Umi the Wolf

Appearance: Umi is a black wolf with bright, blue eyes.  His fur is long and always well brushed as Tai takes excellent care of him.  He is a stocky wolf pup with large paws that he is expected to grow into.  From head to toe, he reaches 4ft in length and about 30 Inches in height from shoulder to ground. If he follows in the footsteps of his parents, Umi will stand at about 45 inches, and 6 feet in length
Personality:   Umi is the complete opposite of tai.  Where Tai is quiet and observant, Umi is rambunctious and playful.  He is also fiercely loyal and protective of Tai, rarely leaving the boy’s side when out of the house.  He’s a snuggler and often traps Tai under his fur when the Genin is sitting or laying down.  The two are inseparable.  
History:
Umi is the offspring of Aoki’s, Tai’s Mother, companion, Sky.  Sky was given to tai’s Uncle, Kyuku after Aoki was killed in a mission and Sky severely wounded.  Sky no longer goes on missions and has had several litters since her Master passed.  Tai would often go see the new pups but none would suit him.  It wasn’t until his last year in the academy that he and Umi found each other.

Umi was a rowdy pup, often picking on his litter mates.  At first, Tai remained distant from the litter and all of the pups but Umi ignored him.  Umi however, immediately calmed and stood by Tai’s side, automatically placing himself between Tai and everyone else if others got near.  Tai was immediately fond of the pup that stayed by his side and didn’t yip or how like the other pups.  The two sat in the afternoon sun, with Umi in his lap, while Tai read to him.  When it came time to go home, Tai took him with him and the two have been inseparable since.

Passive Abilities:

Telepathic Connection:  Umi and Tai have a telepathic connection meaning that they can communicate without words.  This is mostly used to share images and sensations.  Though they can use words, their connection is more emotional and the two are capable of understanding each other.

Claws and teeth:  Umi has sharp claws and teeth, able to cause damage quickly.  They're both durable (100 Health) and once broken, they are unable to be used in the current topic.

Inuzuka Scent Tracking: The Inuzuka clan is renowned for its tracking abilities, with their enhanced noses playing a vital role in this skill. When provided with a person, animal, or item of clothing belonging to the target, the user can spend 100 words to catalog the scent and claim it as a memorized scent on their Stats page. Once a scent is cataloged, the user can passively locate it within a 20-meter radius of their current location. This ability also allows them to track people or animals across different topics, as long as the topic has no start date longer than one week OOC.

Battle Coordination:  Tai and Umi spend so much time together that they are familiar with each other's actions whether they be strengths or weaknesses.  The two often work as a pair to take on any mission or opponent.  

Enhanced Eye Sight:  Umi is able to track any movement within a 20M radius.  This is greatly reduced in tree-dense areas, mist, or storms.
