Meeting with the Mizukage

A summons from the Mizukage was not something that Mako thought he would wake up too. Like any person suddenly called by the authorities Mako racked his mind thinking of if he had broken any rules or laws that he doesn’t know about and nothing sprung to mind. He had been to tired lately to do much after completing mission after mission so he could only hope maybe just maybe his work was simply being recognized. That was a much better mindset then possibly being in trouble for something he didn’t know he did or possibly didn’t do.

He got his things around and got ready for his trip across the village to the Mizukage’s Estate, his normal lax pace and stride to and from places was replaced with a more urgent but not chaotic stride. Mako still waved and greeted those that spoke to him but he didn’t have the time to exchange more than that to each one. Within time he was at the estate and he produced his summons to the guards so they could verify his need to be there and once that was taken care of he entered the building and once he was where he needed to be he knocked on the door in front of him and would enter if given permission until then he simply waited.

Akabayashi was certainly inside his hands moving inside his path practicing the procedures he used to do frequently. As the door knocked the conscious path and the doctor looked to the door. Well, whoever it is this will freak them out. Sometimes the shock value was enough to let people see his twisted side. "Enter." He would say pulling out the organ after cutting it with the scalpel.

When the door was opened he would see the doctor holding a liver and the person who was getting operated on smiling and waving at him. A metal rod sticking out of the place his belly button should be. Threads would begin to jut out of the doctors arm as they pierced the organ to reconnect it as he placed it back inside the path.

"Sit or stand. Grab a pen and paper, learn something useful." He would say after reattaching the organ his gloves covered in blood. He would take them off one at a time and put them in a bio-waste bin before washing and sanitizing his hands. The path in the meantime was sewing up his own wound with a needle and thread. With a hand just as practiced as the one who performed the surgery.

"Some skills you have to use or lose." He would say as he sat down the path still sewing itself up on the table. Except it was stitching as well as it had before, but was no longer watching itself do it. Now it was sewing its hands moving and looking at Mako. How was he doing this well Akabayashi could see the procedure he wasn't staring at the wound and should directling the hand to move that way even with the angle distorted was hard, but he practiced. He could now easily determine the angle and adjust. "Well the reason I called you is to give you a reward."

Upon being given permission to enter by the voice from within who Mako wasn’t sure belonged to more because while he knew of the Mizukage he hadn’t interacted with the man before which wasn’t all that surprising considering he had only recently even bothered paying attention to the Shinobi side of life, entering the room the sight that greeted him was a surgeon with red hair and glasses holding a liver and the person if that was what he could call the thing being operated on waved and smiled at him with a metal rod piercing his stomach.
 
A strange sight to say the least but the rumors of the Mizukage called him the Mad Doctor a nickname that followed him from his time in Hoshigakure from what Mako understood, these rumors helped mold the young man’s own image of the Mizukage so while he was taken aback by the scene it was quickly accepted as normal to the Genin. Mako watched as black threads seemed to stitch back the organ within the person thing on the table and when he was told to sit or stand and grab some pen and paper he chose to stand and produced something to write and write upon and decided to take notes on the procedure. Mako wasn’t a Medical shinobi but he understood basic care and tried to write down what he saw on how things were being sewed though he was sure he would need more knowledge on the subject to truly understand it something was better then nothing.
 
After a moment the Mizukage stopped the surgery or at least his part in it and started to clean himself up while the thing on the table continued to sew themselves back up eventually just looking at Mako instead of the wound. Mako was pretty sure that the thing on the table wasn’t human. Now the Mizukage got to the main point of the summons, it seemed that he called him to reward him. Maybe it was for his progression from student to genin and the missions he had been accomplishing since.
 
“Greetings Lord Mizukage, Apologies for the late introduction I figured it would better to remain silent as the surgery was proceeding on whoever that is.” Mako started figuring that giving the respect deserved was the best start, “I am Mako Hoshigaki and am reporting as ordered by the summons I was sent.” He continued as he put away his notes though meager had covered some parts that he would be able to research at a later time to get more understanding on what he saw.

The thing laying on the table would wave as it was mentioned, stopping the procedure on itself momentarily, before returning to what it was doing. "Don't mind him he is a bit peculiar." The kage would say searching through his desk as the path started looking at what it was doing again. He took out a scroll and opened it. "Silent Killing, I had thought it was one of Hoshi's techniques but it seems to have originated here." He would say throwing the scroll to Mako. "Read it if you choose. But know that should you leave this village with its secrets you will be hunted."

The thing had waved at him and the Mizukage had said he summoned Mako to give him a reward, a reward for what Mako wasn’t sure though he assumed it was due to his involvement in the missions that he had been quickly completing. At the end of the day Mako wasn’t going to turn down whatever the Mizukage decided to reward him with, though he was surprised by what the reward ended up being. The Mizukage had given him a scroll that would teach him how to use the an ability that Mako had been quite interested in learning ever since he had heard the rumors about its existence. Silent Killing, a skill that was suppose to make you and the things on you practically silent like an owl flying through the night sky, it also supposedly made it so you left no traces as you went fitting perfectly with the assassin like training that was prominent in the village.

The Mizukage’s mention that he had thought it was one of Hoshigakure’s techniques made him understand that somehow at one point someone either had turned traitor and had given it to Hoshigakure prior to the current Mizukage’s reign or they had gotten their hands on it some other way. The Mizukage warned Mako that if he ever left this this village with the secret he would end up hunted, which to Mako was the clear consequence if he ever chose to betray his village a thought that he had never harbored. Mako had pride in who he was, where he came from and the long heritage his clan had with Kirigakure. With a bow, “Thank you, Lord Mizukage. I will quickly read this scroll and once I have memorized the contents I will destroy it or return it to you whichever you prefer as I assume this is simply a copy.” He would say as he began to read the contents and with some time he had it memorized and knew he would be able to continue training it till he was able to fully use the new skill to the fullest of his ability with that he would either destroy the scroll or give it back to the Mizukage. Once that had been completed Mako would bow once more and with the approval of the Mizukage he would exit the building ready to continue his training on Silent Killing.

Well at least he got the message. Once Mako was done reading he would take back the scroll and thank him for visiting before returning to his work.
