Mission Name: The light at the end of the tunnel

Task:
A large tunnel has been found on the outskirts of the village. The
tunnel is suspected to lead into the village. You are to investigate the
tunnel and find out where it leads to.

Kenchi would be sitting on the desk near his bed, starring out his window as he sharpened and polished his swords and kunai. The village had been less active for the pass few days. There had been little to no crime activity. Kenchi also noticed that the number of kirigakure ninja had risen exponentially, since the time he had graduated from the academy. Kenchi watched out of his window as the mist hovered over the village. He finished with his swords and began to walk to the door. While doing this he heard a small tap in the hallway, as if something had been dropped onto the floor. Kenchi, opened the door and looked out into the hallway of the apartment building. He saw nothing, but a small scroll on the floor. He slowly picked it up and began to unfold it to browse its contents. Another mission, Kenchi thought as he read the scroll. Apparently there was a tunnel outside of the village that needed to be investigated. Kenchi sighed and threw the scroll onto his bed. He walked over to his desk and began to dress in his chuunin attire for the mission. He did not bother to strap his sword on his back, he simply lifted it up over his right shoulder and began to carry it that way. He walked through the village and began to head straight to where the hole was said to have been. Kenchi only had once C-rank and two more B-rank missions to complete before he became a Jounin. Kenchi sighed as he reached the entrance to the large whole, that led into the ground. Kenchi bent down and got on his hands and knees and began to crawl into the hole. From what it looked like it appeared to be just dirt, but he still was curious to the reason behind building such a thing.While crawling through the tunnel Kenchi realized the more further he got, the more room there was. Eventually there was enough room for him to stand up in the tunnel. He still continued further, not yet noticing anything out of the ordinary. He could tell he was close to the end of the tunnel when he heard a quick shuffle of feet. Kenchi turned around and raised up his sword just in time to block off an attack from a shovel. Kenchi looked at the man in front of him, He was stocky and well built. Kenchi knew he could not underestimate him. Kenchi bent his knees slightly and dashed forwards, cutting the guy in half. The reason he wasted no time was because he saw something odd on the man. There was a Kirigakure headband hanging out of his pocket with a line crossed through it. The mission was hastily complete. Kenchi began to leave to collect his reward.

Kenchi would wake up and immediately grab his headband from the side of his bead, He would quickly fasten it around his forehead and roll over out of the bed. He would begin to dress up appropriately for the mission he had today. He had received the request the previous day. There was an infamous serial killer that needed to be escorted to his sentencing. Kenchi remembered hearing of the serial killer and his numerous victims when he was a child. He felt delighted that justice had finally caught up with the man and he would soon be receiving sentencing for the crimes he had committed.

After Kenchi was done getting ready for his mission, preparing himself with weapons and that sort. He would begin to walk towards the front of the village. He was told by a higher ranking shinobi that they would meet up in the forest. Kenchi wasted no time, he wanted to be the first to arrive at the seen to show that he was serious about doing this mission.

Kenchi arrived in the forest and saw the caravan and a shinobi guarding it. I guess I'm not the first to arrive early, Kenchi would think as he approached the caravan his hands in his pockets and his shoulder hunched over. "You can stand-by I'll take over from here." Kenchi would tell the shinobi, he would lower his voice to make it sound more manly while doing this. The shinobi would salute Kenchi and disappear in a cloud of smoke. Kenchi would approach the caravan softly his knees buckling from nervousness of meeting the killer. Kenchi would pull back the curtains and reveal the identity of the killer. Kenchi could not see his face because it was covered by a mask. "Get out." Kenchi would say to the man. He would follow his orders and carefully get out of the caravan.

Kenchi would begin to escort the man towards the building. He would let the man stay ahead of him, so he could observe him. "Weak...all of you are weak." The man would say behind the mask. This angered Kenchi. Kenchi punched the man square in the face, sending him flying backwards.
Kenchi would then reach out his right arm and catch the man by his shirt. He would pull him in closer to him and peer deep within the man's eyes and say, "Shut up!" He would then let the man go and continue to escort him to the village. "The bloody mist, huh. Bunch of sissies are turning this into wonderland." The man would say, obviously trying to get under Kenchi's skin. Kenchi would ignore the man, seeing that all he wanted to do was get a reaction out of him. The man would then suddenly laugh as they were now closer to the village. "Now." He would say. Suddenly a group of men all dressed in black would appear from the forest. One of them would take the prisoner and then body flicker away with him. Five of them would then surround Kenchi and attempt to back him into a corner. Kenchi would smile and sprint towards the nearest guy to him he would then feint a punch with his right hand at the man. At the last second he would pull out and leap into the air. He would reach towards his back and draw his sword. He would then slam it downwards saying, "Heavens slam!" The sword would grossly split the man completely in half. The other men would react to this as if nothing happened. From this Kenchi could tell that they were experienced, in the dangers of fighting. Within a matter of seconds Kenchi would kill the men, wasting no time and making it as messy as possible. Once Kenchi was done he left the location quickly using body flicker. He was easily able to find the man because of the direction they were headed. Kenchi approached them quickly and decapitated the man instantly using his technique swallow. The prisoner would look up at Kenchi, his mask now gone with a small smile on his face. "The bloody mist is still here I see." he would say before Kenchi knocked him out onto the ground. Kenchi would carry the man back to the village slumped over his shoulder. The mission was complete.

