Re: Meeting of New

Zachariah listened to the words of the others. "Good Evening, Sameonna of the Underwater Village, and Hikou of Kirigakure. I am Zachariah Zarakami Delamoure of the Village of Skyscrapers" he said with a bow, flourishing his right arm to the side and twisting on his heels as he turned to face them. Standing up once again, he continued "To someone who grew up in the land where the sky is the limit already reached, the stars are the things you look up to. The clouds lay below your feet, soft, pillowy puffs of white, or tall, churning column of grey. And, who is to say the stars do not see us? Each star is thought to be a person, the eyes of a soul that has since passed on, forever looking over us, watching out for us. At least, that is what some believe. So who know, maybe the stars are where you can truly watch things. Or maybe they are only where humans go towards their whole life, to never reach it until the soul departs." He walked over to them during this time, gesturing into the heavens, moving his arms and hands with the story. "Why do you reach for the sky? Why do you reach for the stars? Maybe everyone does, but some do it more."

Sameonna listened with great intensity to the boy as he walked toward the two, his hand making flailing gesturing movements matching his hands toward the sky. "It would seem chivalrousness has not died in the world, eh Taka?" She scanned him up and down. Yes, he was most definitely a Chunin. She could sense his chakra perfectly. He wasn't dressed like a ninja though. He looked more along the lines of a victorian-style demonslayer. She thought it was actually pretty cool to meet someone who thinks outside of the strict clothing boundaries enforced by so many villages.
As he then spoke about the fact that he hailed from a place where the sky was already reached; where stars are the limit of their reach. She didn't know what to make of it, other than the fact that he'd be from the Skyscraper Village. It was famous for its multitudes of extremely high towers. The size of them was said to be unimaginable. She was interested more than ever. "I look toward the stars to guide me to my next destined location to further my conquest of knowledge and quench my thirst for an immense jutsu arsenal, with skills to match their quality and capability. My dreams are placed from beyond, and my path is marked by the stars we now speak about. I simply help them decide my fate by walking it."

In responds to Sameonna I smiled. "Not many these days.". I examined the man,he did seem to be older by a few years and I guess I could easily assume that he was a Chunnin. I turned around and smiled, looking over my shoulder. "You two enjoy your night and the marrow ahead. One day we will all meet again, hopefully not as enemies or in a war. On that day we will show each other how high into or past the sky we have gotten." I smiled and waved my right hand then went off in a run. I had to make it back home by tomarrows afternoon and it was already pretty late in the night. I had to run fast and run far. Not that bad as i saw it. As I ran I watched the clear sky while I still could.

Zachariah looked at the two. They were nice. "Chivalry? No, I do not think myself chivalrous. Chivalry is a code that is truly perfection. As no human is perfect, no human can be truly chivalrous. Maybe I show several qualities of it. I do not truly pay attention. In the end, however, everyone has their own time to act in that way. Maybe for just a few minutes, maybe for years and years." Zachariah thought on these words, and those of the others. "I reach for the stars. I have no true goal, no real reason I want them. At times I think that maybe, just maybe, my goal is to cleanse the world. Yet, I have no method by which to do this, and therefore no reason to hold this goal strong. Yet. One day, maybe I shall find the method. Maybe I will then realize my true goal. Or maybe find out what is not." A quick turn as Hikou started moving away was executed, a perfect circular motion following this persons movements. "Live long and prosper, Hikou! I as well hope to once again meet you, and agree with you one the circumstances."
Zachariah turned back around, spinning on his heels. "You say the stars guide our fates, no? Well, my beliefs are somewhat different. Humanity has a destined fate, each individual human included. Yet, I think there is no way to determine your own, nor anyone else's fate. We may not actively carve our own fate, but our actions are already a part of it. If you do nothing, your fate reflects that, even before you choose to do that. Each action is still an affect on your fate, even if it was taken into account before the start of time." Zachariah cleared his throat a little as the bell tower rung. Sixteen tones signaled an even hour. Eleven more signaled that it was 11 of the clock. The sky above signaled it to be PM. "Now, I must be finding lodgings for the night. Might you know of any place I should look? It appears those in the general area are closed up."

