Rathina Ren Yuki's stamina training
Mon Jun 11, 2012 7:17 pm
Rathina grunted, falling to the ground in exhaustion. Her breathing was hard as she glared at the tree. Oh this was fantastic. It was so wonderful. No, really, people should applaud that Rathina Ren Yuki could not even leap through a tree. In the academy, Rathina had always known Stamina was a weak point. But instead of training for it, Rathina gripped the grass blades tightly in her finger tips, frustration bubbling up inside of her. She had always ended the fight quickly, never working on her stamina, hiding her weakness. Rathina glared up at the tree, a strand of loose red hair falling across her forehead. She had to stronger. Failure wasn't an option for her.
Rathina sighed, leaving the training ground and walking, without the usual chakra pumping in her feet. Her eyes widened as idea sparked her brain. Running would be a good idea. For example, if she ran for 5 minutes, than that is her current base. At her next workout she'd walk for 5 minutes, then she would run for 5 minutes and then walk again for 5 minutes and run for another 5 minutes. She could end with a cool down walk. She needed to keep working on improving the distance and stamina gradually.
She walked and walked. allowing her heart beat to slow. She ignored how her limps ached at the movement. Then, when the five minutes were up, Rathina ran quickly. Her speed was perfect, but than that was expected of a ninja from the Yuki clan. Rathina pushed her little body, feet pounding against the white rocky cement. But soon enough, her legs grew tired. Rathina wanted so badly to collapse, but refused to, pushing her little body forward. She had goals. She had dreams. Her legs moved quicker even as her muscles ached. She had to get stronger.... to avenge her parents death. It took 20 minutes for her body to collapse, her chibi face wearing a rare grin. Her stamina stll sucked, but know she was just could last a little bit master. "Mother, father," Rathina whispered, grabbing hold of a nearby tree to haul herself up. "I will avenge you," Rathina Ren Yuki said, before her small 9 year old body fell under the shade of the trees and her eyes closed.
Flashback:
"I know I don't say it very often," Rathina's father said, pausing in his book and looking up at his daughter. She closed her book and looked back at him, blinking those innocent red eyes at him. "Yes, father?" Rathina asked, making her father's lips tip up. "I am proud of you," he said, pressing his large hand on the top of her red hair. and meeting her confused red orbs, "You will be a very strong ninja."
End Flashback

Rathina let out a large gulp of much needed air, spitting out the salt water and scowling. She frowned. Swimming was a great way to build stamina, Rathina added snarkily, even the salt water burning her eyes was just oh so lovely. Rathina sighed and swam closer to the shore, the waves pushing her backwards. It was rare to find a good bodies of water in the clash water and she simply decided to use the one where there was the least amount of people.
Rathina took long back stroked through the water, ignoring the way her arms started to ache. The waved pushed at her tiny body again, and Rathina's eyebrows ticks in annoyance. How long had she done this? Three or fours hours, Rathina guessed, seeing the sun starting to go down. Rathina finally reached the shore and collapsed. Three hours, with only three five minute breaks. It was pretty good.
Rathina sighed once again as her arms pulsed when she tried pushing herself up. She had to get home and stop sleeping at her training sight. It was no good to be caught unawares by foes of her village and plus, Rathina's eyes softened a smidgen, Baa-chan got worried. With thoes thoughts in mine, Rathina found the strength to push herself up and run for ten minutes. Then, she walked for ten minutes. Then, she ran for ten minutes. Then, she walked for ten minutes and Rathina's lips quirked upwards. Baa-chan smiled and gathered a towel around Rathina and kissing her short red messy mop of hair, making Rathina's smile widen. She was home.

Approved +1 Stamina +1 Jutsu Points.
Again, this is still the wrong place for the topic. Needs to be done in the village or somewhere like that. I'm gonna go ahead and move the topic ._. Just remember that for other training topics. This is a Skill Request area.
