Nothing better to do. Sitting on the top of the academy was always fun. One couldn't be seen to well. Kyuicho sat alone quietly waiting for something to happen. Nowhere better to be. Hanging out on top of the academy wasn't too weird, especially for a former student of said academy. It wasn't like he was in plane view; people would have to look up to see him. And since he wasn't making nay noise, no one would look. No Reason not to. There wasn't anything else to be doing. In fact things were pretty much as boring as they ever were. Kyuicho found himself waiting for the regular days to go by. Perhaps it was time for him to get up and do something worth the effort.
But was there anything in Konoha worth said effort? No. There was just Konoha and it's people. The training grounds and the training ninja were the same as before. People rushed to those places just for training a new technique for meaningless fights. It was like nobody in Konoha cared about anyone else. That couldn't be true though; the Kage, the Jounin, and the instructors all of them they all cared about the village. But the genin and the students what did they think about, was it fame and glory for them?
Kyuicho laid back upon the roof top. For the longest time he wanted to be worth more than a shinobi, but he never knew how to measure himself to a standard. It was easy to grade the worth of others though. Anybody could easily tell that Kyuicho had achieved genin rank in basically three years. It was true that there were others who were exceedingly well learned, but none of them were the same as Kyuicho. Their worth was entirely different, entirely their own. It was as if they could see it for them selves, as if they could see their own worth. Why could he see his? Was it measurable in the first place? It had to be. If others could measure their own worth by their own means than he could to, but how did they do it.
Maybe he had it wrong; perhaps the measure others put on them selves were fake. Were they just the nobs he saw training in the park? For what ever reason they had for all that training, was there more underneath? Why did other people train? Why do they fight with people like them selves? Was it to be superior? Is that all it was?
"I don't want to fight. if fighting meant continuing the pointless system for pointless people than he was done with it. There was no real reason behind the motivation to harm people. However many times Kyuicho skipped class or jumped off cliffs, the was a reason to do it. That was of course to see what he could measure himself by. As redundant as it was to play with death, Kyuicho didn't do things like that all the time. It would become pointless if everyone could jump off a cliff and survive every day. Nothing would be new, because everybody could do it to. Maybe Kyuicho was having that sort of problem. He needed the new, he needed to be new.
Nah, that would make him like everybody else; fashion and daredevils were the new. Who needed those kinds of people to tell them what was exciting and worthy of praise? Oh right, the people in the training fields. This is going nowhere. My train of thought keeps going back to everybody being the same in-the-now mode.
Back tracking thoughts was always a good way to solve the answers to problems, but it was a circle in the first place. No matter how you looked at it people were always looking for the new ideas in life. They would do it for themselves to measure their own worth. But what did they prove?
Wait was proving something to someone a reason? It could be like that, but Kyuicho wasn't looking to prove anything for anybody but himself. Or did that qualify as something for someone? What ever, if Kyuicho was going to prove something it would be his own worth but he'd measure that worth on his own. That way nobody could say he was worthless, only he could.
But that was a circle back to the other thought! He wasn't getting anywhere.
Did people fight because they wanted to know what they fought for? Did some people at least get to these thoughts? Does anything even make sense when you fight to find out why you fight? No, because that statement made no sense. Uhg!
Maybe there would be others waiting for him, maybe they had reasons to fight and train them selves to death. Or maybe Kyuicho would measure himself by helping others find out their wort. Nah that would be too..too something. Kyuicho wasn't the kind of person to help others anyway. He did things for himself and needed nobody's opinion about it. People were in his way or out of his way.
He let out a long breath. it was more than obvious that his thoughts were pulling away his energy. He looked tired with his body so still. He didn't know what else to be doing. Anybody but his mom would be a comfort in the moment.
But it's not like he needed anybody to come cheer him up. No, he wouldn't allow that. He would go find somebody else to... No not that either. He didn't need anyone to cheer him up and he wouldn't cheer up anybody else. Kyuicho wasn't a preppy school girl or a shrink. If anybody wanted him it would have to be for a good reason. Not like nobody came to him for a reason anyway. They still wasn't anything to do in Konoha. It's not like imminent danger loomed over him in a dark ominous cloud of lighting and fire. Did people go crazy over things like that? Seriously. Were people training for the just incase scenarios where the village was destroyed by demons of hell? Maybe there would be something to do then, but it's not like that now.
GOD. KONOHA IS BORING. Where ever his dad was, that guy definitely had the right idea. Anywhere but Konoha would be great. What was his father doing anyway? Was he even thinking about the son he left? Did fathers think about their sons?
AUHA! Where ever he was, it was still better than the top of the academy. Daylight, clouds moving slow, a glare of light from a window, and the Konoha air made the day what some would call a good day or a great day. But who cared about those people? Whether it was a nice day or a cloudy day the same Konoha offered the same promise of being boring. Heck with it it would only be a good day if it was raining. That way the training ground would be clear and the streets would be empty. If there was nobody around then that would be the greatest thing; Kyuicho would be worth more because he would be the last and only person in Konoha. He'd be worth as much as the Kage, more than anybody else just because he was there. Or was being the only one of something why it was worth so much? That kind of made sense, like objects were worth more if they were the last one or the only one.
So was Kyuicho worthless because there were so many genin in Konoha? There was only one hokage. That made him worth more than anybody, except for royalty the kage was basically worth the most. He could measure himself couldn't he? But what does somebody measure himself it-- Kyuchio was starting that again. The circle of thoughts would keep going wouldn't it? Well Kyuicho wasn't going to let that happen. Where was he before the worth crap, oh right.. no where.
Maybe he did need someone. Someone to change the conversation for him. Or he could just start walking. But where would he go, darn it it Konoha was boring. He already established that. The people. The places. The training. That's all this village was about now. Maybe Kyuicho would find something new for himself if he would ever get off the roof and do something to call new. The sitting still started to get to him.
"I'll go crazy if I stay here. I'll just rob the next person I see and go to a movie." The whole circle thought process thing was getting annoying. Did anybody else have that problem? Or were they just super smart and then find the answers by thinking for a mere second. Whatever, a movie would get his brain calm. An action movie with plenty of blood and guts would Probably get his mind off the whole circle pattern and measurable worth crap.
Kyuicho sat up strait to look at the people below, but there was a wall in front of the academy, which blocked a fair deal of view of the path sitting in front of the academy. He couldn't see anybody coming, but it didn't matter anyway. Kyuicho would just sit there anyway. For some reason stealing didn't feel like it was worth the effort of getting up, well getting down, off the roof. He could blame it on the medication, but his laziness was more psychological than anything.

