Sakuran had a good nights sleep, rolling out of bed she wondered what the day would hold. She got dressed and checked her gear, she had been buying quite a bit with the money from her missions. She still did not quite know how she would use it all but its better to have and not need then need and not have. She grabbed her swords and just went to mission central. there would be time to sift through this.
She quickly went to mission central and got her mission scroll, reading it she saw the strange details where the man could not know she was a ninja, fine. It was not hard to find the shop, it was a bit on the outskirts but easily located. She saw the shop, it was old but well taken care off, the walls and part of the front window were covered in graffiti, The Wolf Boys, wow what a name to strike fear into your enemies, absolute dum dums.
She met the man and agreed to stand on guard near the door, after a while she heard young men howling, the shopkeeper met her gaze and she understood it was them, she signaled for him to stay.
Sakuran closed the door behind her, smiling at the shop owner in a reassuring way. The three men coming up the road had not noticed her and she casually kept post in three meters in front of the door holding her arms crossed. They were talking about a party they had last night and how they needed to make a stop to get more money to party some more, Sakuran gripped her arms tight, this was a surefire way to piss her off, taking advantage of hardworking honest people, they will not survive her today.
"Look at that, something sweet waiting on us." He looked her up and down. "You are packing some serious weaponry little lady." One of the three moved forward, he reached for her sword. Her eyes gleamed and one of her hand shot out into a throat shop with lightning speed, the man reeled back and lay on the floor coughing. She had to keep it jutsu free for now, the other two man scowled and she assumed her White Fang Style position, one man tried to kick her and another went for a throat punch but Sakuran countered them with a punch and a kick herself.
The men groaned and grabbed the affected limbs, still seething on the inside she tried to do this clean and kicked both men to the side of their legs, they went down onto their knees and Sakuran grabbed them by their throats, the look in her eyes was screaming bloody murder. They quieted down and with a voice that barely was able to mask her fury. "I need you to take me to your leader, now I have a proposition to your group." They nodded and she let them go.
They stumbled along the road, quiet as mouses, Sakuran was walking behind them resting both hands on her swords. They came to a small rundown house and she could hear the laughter of men inside, the three stumbled in an Sakuran followed them. The laughter died down and the mood shifted, "Greg, Who did you bring here and why are you guys limping !?" Sakuran moved forward and struggled to contain herself. "I have a proposition for you that will earn you a ton of cash for doing almost nothing, but i need to know for sure these are all of your men, no others out on any assignments."
The man who appeared to be the leader. "Well you just brought in the three on rounds today so yeh we are all here. What is this deal ? We love easy money." A disconcerting grin spread across her face, the temperature in the room seemed to drop, her breathing became powerful and hyper controlled, she stared at the men as her eyes were turning white, a yellow aura surrounded her, Sakuran had lost control, her power had grown so quickly in the past few weeks and something just snapped. These men deserved to die for their choices but not like this.
Her muscles bulged and veins popped out, The men looked horrified at the visage before them, she pulled her swords out in a reverse grip and looked at the man closest to the door, her blade sunk into his throat quicker then he could blink, he was pinned against the wall as she drove her blade down, cutting the wall and him in two, his body dropped like in a sick floppy manner. Panic started to set in with the men, some posed to fight, some scrambled for another exit.
She had no time for this, this rage needed to stop. The men trying to exit through the window got impaled on her sword as she raised them in the air and threw them to the floor like garbage. The boss started to gather his courage and like the scumbag he was he pushed his lackeys forward, the men were barely able to stand as they tried to stop their forward momentum, Sakuran brought her swords outwards and swished them back in a cross shape, cutting their heads off at the neck. Their boss charged at her but in a series of lightining strikes she cut his tendons and as he dropped to the floor she cut his stomach open, unable to move while she stared in his face not saying a single word, waiting on his death.
Sakuran cleaned her blades after she watched him die and went to the shop to declare her mission over, her walk to the mission central happened in a daze, not fully comprehending what just happened. Sakuran gave in her report and told them she had killed the group trying to extort the shopkeeper and headed home she used the ferry and Jack saw her face, wisely not speaking to her.

