Task: The administrative aides have been up to their neck recently with reports and records. Looking for another hand, they've requested the assistance of some lower-ranked shinobi to just help direct people to different offices based on needs and demand. If no one comes during their time directing traffic for them, they request some simple organizing of records for the local shinobi academy. Nothing major to sort through, just some papers from the youngest and brightest the village has to offer! The aides also recommend not to read the students papers, why they won't say.

Upon completing multiple missions, he knew he was nearing steps on making onto the next ranked missions soon. He just had two more to go before he can take up higher ranked missions. His father was counting on him to be the clan head in Kirigakure and every step towards the dream of his father counted. However, Rudra had other plans, he wanted to form an organization of exceptional shinobis in order to make peace between all the shinobi countries. Though the dream may seem far-fetched at his current strength, he knows that as time passes by, he will be able to make his dream a reality.
With all these thoughts in mind, he headed straight to the mission board where he saw multiple requests being unfulfilled. Instead of taking one mission, he thought of taking on two missions at the same time and since they were low ranked missions, it wouldn’t be much of a hassle, as he has experience with these things before. The young uchiha tore two mission sheets, he saw that one required to clean up the monument and the other required some office administrative work. “Easy stuff as usual huh” he sighed to himself.
Not only that, he saw that the two mission sheets that he tore, had other fingerprints on it. That means, some other shinobi will be joining him for this mission. He had never done a mission with anyone before and this would be a first. He had a thought of recruiting them, but wasn’t sure of informing anyone of his plans immediately. He headed to the monument and waited for the other shinobi to turn up. At that moment, he thought “If they seem strong and cool headed, maybe inviting them to the organization shouldn’t be an issue”.

The afternoon rain drizzled down, wetting the long grey hairs of the older Academy student, his jumpsuit stuck to his skin but it was no discomfort. He would often swim in the local lakes, becoming used to living amongst the storms allowed him to very much expand his capabilities as an assassin. Being able to live comfortably within the discomfort would set him above others, it was human nature to want to be comfortable. When he entered the building he dripped water to the floor - his eyes glanced up to meet those of an attendant with a mop apparatus. ”Alright - It’s wet and I don't have an umbrella- ain't my fault it's so wet out there!” he bit back at the wordless eyes drilling into him.
Instead, he walked through grabbing eagerly at a handful of missions without a half care about what they were, he was happy to just get out there and earn some Ryo, learn a bit more and get experience needed to advance in his Ninja Career. Heading back outside he pulled the coat over his head, the white fluff dried his face and kept the wind away from his face. Jiraijin opened the scrolls to see the mission details, firstly he was to assist with cleaning up the monument - and then he would have to make his way through some administrative paperwork. ”Ah what a bore - was hoping to pick up some Hunter training or something” He didn't even notice that two people were required for each, usually he had a fair attention to detail, but in this weather he had made a mistake.
Jiraijin swiftly arrived at the monument, unsure as to why there was always so much mess around it. The blatant disrespect angered him, this was a Monument - it should be treated as such. The wet weather made it worse, ”Alright - better get to work.” a broom and mop was a far change from a hilt of a sword, but it practised discipline very much the same. There was way to much for one person…

Just as Rudra was waiting for the other shinobi to join in, he heard footsteps, which he turned around to see a shinobi, taller than him with long grey hair which was wet from the recent rain. "Hi, it seems I'm partnered up with you for this" Rudra said as he pointed to the mess on the monument. The young Uchiha took two brooms that were laid on the side of the monument and handed one to him. If he took the broom or not, it would depend on him.
"My name is Rudra, what about yours?" the Uchiha asked as he began brooming the dust and mess that filled up the monument that was supposed to be kept clean. Rudra wasn't happy with what he was doing, as he felt it was a waste of time but he had to complete these missions in order to rank up. While working on the mess, Rudra began analyzing the shinobi. He could see that he didn't have a headband, so most likely he would have been an Academy Student. Nonetheless, he looked like he had great potential. Rudra had a thought to recruit him into his organization once the shinobi was a Genin.
Just as they completed cleaning the monument, they had to leave for the Administrator's Office. It was time to do some paperworks. "Shall we leave for the next mission since we are done here ?" he would ask the shinobi.