Task: The daughter
of an important man in your village has been kidnapped. You are to bring the
daughter back alive and kill the ones responsible for kidnapping her.

Kenchi was there when it happened. He was sitting down on a stool at a food
bar, when he saw this girl walk in. Though it was odd because she was heavily
guarded by a group of men dressed in black and white suits. Kenchi slurped out
of is noodles as he looked at the girl from the corner of his eye. Then there
was a loud bang outside of the bar. Kenchi turned around, but he could not see
a thing because of the sudden mist that flooded the area. Kenchi grabbed the
handle of his sword that was on his back, but he did not draw it because he
would be un aware if civilians were around him. Kenchi grunted and waited for
the mist to clear. When it finally cleared The girl was no where to be seen and
some of the civilians were hurt. Kenchi waited for the meds. to arrive and when
hey finally did he told them of the situation that had occurred before him. One
of the medics looked at him and said, "That was the right move you made,
not drawing your sword." Kenchi would just nod and walk towards the head
shinobi that was around. "Can I take this mission." Kenchi would say,
his voice dry and steady. "I see how much this means to you, sure you can
take it." He would reply and with that Kenchi would body flicker back to
his apartment. He would quickly grab the mask he was looking for, which aloud him
to be unaffected by poison. Once preparation was complete, he would body
flicker again outside of the village. Kenchi would walk around looking for any
leads to where the girl might be being held captive. He followed the footprints
until they led him to a heavily guarded castle. It appeared as if a different
person was controlling Kenchi, where his regular personality was to always stay
back and observe situations, this time Kenchi would walk straight through the
gate his sword in his left hand. He would then look ahead at the two man in
front of him. Kenchi could tell already that the men were just brutes with no
real training. Kenchi would use his speed to his advantage t overwhelm them. He
would slash the first man with his sword and then he would behead the man
standing next to him. The first man that was slashed would think that
everything was alright, until the effects of Black X Calibur kicked in. The man
would begin to loos all of the remaining percentage of water in his body.
Kenchi would smirk a bit under his mask, but he would continue forward to find
the girl. He would kill all of the men that were in his way, without little
mercy and remorse, giving some of them fast deaths and some of them slow and
painful deaths. Kenchi would finally reach the top room of the castle and he
would see the girl. She was chained and bound by steel. Kenchi would grimace
and take a step forward. "Don’t you move again." He would here a
steady calm voice say beside him. “If you move then the girl is dead.” He would
say agin. Then two men would grab hold of both of Kenchi’s arms and drag him
towards a wall. Kenchi knew that this
was a bad situation he was in. If he tried to attack the men then the girl
would die. However if he stayed stationary then the girl would be abused and
held at ransom. In his mind he would try to come up with a responsible way to
save the girl. That was likely to result in less damage. Kenchi would quickly
move over slightly and lift his knee. Hitting the man to his left in the
growing. Since his left hand was now free from the man’s grasp. He would reach
towards his back and pull out his weapon Black X Calibur. He would slice the
man to his right in half. He would then body flicker beside the girl and free
her of the chains. From the corner of his eye he saw some one trying to escape.
He would draw a kunai from his pouch at his side. He would then throw it
towards the back of the man; head, instantly killing him. The girl was free and
the mission was finally complete.

Task:Poachers have managed to kidnap a few endangered species from their habitats, locate and free the endangered animals before any harm can come to them. It would be preferred to use no violence, however if needed, and only if needed you can take the animals by force.

Kenchi woke early in the morning from a nightmare. He had dreamt that the entire world was ablaze and many people were killed. More importantly he could see the deaths of the people in his village. Kenchi shivered a little as he got out of the bed. He was still a little shocked from the dream. He then dressed himself in his chuunin attire and left the apartment without saying a word.