Kenal was thinking, annoyed at his failure to go to the exams..missing a chance to become a chunnin...he grabbed the memento. which he had to hold with two hands. and stabbed a dummy. so annoying...so hellish...Kenal was overthinking things...he felt his view on things changing..consuming his old self..even though this was feeling very slowly. it was easy to notice. Kenal then put the memento in its sheathe. and kicked the dummy in the head. yet looking down again and thinking. So confused on what to do. he then continued to punch the dummy. with every punch kenal felt sick....weaker...Tired. But he continued attacking it. until the simple dummy was weaker..but still was far from being broken.kenal raised his hand yet again. and pounded at its chest. and kicked the leg. kenal raised the two hand taking memento. then slammed it down on the dummies top right shoulder. chopping it off. His skin tingled. then felt like his skin shed. and gained a scaly layer. His body went cold and chill. stiff, like a rock or golem of iron. hell went through his mind, a nightmare. Yet a opposite...it only was dark. and cold. Not bright and hot as fire. his mind stayed in that spot. but his body kept moving. he sheathed the sword.he could mainly see differently. a shadow. in a empty space moved. consuming the ground in its path. then fading. kenal then saw normally. and poured a bottle of water on his face. he then hit the dummy again and again. it slowly looked like it was doing nothing. all it did was hurt kenal's fist. but he kept going till his fingers felt broken. then rose his left hand and continued the punching.
kenal was so annoyed. so weak. so new. then he looked at the thought that he hurt his dad by making him fall and hurt his head. also lighting the paper on fire. he diddnt say thank you for the sword did he. then kenal thought again. more about power this time. which side gave better benefits..good had to sacrifice some of its own glory and defend others..bad kept it all.....to itself...harvesting...gathering. kenal looked at the ground with greedy eyes. focusing on blood, flesh. evil's strength. kenal loooked at the stupid dummy and with a newfound strength. pulled his blade out. and chopped it straight down the middle. and ran off with hellish eyes. then..it began to rain