Tossing and turning all night, Sakuran was haunted by the agression she had from the last mission, what was that ... Light trickled through and she decided to get up. Those men were preying on her fellow villagers ... they had to go ... but did it needed to be that brutal. Sakuran went downstairs and had breakfast with her family, they laughed at the giant bundle of stuff she had but quickly stopped when she reminded them that it was mostly weapons and if one happened to land on their feet that would be unfortunate.
They took this in stride and was in line with the dark humor she and her brothers dabbled in. They finished their meal and helped clean up. Sakuran went to the barn to look through all of her new stuff, she put on the Demon armour and it fitted perfectly "The Wind Demons Guild really knows their stuff." she said to herself, she hung the mask from her neck but it also was a good fit, just a bit too intimidating when talking to villagers. She loaded her chest slots with ten kunais and both her chakra bonded katana in the sheaths on her thighs. Putting her explosive tags and five shurikens in the hidden pocket on her armour.
"Crap, i need to go." She swore under her breath and started running to mission central, she would skip the ferry today since she was late and used her surface walking technique to run across the water, she saw Jack loading up at the dock and waved at him, taken aback he waved back as she sped to mission central. When she entered the clerk paused for a minute looking at her "Trying a new look I see, daunting for a genin." Sakuran smiled weakly, "Got anything for me?" The men frowned, not used to this behaviour from her.
"Actually a grandmother, near your parents home, needs an escort." Sakuran looked at him suprised. "But the scroll you are holding is a C-rank ... how is that possible?" The man pursed his face. "Its through some pretty rough terrain, infested with bandits and the like." Sakuran frowned "Do you think its wrong to kill bandits?" The man looked at her very seriously "Being a shinobi your pledge is to protect the village and its inhabitants and anyone endangering that should be dealt with, so no, good riddance." Sakuran took the scroll pondering his words.
She doubled back and looking at the map she saw it was not far from her home. She quickly got there and knocked on the small cabin door. "Come on in." Sakuran opened the door and smiled at the old woman. "Hi there child, I am granny Tsuki and you?" Standing up right she said "Sakuran Hatake, a Kirigakure Genin here to escort you." The granny smiled "My my how proper, i am sure i will be fine with you around." Tsuki started to gather her things what was not much then came up to Sakuran and grabbed her by the arm, "Lets go child."
They started walking and the granny was faster then Sakuran expected, soon they entered the forest and Tsuki was observing Sakuran. "You look troubled child. What is the matter, are you worried about the bandits?" Tsuki rose and eyebrow."I am fine, really." But she knew she was far from it. "Young lady, do not trick me, I am too old for that, now I might feeble but let me tell you i know things." Her voice was sharp, cutting through Sakurans interior struggles. "I killed a group of bandits that were exctorting a nice shopkeeper, I did not just kill them i slaughtered them like it was a wolf that i caught ripping into our sheep." The old grandmother was not phased.
"You are trained to kill, its natural for us humans to not want to kill others, but we do it to protect our own when we must. Did you have to?" Sakuran searched her mind. "I feel like i went to far, a rage took hold of me and spilled out of me." Tsuki took some time to respond. "Uncontrolled rage is a dangerous thing, do you know why you were angry." Shifting uncomfortably Sakuran tried to respond. "The moment i saw how callous these bandits spoke about robbing people to engorge themselves on their hard work, thats when it started, I got angry like this before when a tea shop i was helping in got robbed, i chased the bandits and exterminated them in the same fashion ..."
Grandmother Tsuki looked very serious "Child, while your rage at injustice is understandable, the explosion of rage is unsustainable and will get you killed. You bottle this rage and let it explode, channel it, instead of pushing it all in let it out bit by bit." She pondered her next words carefully "Instead of being a barrel of oil being set off by a the fire of injustice, try seeing it as a gaslamp." Puzzled she looked at the old woman. "A gaslamp ? I do not follow." The granny smiled "Whereas the oil in the barrel was your rage, the gas in the gaslamp is as well. But instead of putting a fire to the barrel you put fire to the gaslamp letting it burn forever, and you function as the valve controlling the rate of fire."
