Akagane smiled as she got dressed that morning. She sought after the critically acclaimed accolade of becoming a Genin. She had been vigilant about taking additional course load to be able to graduate at a timely rate. She was still young and she recognized that when she had turned twelve a few months ago. She had studied to the best of her ability and even elected to shadow a couple of Genin to see them act in the field. She took Hebiishu and Jurei’s advice to heart as she returned back to the academy later that day and dedicated herself to note taking practice. She wanted to be as prepared as she could.

Once dressed and ready for the day, she departed her home with her father and mother in tow. As much as they could not join her in taking the exam, she had high expectations that she would be able to finish at a rather expedient rate as compared to others in her class. Thus, Akagane requested her parents to be prepared for her to be done relatively quickly. She was a young blossoming young Shinobi and she was excited to take the next steps in her story. It was going to be an exciting day in the village of Hoshigakure no Sato as today was the day Akagane Blossok became a Genin.

Upon arrival she bade farewell to her parents for now as she entered as a student and would leave with a forehead protector with Hoshi’s symbol proudly on display. She found her seat quickly as having a last name at the beginning of the alphabet would make it an easy task to make it to her designated seat. From there it was just a matter of time. The questions being given were done orally this time, with the proctor at the front of the lecture hall spectating the students as he promoted questions to be written down on the paper before them. It was unorthodox but something to switch things up as he only repeated the question twice after saying it the first time. It was a test of awareness, recognizing key information and possibly usage of some stealth tricks to catch answers you may have missed due to the test taking environment.

The assortment of questions involved simple tool descriptions with the student having to draw and list the tool itself. This ensures proper understanding and appraisal of the uses of the tools, historical questions such as putting the Hogokage in order of their reign, and other course load questions like geometry and distance formulas. Akagane twiddled her writing utensil in her fingers as she stared at her test paper. She was done writing the answers to the questions before the first time it was said finished. She expected a quick in and out but it appears the young Blossom was incorrect on her assessment. Perhaps there was something else she could do in the meantime while the test took place. She had begun to study a few avenues of chakra uses before signing up for the Genin Exam so she figured now would be a good time to try it out.

The next portion of the exam involved a degree of precision in which Akagane used this for her trial ground. They needed to perform two techniques, the clone and transformation technique. As was standard for this non-standard exam, Akagane sought to perform the techniques first so she could be done and go home to begin studying and practicing new techniques and learn from her parents. Although her father was a retired shinobi, her mother had recently became active once more but it was more of a wanderer status than a shinobi affiliated with a village. Her mother informed her that she would be aiding Kaya’s aunt in the world and to be good and on her best behavior. She was sad by the news that her mom could not watch her fledgling shinobi story begin fully but was glad that she would be in attendance at least for her to receive her headband.

With them moving the to practical portion of the Genin Exam however, they decided to draw lots and separate the group of exam takers into smaller groups to speed up the process. It was here that the young Blossok saw an opportunity for to move her exam along. They would depart in groups, thus group one was going to be the first ones to start performing the techniques and question to pass the exam. For the young kunoichi, this meant she needed to somehow acquire number one group indicator. as much as she could simply try to trade it with someone, she felt it would be best if she tried it out the tricks that she has been studying. the balls were out and about for the group to start organizing themselves, she channeled chakra to her fingertips. She went up to grab her group marker and saw that she ended up in group 2, so close! Thankfully this did not deter her objective as her group would organize right next to the group she wanted to be in.

Once the groups started to form, she launched chakra threads towards and unsuspecting student and grabbed their marker out of their hand while tossing her own at him towards the floor to make seem like he simply dropped it. Now in her desired group, Akagane Moved to the front of the line, wanting to be done with all of this and left the lecture halls to go into the training room to produce the two techniques and question. is a simple task for the Blossom as without any issues, she did the clone technique to produce a copy of her herself. Follow the transformation technique to make herself look like the proctor. With her clone copy beside her and herself looking like someone else, Akagane’s assessment was determined to be done. She was now officially a Shinobi of Hoshigakure no Sato.