The thumping noise of something hitting a dummy was suddenly very loud. Kyuicho knew people would be training at the academy, but apparently the dummy was also being used. That's getting really annoying. Who's that kid using it anyway? Kyuicho could see him, but not his defining features. Honestly it was somewhat useless to sit on the top of the academy. Kyuicho was in one of those useless moods, so it seemed fitting but who couldn't just sit there. Why else was he just thinking about robbing people for money? He's got good form, I bet he's getting stronger already. But didn't I just say training was useless since everybody does it? Man I'm contradicting my self already. Would it really be that bad if he started training with him? It went against his ranting about worth, maybe he'd just keep sitting on the roof for a long time and wait for some one to rob still. That kid could have cash. Maybe Kyuicho was better of befriending than stealing from someone to get their money. Sure it would be using them, which was worse than stealing because it breaks trust, but it wasn't like Kyuicho couldn't repay him along the way. Man I don't like this. Those pills are dragging me down. I want to do something, but everything seems like it's not worth the effort! Was this one of those times to act on impulse? Maybe talking to that kid would be easier than stealing from him. The genin sighed from on top of the academy.
He could see the fastest way down was to jump from the roof which was two stories from the ground, but there was a door behind him also. Which was better, to jump off the roof or take time for the stairs? Probably taking the stairs, because Kyuicho felt lifeless and taking the risk on no moral energy would make it difficult to even think of jumping and landing correctly. The genin went through the door instead and weaved his way through the academy. The second floor was empty, as well as the first. it seemed the whole building was deserted except for a couple instructors and students who were in the rooms close to the center of the building. When Kyuicho was near the entrance of the academy he waited for the right words to come to him. If Kyuicho wanted to train he would have been out there already, but he wasn't because the motivation to work him self wasn't there. For what ever reason the other genin had for training, Kyuicho didn't share it. A gap between them would probably surface early in their conversation. Kyuicho wouldn't bring up much of a conversation that revolved around "my horse is better than your horse" since Kyuicho wanted to just talk. Maybe the other genin wouldn't respond the way Kyuicho would expect. Maybe there was more to this genin than training for power.
He walked through the doorway and could see the genin still. Heading closer he greeted the genin. "Hey, you're pretty good at taijutsu."

Kenal thought and thought. but was then greeted by a other 8 year old from the academy. He turned, and with his new view. stared at blankly. then turned and made a whisper. Kenal gripped his sword quickly. Wondering if his training had made him better. Kenal went through his motion, smiling, doubting himself with a frown. but then he came to a conclusion. he drew his sword out and looked at the man. and with a stern face. then pointed the sword to him
The whisper was : Think Fast
And with that, Kenal slashed at him
The blades length, was 2ft, its hilt 4 inches across

Kyuicho couldn't understand the whisper, but suddenly the genin lashed out with a sword! Kyuicho trusted himself backward to avoid the sword strike. What the hell was that kid thinking? Did he want to hurt him? Kyuicho looked at him for a moment. The kid was near Kyuicho's age and his voice was quiet. Maybe this was the kind of person that liked to attack people, a killer or something.
What's wrong with him?! Kyuicho didn't have any weapons or any jutsu to take advantage of the situation. He was pretty much useless in a fight. "Are you ok? You know I'm not your enemy. Why did you attack me? Maybe this guy was messing with him. It seemed to be the case. Whatever this guy wanted, Kyuicho didn't exactly have a fair chance to escape someone with a sword. "If I wasn't quick to think I would have been cut on my head. You're lucky I dodged, you know you're pretty fast with that sword. Maybe you should consider not attacking people." In any case Kyuicho wasn't going anywhere near this nut job. Intimidation was what it was. Kyuicho could definitely fell a gap between them. Domination and inferiority.
Did people seriously think they could attack people when they talked to them? No wonder people were out training all the time, fools like this would attack them for no reason. Well at least this wasn't going to be as boring as he thought. Kyuicho brushed sweat off his forehead and waited for the kid to start talking.

Kenal sheathed the sword and smiled holding out his hand "Kenal uchiha," forcing himself to sound nicer than how he felt currently. kenal also had disregard for whatever the other boy said. Then, kenals face went blank. though his hand was still stretched out. kenal felt insane. as he felt like he entered his own subconscious. Kenal felt overwhelmed, to admit it. then he begun to battle himself What was wrong with his own intentions. a random strike who would care if the other person had been hit. kenal had clearly aimed to only try and chip the shoulder but what was up with attacking the random person with no care in the world. it did not make sense. Wouldnt that be the opposite of what to do. the boy had complimented his taijutsu. even if it wasnt taijutsu. more just random training for the hell of whatever he wanted. But it felt so much more....how would it be said. better, to not think then act with his own touch on things. Kenal then before even having the man touch kenals hand . ran off with a whisper. "Catch me if you can." and kenal ran for the gates after he left the village he continued to run.