Sakuran still looked confused "So i am always angry ?" her voice sounding desperate. "You will always have anger towards injustice but you must realize it is always there, every moment of every day, that fire is always burning but you should use that fire to fuel you like a gaslamp burns to illuminate our houses instead of burning it down." she nodded sagely "Your mind, your self is the valve that controls the burn rate. I believe that this is the best way for you to deal with it."
The silence that followed was profound, Sakuran was trying to take it all in. Tsuki was right there was always injustice, she had never been exposed to any of it on the farm and now since she started doing missions she was confronted with something she was never equipped to deal with, that might be the reason she reacted so severely and her actions so extreme. She needed to let it sink in that injustice was a constant in the universe and then gain the ability to use her rage in precise manner, letting it fuel her to greater heights and not explode out of her.
"I think I understand ... thank you." Tsuki grabbed her arm more tightly. "Just remember child, you may realize it to an extent now but to adopt this philophy will take time. For as long as you are doing this for the right reasons and do your best to change. You will manage to change." Sakuran had a severe look on her face nodding as the grandmother spoke. They walked in silence in the forest and as the granny was enjoying the walk, Sakuran was still contemplating the entire conversation.
A twig snapping broke her train of thought and as Sakuran looked up she noticed the group of men standing there. They leered at them as Sakuran and the grandmother stopped walking. They stood there locking eyes as one man came forward. "Alright ladies, hand over your valuables and noone needs to die." Sakuran was trying to be the valve that controlled her rage and holding Tsuki by the arm guided her to a tree that was lying by the road and placed her behind it, as Sakuran turned around Tsuki grabbed her and whispered to her.
"Illuminate them." and a knowing smile spread across both of their faces.
Sakuran slowly walked towards the men, her headband glinting off the light beaming through the canopy of the forest. She counted twelve men, a troublesome number for a genin in open combat. But Sakuran was strangely calm, envisioning the rage she was feeling as a fuel. These men thought robbing poor travelers was a life worthy of devoting their life to, well, that life brought its risks, her being one of them. "Little lady, the fact that you are a genin is not going to help you. We will kill you and the old lady, take the goods and bury the bodies, We don't want to kill children and old ladies but we have and will again if you do not obey. "
A rush of rage was building and she had to use it, grabbing one of the kunai strapped to her chest she threw it at the man, sinking it to the hilt in his skull. The men were outraged, screaming and yelling, advancing on her. She decided to turn the valve a bit more open, grabbing her swords in a reverse grip. The men were drawing their weapons, clubs and swords and some in the back had a bow and arrow. Four men at the front outright charged at her, she walked towards them with a dead calm, as soon as they were in range she dropped down and did a whirlwind kick, knocking two of them down and using the momentum of the move she kept spinning and slashed the next two across the chest.
With cold determination she stabbed all four in either the heart or throat, whichever was a better target, an arrow whizzed past her head, hitting the tree the old woman was hiding behind. The rage surged again and there was no holding it back this time. Her eyes turned white and as her muscles grew, veins popped out of them and the men hesitated but still advanced, the air around her started to shift and a yellow chakra was becoming visible even to them and spread to an area of five meters around her, the bandits with bows fired at her but the aura deflected them. The men panicked and charged forward.
She took a step back and as she moved forward again turned around her axis while throwing a punch, Buzzing Hornet, something she had recently mastered was a terryfying skill, an air bullet of pure force was launched from her fist, powered by her Seven Heavens Breathing Method. The air bullit tore through four men, dismembering and with some getting holes blown in their chests. The sound created was deafening, tearing the remaining mens eardrums.
Using her momentum she kicked two against eachother breaking their spines, she jumped towards the two remaining men doing a front flip and using that momentum to unleash a terrible axe kick on one and when she landed did a punch to the other mans jaw with blistering speed, breaking his neck. She stood there over the corpses of twelve grown men, rage subsiding slowly. Her body returned to normal as she controlled her breathing to calm down.