She laughed. "I believe the stars are what guide us because that is how my mother raised me.. She showed me that you can become anything you want if you train hard enough for it, and want it enough... I mean really want it enough.. I've dedicated my life to her satisfaction, to the point where I was under the strict commandment of her ANBU operatives at the age of 4. After her recent and unexpected death, however.. I just don't know what to do with myself. I came here on a goodfaith B-Rank mission for the Kazekage simply out of a form of depression." She looked down and back up. "But I'd never lose my faith in what I've become or who I am. I've come too far to fall back and let the world pass me by. I'd be nothing less than a fool."
As the clock rung in the distance, its alarming bell could alert anyone who was sleeping, and probably wake them up in the process. It was a pretty unnerving sound to say the least. Especially in the desert, at night; in complete silence. Only the eerieness of the shadows remain at this hour. She heard as he spoke about a possible inn or resting place Sameonna had knowledge of. Truth was, she didn't. This was the first time in the village. Ever. She shook her head no, unfortunately. "Oddly enough," she cleared her throat. "I actually don't know anywhere that has a bed either of us could rest our heads. This is my first time ever visiting this village to be honest."She laughed accordingly to the mood, a hearty giggle. "Sorry!" She'd apologize in a pleading manner.

"Anbu trained at four? Wow oh wow. And (sorry to hear about your mom), your already doing B ranked missions?" Zachariah was most certainly impressed. This was uite the tale for someone who looked so young as she. It was unfortunate about her mother but sad as it may be, those things happened. You have to move past them, and learn to deal with them, or else they become destructive.
Then, hearing the last of her words, Zachariah replied "It's ok, it's ok. I'll just have to start searching around for one. If you wish, you may accompany me." With that, Zach would start on his way looking for a place to spend the night. There were several inns around him, but all had closed up for the night. For some reason, he had a feeling he would be stuck at some out-of-the-way, not so nice place. He didn't want to be in such a place... especially if there was a child (a ninja, and obviously strong, but still a child) who might also be looking for a place to stay. Zachariah prepared for a possibly long night.

She'd nod and follow along with him, looking for a place they could rest. As far as she could see, the only things around this neighborhood were shoddy shacks of beaten families or small marketing tents with chickens going rampant within cages. At this time of night, it was rumored in Sunagakure that highwaymen or thieves roam these parts of the village to find unweary travelers to rob. But Sameonna was in high doubt that tonight would be one of those nights. And if it was? So what? She had another powerful ninja to accompany her in her conquest of bashing their faces in.
"Yes.. Anbu. My mother had a strict regiment she'd force me to follow. But I'd do it, willingly. Anything to make her happy." She'd smile, looking up at the sky. She'd refocus her vision ahead on Zachariah. "You sound as if me going on B-Ranked missions is odd to you. Haven't you went on any high-ranked missions as of late?" She'd flip her hair and brush the remaining strands away from her face to clear her eyesight. Sameonna would continue looking around with every step taken, peering down alleyways shrouded by darkness and looking at sleeping bums pressed against the corners of walls, smothered in blankets next to an oil tankard, ablaze with trash.

Zachariah looked around them. They were walking through a.. to put it simply, you would not be caught dead walking through this part of town in the middle of the night if you were anything above drunk. Well, they weren't drunk. And they were alive, walking through this part of town. Oh boy he thought, as he looked at the cock fighting rings and the cages of chickens missing eyes and patches of feathers. Little chirps and squeaks came every now and then as the sounds of scuttling feet could be heard. They were unlikely to find anything in these parts at all suitable as a place to stay. Yet, they had no clue where to go, and continued walking.
“Well, yes I have, I just recently finished a trek into the frozen lands of the North. But, the reason behind my surprised voice was...” This was a bit of an awkward moment. He didn't really want to state what his thought process had been, her being young and completing B rank missions. She was most certainly ahead of the game.
Zachariah was saved by a crash, and whispers. He stopped, and brought his hands closer together. “Did you hear that?” he would say as several people would step out of the darkness around them. Well hello there, you two. It's not safe in these here parts. Maybe you would like us to escort you out and into the main streets? For a fee that is.” The man held a large metal pipe in one hand, and he was banging it lightly on his other, making a metallic clanking sounds. Others were doing similar things, and two or three had daggers.
“You just made a big mistake, buddy” Zach would say as his hands flew together. A deep breath in, and then out came, along with the breath, the hot, sticky steam. At over 100 degrees celcius, only the current lack of density of the steam kept them from burning. Zachariah quickly adjusted this, decreasing the volume and pressure, guesstimating the proportion that would reduce the temperature to barely tolerable levels, about 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Zachariah, even in his heavy clothing, would be perfectly fine in the steam, which would now be nearly impossible to see through. A loud whistling would be heard as tea kettles in the area each simultaneously went off, their entire water content vaporizing, moving to encircle Zachariah and Sam. There was not much; Zachariah had yet to do much more formal training with his Kekkai Genkai. However, there was enough to cover them, and a circle beyond. Zachariah threw on his goggles and switched their mode. He would be looking for areas that lacked heat, indicating a persons presence. He was not sure what Sam would do, but, whatever happened, hopefully she could continue to fight in the milky white of the steam.