Disappointingly the monument was covered in thick slimey bird shite. His eyes averted from the statue for a moment, meeting those of a Shinobi. This Genin was younger than him, but he was still here to clean up this statue, or to pressure him into doing a better job. That was until the shinobi said that he was here to be partnered with him. ”Who’ve you pissed off to be here cleaning up shit, kid?” his hand reached out to take the handle, nodding an appreciative thanks.
”Jiraijin, from the Academy” he answered formally, the lack of clan name from the kid wasn't in itself suspicious, but it was enough for him to withhold the same information himself. Rudra didn't seem to have much to discuss, here to get the job done. So they concentrated and with the help of the rain from earlier the statue would soon be clean of its new cloak. A simple mission for sure, he took a moment to clear up the rest of the area as the two of them worked there way through.
”Yeah sure - let’s go.” he agreed, on the way there he looked at the kid. ”How long have you been a genin for?” Jiraijin was a handful of years the senior of the two, but the kid was his senior in rank, he knew starting so late would have him pressured, he had a lot of catch up to do.

Just as Rudra refrained from mentioning the name of his clan, so did Jiraijin. The Uchiha thought that the shinobi was quite chill but gave off a rogue vibe, which Rudra liked. Someone like that in his future team would be a great asset and value. As they walked to the Administrators Office, Jiraijin asked a question which Rudra replied with "I have just recently passed the Genin Exams. This is most probably my fourth mission. This is the first time I'm doing it with someone else" he smiled.
Once they reached the office, the Administrator began handing out files and papers to sort out. As they were both sorting it out, Rudra asked "You look strong for an Academy Student, any plans on taking the Genin Exams soon?". As they both talked while sorting the papers, they completed the mission quite quickly. "Looks like we are done, time to head home. Lets see if we'll match up in the future missions" Rudra waved goodbye as he headed home.
The Uchiha wanted to wait for Jiraijin to be a Genin first, before inviting him into his organization. Not only that, he wanted to be sure the shinobi had the same ideology as him, as there's a lot of risk venturing out of the village.

Rudra spoke about his Genin exam and indicated that he had only just passed them, Jiraijin was tempted to keep pushing but the kid appeared to be a closed book. No matter, there was much he could do without having to push for more details. The kid had done 4 missions, he made a mental note of his own as these would be 2 more missions onto his already rapidly growing count, Jiraijin would make this his 5th and 6th, the same number. Perhaps he wasn't so far behind after all. Jiraijin simply nodded to his superior, not wanting to draw attention to it at all. Instead he smiled back, keeping an eye on others as they passed - it was never too late to start practising patrol capabilities.
When they arrived at the administration facility he was left, as usual, shocked by the displayed architecture. It was impossible to not simply be in awe of them, in comparison to the humble small village origins that he grew up in. Despite his father being relatively rich, he was still a fisherman and compared to Neo-Kirigakure it was nothing.
The papers, as boring as it was, provided an automated process for him to dwell within, he sorted documents into alphabetical order and then some by desperate tags attached, scrolls were the worst as they had to be opened and examined before putting them back away. There were other stacks that at first glance would appear pointless, but by collating them with the relevant files they began to build bigger pictures, Jiraijin wondered about the redacted information blanked from the pages. The secrets they held.
The Hozuki was pulled from his thoughts by the words of the Genin, apparently he appeared strong. ” It’s subjective, I have few tricks up my sleeve and I try and stay aware of everything. And you’re a kid who outranks me. Appearance isn't a lot to go bye, but perhaps you got some tricks to teach me, but yes - I hope to take the exam soon, I could probably do it now but I like to take my time, hmm?” He looked back to his paperwork, realising that it was now done. ”Would ya look at that. We’re done.” he looked back up and with a confident nod he stood, heading for the door. ”Ya’know what, I’m sure we’ll meet again kid. Let’s hope it's something a bit more exciting though!”
With that he left, two more missions done and a big step forward towards achieving his goals. But damn he had to stop putting the Academy off. There was lots to say about why he hadn't progressed, his brothers had do it faster and better than he. It also meant the missions he did were far more secluded to the village, he wasn't scared of what would happen on these missions, he would and could fight to the best of his ability. No, he was more worried about failing and embarrassing his clan, his family and finally himself. Jiraijin swallowed, knowing he was better than these feelings. He just had to take the step.