She went to Tsuki who was watching from behind the tree "Impressive, child." Sakuran sighed "I lost it again when they fired the arrow at the tree..." Tsuki replied sharply "I told you it will take time, you made the first steps, do not be so hard on yourself." Nodding Sakuran helped her from behind the tree as they went on their way again, Tsuki glanced at the pile of corpses "Still, very impressive."
Tsuki and Sakuran met no more bandits along the way and the conversation grew a lot lighter, she had taught Sakuran some invaluable lessons and as they neared the village Tsuki told Sakuran to come by any time, she graciously accepted. After she dropped her off they had some tea as they discussed Tsukis plans for being in this village, apperently her grandkids moved her and she wanted to be close to them in her final years, Sakuran actually met them and they thanked her for delivering her grandmother safely to them. Sakuran returned to mission central to give her report and headed home making sure to catch the ferry to tell Jack all about the last few days.

Sakuran slept a little better today but still was awake for large chunks of the night, dawn broke and she decided to get up early, she put on her armor and equipped her gear, she liked her current loadout, it was getting a bit much but she really like mixing Taijitsu with Bukijutsu, She went downstairs to have breakfast with her family and a hush fell when she entered the room. They stared at her "Going to war my sister?" Akira said while pointing at her weapons with his spoon. Sakuran laughed at him as she sat down. "Not if i don't have to."
They finished their meal, but Sakuran could tell they were disturbed by her wearing full gear at the table, after they finished and cleaned up, she left for the ferry, no need to get into an argument today. She ran to the ferry and caught it just in time "Morning Jack." "Morning, Sakuran, you are looking dapper!" She laughed as she started to show off all of her weapons, she really liked her new swords and not to mention all of the pouches on her chest and hands with kunai mounted on it. She also took out her tentacle whip and they both laughed at the ridiculous look it had around her waist.
After having a good laugh Jack turned a bit more serious, the ocean was calm with just the two of them sailing along. "I noticed a few days ago you were on here being very quiet my young friend, I felt that it wasn't right to ask you about it then, so I am asking you now." Sakuran recounted the events of the last few missions unashamed, Jack was listening intently. "I did not know you had that in you, sometimes i forget you are a genin, but I am happy the Lady Tsuki helped you gain a new perspective, if you ever need someone to listen, know I'm always here."
"Thank you, Jack, I will next time, i was just still processing it all." Sakuran said meekly "I imagine its quite the burden to be a kunoichi, but everyone needs friends to lean on now and again." Sakuran beamed at him, what a wise old captain. They sailed along the ocean and Sakuran thought about how lucky she was with her village and the people in it, wondering about other villages and their people, the dock was in sight, and it was not long before they docked, Sakuran thanked him again and left for mission central.
On the road to mission Central she met her uncle Mako, "Hi uncle! How are you?" Mako turned to her with a smile. "I am doing great, just came from mission central and the clerk mentioned you have been hauling ass for the past few weeks so i know already what you have been up to." Sakuran puffed up her chest, "Trying to become the best Hatake ever does not happen by sitting still." Mako laughed at this, "Lofty goals, come by later if you can, i got to run." Sakuran waved goodbye as she left for mission central.
Arriving at the mission central she noticed it was quite busy for this time of day, she entered and quietly waited on her turn, once she got to the clerk he sent her to the council. This means a big mission usually she entered the council chamber. "Ah if it isn`t our very own Sakuran. We have been reading your previous reports and have decided to give you a special mission." Sakuran gulped, was this a punishment. "The ninja academy is updating their training modules on Taijutsu. As you are one of the better genin with Taijutsu we've decided you can help them. Work with the teachers to create a training regiment, provide demonstrations that can be used to create visual learning tools, and participate in a Taijutsu Only Spar that will be recorded and shown to new students for inspiration."
