the forms present waivered a bit. It was almost as if their approach to the situation stirred the force behind their nightmarish versions.
Only time would tell how things would play out as the Land of Dreams quaked under the pressure that was building. The nightmare versions of the trio looking to begin the fight but something was holding them back a moment. Using this time to look between the trio, Quinn would await their thoughts before acting this time. The creatures were just a menace to what they wanted to do but to face a potentially optimal version of themselves was nothing to just throw themselves into without warning or a full plan. Once the plan was decided on, Quinn would act accordingly and adjust as needed. It was just a matter of execution to handle the part of the plan that was being required of them. Maintaining their breathing, Quinn's breath seemed gritting in audible sound while standing next to the two. It was something different, it wasn't the fire they once radiated off of them nor was it the earth that made the ground shake with their footsteps, nor was it the wind that graced their form as elegant as their showcase had been to that moment. This was something different from the Forgemaster that the other two had not seen. "I discovered not long ago. Small history of Fosters'." They began as their cloak formed around them and adjusted to their dust affinity creating almost a mirage appearance to Quinn.
As much as a name like 'Dust Breathing' would be seen as a horrible thing to advocate for, it appeared to the others that Quinn elevated themselves and unlocked a rather unique and highly advanced element within their chakra, Dust. As a combination of three and from an unknown, unaffiliated family, Quinn discovering and developing such an element as part of their identity was massive. As their breathing regulated, the grit and form of them seemed to cleanse the space around them though what was left behind was not necessarily a clean Dreamscape but rather almost an absence of the space. Dust was a potent element and not one to be taken lightly for sure, "I assume our knowledge of each other is the base. My nightmare self? Shouldn't have this." Quinn smirked as the smirk from the nightmare Forgemaster's smirk seemed to droop a bit with a mixture of frustration and anger. "Hope you two kept aces. Sleeves are great for tricks," They added in before beginning to act upon the decided plans.
Though Quinn's assumption might be proven wrong about their mirrored selves capacities, presumably there had to be some truth to the statement. If two out of the three of them were unaware of something that one of them possessed it had to diminish their counterpart's ability somehow. At that point, it was just a matter of what the Land of Nightmares provided or had given the nightmare versions of themselves. Quinn's weapon being different in contrast to the version before them was enough to indicate that all knowledge they possessed of each other was not necessarily encompassing of all that was going to be present and available for the group. With that in mind, Quinn began to think about Hanzo and Kaito and the knowledge they themselves possessed of the two. In reality, most of what Quinn remembered was of Hanzo early on in their shinobi career as they had met the genin as a student. Similarly, for Quinn, the academy's first graduating class since its founding was when they met the Otokage as the main proctor and spectator of the latest shinobi to take on the badge of honor being a part of the shinobi force.
Beyond that, it was the festival, the current setting that they knew of the duo. The showcase of Hanzo and subsequent combat with Raikur. For Kaito their fight was limited as Quinn blitzed the man before really doing much of anything else. Neither fight was prolonged and even seeing capacities thereafter it was limited knowledge that Quinn possessed of their true capacities. It was not until the need of Amaterasu that Quinn was aware that the Uchihas' eyes possessed great power and capacity beyond what they assumed was better sight. Blessed by their bloodlines unlike themselves, Hanzo and Kaito stood above Quinn in that comparison. As someone from a clan of blacksmiths, not of shinobi, Quinn's strengths are showcased in a different manner over the two. Durability, strength, determination, and focus appeared to be unparalleled compared to some of the shinobi that they graduated with alongside even some of the other genin that Quinn had met.
At this moment, it would be put the to test after the fighting they had already gone through so far. Quinn would fight to the end of whatever line this was going to lead to. It was a matter of overcoming themselves, literally, figuratively, and collectively in the Forgemaster's mind. Whatever path the group decided on, Quinn followed and executed to the best of their ability. Even without any proper and true dust techniques at their disposal, Quinn would elevate their own capacity in this situation, beyond where they started their shinobi career. With an affirmation, Quinn was quick to dash at the trio a swing of their bat being sent at Hanzo out of the three. A sword that appeared to be the one that Quinn had forged came to block but as it did, Quinn's free hand swooped and grabbed its wrist before dragging the nightmare creature imitating their friend to another part of the makeshift dream arena slamming it down against the ground knocking some of the 'breath' it possessed out of it before it seemed to vanish and reform across from them, pissed and beyond annoyed by the Forgemaster.
As they spun the bat in their right hand, their breathing of Quinn was heavy and even if it sounded like a filter collecting the grit of the space around them, there was no faltering or wavering in the rhythm. Unflinching as lighting skyrocketed out of the hands of their opponent, the Forgemaster nodded as they began to perform the first form of their wind breathing the defensive barrier forming from their swings to deter any other potential aggressive action from the nightmare genin. It was a war of attrition and Quinn still had yet to pull out more of their capacity. Reaching the depths of their lungs, nothing was to impose its will on the path that Quinn sought at this moment. Fear was not present, angst was not there, and Quinn defied what the Dreamscape Sea's opponent was wanting to push onto the Land of Dreams. "Nothing will stop me. Till the land becomes dust. Till I wither away. I shall remain. I shall continue. I will be unimpeded." They proclaimed as they began to walk forward undaunted by the challenge as flames began to come towards the Forgemaster. Their stance shifted, their own flames contesting the nightmare's.
Quinn was thankful that it appeared that their own flames outmatched the nightmare's Amaterasu. Its fire was formidable but from what they could see, Hanzo's was hotter. It was a wild thing to fight against a comrade, not for fun or for a spar or even for training. Facing Hanzo as an opponent for real, even if it was not him, did not sit well for Quinn. They were there to help and support, to grow and foster, not destroy or reprimand. Yet here they were about to take a beating to one of Quinn's first teammates and friends. Disgust and disdain was seen on their face as they swung their bat over, and over unleashing strike after strike, fighting and batting back against the entity taking on Hanzo's visage. It was a monumental task to undergo as their breathing labored. At one point Quinn just thought of the Hanzo they had met and compared it to the one in front of them. "Anger.... thwack... Destruction... *thwack*... Animosity... *thwack*... Does not suit a friend." They proclaimed with a mighty crack of the bat against the head of the nightmare Hanzo.
Slowly it began to dissipate into the aether, the portion of the arena they had been fighting in beginning to recoil and rescind back towards the others. Their fight left them with burns and cuts, more bruises to accompany the ones already gotten. It was a hard fight for Quinn, and even through victory, did not please the shinobi. They were aware should circumstances put them against each other, Hanzo could be an opponent in the future, yet that was one that Quinn frightfully avoided imaging at this time. The landscape must have been playing with their own thoughts by now, but there was still something they must accomplish, saving the Land of Dreams from the clutches of whatever was bringing forth the Land of Nightmares. They waited to see what would come next as certainly whatever brought forth nightmarish versions of themselves would not simply stop at this moment. The trio were worn down by now, grasping at their resources after battling all the way to this point in the Land of Nightmares. Surely the entity would arrive and proclaim its intent. It almost seemed comedic to imagine if such a thing truly existed and this was more of a big bad evil entity over a group of some kind.
That was when a low rumble began to shake the ground they stood on, the space around them distorting leaving no true room to converse or reprieve from the fight they just finished. Once all three of their nightmare versions fell they coalesced into a greater entity as it boomed and echoed around them. No words were heard by Quinn. Their focus was on the sounds around them, going back to when the underwent the training to learn of Sound Release. In this sliver of time, they focused on what they could hear, their heart, their companions, its defeat.