Sakuran gladly accepted and took the mission scroll, a B-rank mission this was serious stuff. Pride swelled up inside of her, she said her goodbyes to the council and left for the academy, she was walking and not running, Thinking about how she was going to address this, it had not been long since she was at the academy herself but thought to herself a lot can change in a short while so maybe its best to ask the teachers to show her how they have been doing things.
Sakuran arrived at the academy and made her way to the teachers' lounge, she opened the door to walk in on her former teachers in Taijutsu, they looked a bit surprised to see her. "Oh Hi, Sakuran, what brings you here?" Sakuran went up to them "I have received a mission to help you rework the Taijutsu training program from the ground up." They nodded "Makes sense, we have heard about your missions and the mastery of some very difficult techniques."
They all got up and went over to the table which was filled with papers. "These are all of our training modules some of which you have gone through yourself!" Sakuran nodded "And obviously they worked well but i feel we can make it more extensive." She went over the papers one by one as the teachers observed her, naturally she would want nothing more than a pure taijutsu schooling, but she knew there had to be balance in these things. "Right let's go over this as a group and see where we stand"
Pouring over the modules she identified several as lacking in certain areas. "The basic principle here is sound but i feel we could be more versatile in our warmups, currently we have one warmup module but its important to change this up because a body gets lazy with repetition and needs change to grow, actually this is true for most of the modules here, we could add at least one module extra per training are, preferably two and rotate those."
She pointed at the defensive modules and talked about the equipement she was now using at the training facility and how all of these new things were very alien to her even though Taijutsu was her passion, we could build new obstacle courses that can easily be changed up to adapt for the modules she was planning, this was her first major concern, the teachers were complaining on funding and Sakuran said she would employ her family to help them get started and going in the right direction, she took some time to draw out an obstacle course and how it can be adapted to keep the students on their toes.
Already the teachers were getting excited, "Now this next training area involves dummies that can change position." She recounted the training session where she spied on a chuunin doing an advanced set of combinations on these dummies. "Of course, we cannot expect the students to follow a chuunins regimen, but we can make them familiar with the equipment and give them the tools to expand further then just punching and kicking a log." All of this is relatively easy to acquire and maintain and she made diagrams on how the puppets could be placed and moved.
Furthermore she wanted agility ladders to be installed noting that she felt improving footwork, agility, and coordination was just as important as training striking, these ladders would also be cheap to attain and maintain she started to draw out the locations on a map to make sure that each had enough space to eventually grow, She also proposed installing makiwara boards to practice strikes with proper form to condition their striking surfaces since it was a traditional tool for developing striking power and conditioning knuckles, wrists, and forearms.
They took a little time to discuss each new addition and Sakuran wrote down as she told them how to structure a training regimen based on offensive, defensive, and counter techniques. She made sure to emphasize on how to balance all of these different techniques together in a regimen that addressed all of the new additions and a full training rotation for all of the new additions, and then made three more to allow the teachers versatility and to make sure that growth kept happening for the students, she tried to make sure that the time spend training was not increased as not to encroach on the rest of their teaching schedules.
Now that they had a proper baseline for training, she decided to advance the training regimens even more and with certain additions and different routines they could adapt each course fairly quickly to accommodate beginner, intermediate, advanced levels of training. There was alot of writing to be done to make sure they followed the proper order of progression, she looked at her work knowing she had made a great start at reworking the entire system.
Lastly, she wanted to ensure the philosophy of Taijutsu was maintained throughout the training, maintaining proper form was of paramount importance as it lays the foundation for effective and efficient movement, reducing the risk of injury while maximizing power and speed. Discipline was a very important factor here instilling in students the mental fortitude and focus necessary to hone their skills and maintain control in high-pressure situations. Finally, she emphasized that Taijutsu users not only become formidable fighters but also embody the values of honor and self-control, making them true warriors in every sense.
Sakuran and the teachers were satisfied with their progress thus far but it was time to tackle another major point in their curriculum which was the visual aids they used to teach the students taijutsu moves and things they had to study, after clearing the table and sorting all of the new training regimens as well as making a detailed map of all the new installments that would be installed in the future, they got to collecting all of the visual aids, there were a lot of manuscripts and videos.
They got to reviewing each excercise individually and called in some art teachers to draw new visualizations to each new installment of the machines, emphasizing technique in each of them. Sakuran inspected each drawing and corrected them where needed and the taijutsu teachers were writing the captions and she also helped them out trying to shape a uniform vision across all of it. After a while the papers started to pile up and Sakuran helped keeping everything sorted and soon all of the instructions on the new regimens and installments were done.
Now they reviewed the text books on Taijutsu themselves and the instruction on basic fighting techniques, these were not bad but a little bit outdated, Sakuran went over every excercise with the art and taijutsu teachers even doing the most basic of punches to record a step by step diagram on where to shift your power to what bodypart to get the maximum impact from every move. She was being very strict in this because she knew how hard it was to retrain something you have done for years and wanted to save the students from this and ultimately make the village stronger.
Now it was time to add some chapters to their books, Sakuran demonstrated basic to adanced techniques and while she was posing for the art teachers to draw each step she wa reciting to the other martial art teachers on what to write and how to keep emphasizing the importance of fundementals and what excercises to do to grow to be able to do more advanced techniques. She spend some times with the teachers reviewing their work and corrected them where needed, Sakuran spoke with such conviction and passion that noone questioned her.
Sakuran reviewed everything they had done so far but she still had so much to say, discussing it with the teacher they decided to add a chapter to highlight common mistakes and how to correct them. They discussed and argued back and forth what the most common pitfalls were and tried to include everything in the chapter. Most common thing was to respect proper form since without that you could not call your self a taijutsu user. They rounded the chapter off with ways to make your own training schedule since Sakuran found it vital that the students knew how to do this for their future in any discipline they choose.
Together they reviewed everything they had made so far and it was a lot of material. The teachers sounded really excited when discussing the techniques and together with Sakuran they tried every excercise they had written about with Sakuran giving even more tips on how to help their students become great at Taijutsu, Sakuran also helped them set up homework assignments for studunts who wanted to continue training and how to adapt the training on all of the different body types out there which really suprised them.
Sakuran decided to get her brothers involved and told the teachers to keep reviewing while she got them. She ran towards home, skipping the ferry for now and running across the water utilizing the surface walking technique when she got home she had to search for her brothers a bit and found them cutting firewood. "Hiya bros i kinda need your help with something, I am helping the academy redo their entire Taijutsu repetoire and need your help to build the installments neccesary to do it." The brothers looked at eachother and Akira spoke up.
"Dad told us to cut firewood for three day, some of the older folk can not do it anymore and we were asked to do it, we would love to help but itll be for next week sis." Sakuran looked troubled, she was not very known for her patience. "How about i do the cutting and you guys get over to the school and help out there, I will meet you there later." The brothers looked puzzled "How in blazes are you going to cut three days worth of firewood and still have time to meet us there." Sakuran laughed "I have been training my quickdraw techniques and cutting them down is the easy part."
The brothers shrugged, cutting firewood was tedious. "Very well, what do you need us to do ?" Sakuran explained all of the things they had to build and that they should take what they needed from the barn and Sakuran would restock it later. The brothers went back home and loaded up the cart with wood, nails and rope, as much as they could fit in and left for the school. Sakuran in the meantime was sizing up the trees and seeing what the best way was to cut it in bulk. She had a good idea and readied her body yo pounce.
With a smooth motion she jumped at a tree and spun her body around while reverse gripping her sword, as she came down she spun even more and with each completed spin she cut a piece of the tree, and when she landed the tree was still standing, a forward slash up the tree cut it in half vertically and as she came down she made another cut a quarter from the original, all this movement was doing her wonders, being cooped up and doing so much writing was getting her cramped up. Sakuran kicked the tree and it fell down in perfectly cut quarters.
Now she continued this same technique on many more trees making an absolute ton of fire wood for her brothers, the forest was a good deal more open and she still had to stack all of the wood. Luckily her training with throwing kunai came in handy and with a little ingenuity she was able to throw the blocks into lines of nice walls of wood, easy ro move to the people who needed it. She cleaned herself off and set to running back to the academy, speeding across the roads and running once more onto the water to reach it.
When she got there the teachers were outside helping her brothers setting up the installments. They waved at her "Welcome back, your brothers work fast!" Akira grinned and picked up the pace some more, her brothers could be quite vain and complimenting them motivated them even more. As they were doing this the school day was coming to an end and as the students poured out Sakuran had an idea, she gathered to Taijutsu teachers and ran to the students. "STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY DO YOU WANT ME TO FIGHT YOUR TEACHERS!"
The students roared at the suggestion, who would not. Sakuran had already told the teachers about the plan, to fight and demonstrate all of the new techniques that they had worked on all day, she wanted to fight all three of them at the same time. They went to the middle of the school ground with all of the students surrounding them, the teachers whoes class had ended stood among them to make sure they did not get to close. Sakuran squared off against the teachers, not using her white fang style because this was a demonstration.
The teachers started their attack and which each blow she blocked Sakuran voiced her commentary, explaining how she chose to block in a specific manner and making sure they saw the technique, she then advanced to strikes and even though she struck the teachers she made sure to pull her power down to a minimum and the teachers pretended to be hurt. They then proceeded to grapples and as she was grappeling one of them she proceeded to use her free limbs to counter the other teachers incoming attacks.
She let them go and they surrounded her saying to the crowd she will now emphasize fluidity, speed, and precision and which each counter and strike she did; while making sure every movement was clear and easy to follow. The teachers followed in her footsteps and gave instructions to what they were doing, unknown to the students they had been tricked in following an extra class after school and they never even realized. Genius.
Next the teachers charged her and Sakuran demonstrated the importance of strategy while charging in between two, postponing the threat of one then catching one teachers strike and pulling herself to the side by his arm dodging the attack of the other teacher emphasizing the need for adaptability and since she had not forgotten about the third and pushed him against the two other teachers, trying to impart the importance of constant mental focus. She went on how about this was a lot to do at the same time but if you practice the basics the rest will follow.
"Now let's put all of this together and I will show you how that looks." She looked intently at the teachers, "Come at me, do not hold back." The teachers looked at each other, hesitating, "If you want them to learn you have to show them" They regrouped and circled her once again, a solid tactic, as they came in the one in front of her was a lot faster than the ones on her side. She did a forward high kick on the frontrunner's chest, knocking him back, she used the momentum of the impact to spin a quarter on her vertical axis and extended another kick and punch with both the other teachers walking in on it.
"This was a simple combination of three different strikes." The teachers approached her again and everyone was still smiling. "The reason no one got hurt is because we all have control over our bodies and minds" The irony of this statement hit her pretty hard "We have reworked your entire curriculum to help you learn this and also added some training equipment to help you on that journey." She motioned to her brothers and started walking towards them, the students greeted them, and they greeted back.
Sakuran started explaining everything they did today, showing the exercises and the variations to train different muscle groups which will all help in their striking and defensive taijutsu usage. She went over the obstacle course and its adaptations, showing how to best do every iteration. Not only that but she also showed how to use the Agility ladders also showing every way to do the exercise, next up was the training dummies and the makiwara board, showing how to chain combinations and to strengthen your striking game.
The students were getting excited, and many started using the installments, Sakuran and the teachers walked in between them to help them to do the exercise properly. Some children started mock fighting and Sakuran happily joined them. They all spend several hours showing the students because everyone was ecstatic about the installments and Sakuran was giving instructions on how to chain kicks and punches on the new training dummies. Today was a very good day, she has ensured the village next generation would know how to throw a good punch.
When the last of students had left and her brothers were cleaning up their material Sakuran met up with the teachers for the last time today. "I thank you all for this day, it was very intense but i believe we made a real difference here today and in the future." The teachers thanked her for her efforts. She helped clean up the classroom they used and bid her farewell. She gathered up her brothers and together they got on the ferry and headed home, Sakuran felt that slowly she was growing in this role of Genin and as a member of this village.