Kenchi arrived in a pretty isloated place. He was waiting for a shinobi from his village to arrive and assign him a mission he needed to complete. Kenchi was happy that this would be his last mission before becoming a Jounin. He was excited and curious at the same time. He could not wait for the mission to be completed, so that he could claim his title. The village had been on lock down lately, do to reasons that are unknown to Kenchi. Kenchi heard that no one could leave or enter the village and that if they attempted to they would be arrested on sight. It was a little depressing that he could not freely leave his village when he wanted to, but he did not care. Kenchi had rarely ever left the village anyway. He only left when absolutely necessary. Like to train and other things of the sort. Whats the hold up Kenchi thought to himself as he silently waited for the shinobi to arrive with the details of his mission.


The shinobi finally arrived late at night. "Sorry for the lateness we were just gathering some information on the mission." The shinobi said. "No problem, if it will help with the completion of the mission then it is welcomed." Kenchi said with a smile on his face to the shinobi in front of him. "Well, here you go and happy hunting." The shinobi would say before handing Kenchi a scroll and dispersing in a loud of smoke. "Happy hunting, huh." Kenchi would say to himself while opening the scroll. 'Endangered Species' he would read on the scroll. Aparently he was just suppose to capture these animals and get them away from their poachers. Kenchi smiled as he folded the scroll. Hopefully this mission will be a breeze. I hope so at least. He placed it in his pocket and body flickered away to the location.

Kenchi finally arrived at the place. It appeared to be a farmhouse or something close to it. Kenchi would be aware to keep his gaurd up as he approached the strange building. A multi-weave mask covering his mouth and a ninjato in his left hand. Kenchi observed the building. He begin to slowly pace around the building, until he reached a window. "I wonder." Kenchi said to himself before kneeling on one knee, ducking down and lifting his head slowly so just his eyes peered through the window. What Kenchi saw was inhumane. There were many animals hung on hooks in the farm. He could hear the distinct and faint cries of some of the animals that were hung. Along the hay filled floor were deep red blood stains they appeared to be fresh by the looks of it. Which meant that someone was in there while this was happening and they were not doing a thing about it. Kenchi had seen enough. He shethed his ninjato back at his side and drew his black x calilbur. The blade glew brightly in the moon lit night.

Kenchi held his sword firmly in his right hand and slammed it forward at the window. It easily smashed through the window and some of the material around it. Kenchi walked straight through the knew hole he had created. He looked from left to right as he walked forward. He was furious and angry. From the corner of his left eye he could make out a small movement. Not enough to cause enough attention, but still in all, the way Kenchi felt he did not care. He quickly drew a kunai and with great accuracy he through it at the figure. He heard a shriek and a loud thud. 'So they are here.' Kenchi thought. He stood in the middle of the farm where there were many cages, containing the animals he was sent their for. Soon an arrow whizzed pass him, nicking his face slightly. Kenchi smiled and touched the bloody spo on his face. Kenchi performed a single hand seal and body flickered towards where the arrow came from. Kenchi stood behind a tall frail man who looked to be in his mid thirty's. Kenchi swiftly chopped at the man with his sword, cutting him in half. The blood from the attack spewed out onto the clothing and body of Kenchi. Kenchi ignored it and walked around the barn some more, before finally saying, "If anyone else is here come out and fight me and I will promise you a swift death." Kenchi's voice was cold and carried no emotion. Still no one responded. Kenchi was angered at this too. He knew that it would be imposible for just two men to capture all of the animals they had in captivity. Kenchi would not be satisfied unless he got rid of all of the poachers.

Kenchi paced around the barn for hours and finally left after not finding any people. Kenchi looked through the fields carefully and noticed a weird rock that seemed to be isolated away from the others and kinda weird. Kenchi walked towards the rocked and began to notice that the rock was beginning to shake, almost as if it was quivering. Kenchi slowly reached out his hand to touch the rock, when a cloud of smoke appeared in front of him. 'Transformation technique?" Kenchi thought to himself as he leapt backwards two meters. He saw that their was a kid in front of him that appeared to be his age. Kenchi was alarmed that the kid would be at the farm and possibly a poacher.

Kenchi stood still a moment before saying, "Are you responsible for the captivity of the dead animals?" Kenchi waited a little for a response. He knew he must have looked weird, being covered in blood and all. "No." The kid simply replied to Kenchi. "Good glad to hear that you did not play a part in this, now go home!" Kenchi saud to the kid before turning around. He felt the wind change a little from behind him, he turned around and raised his sword to meet a ninjato. Kenchi snickered a little bit as he easily over powered the kid. He sent the kid flying backwards onto the grown.

Kenchi slowly walked forwards to the kid, who was paralyzed with fear. "You lied to me." "I am sorry." The kid said between sobs, Kenchi could hear the emotion in his voice. "I am sorry too." Kenchi simply said before bringing his sword down onto the kid, instantly killing him. Kenchi walked back to the farm and after observing the area many more times he realized that he had killed all of the poachers that were responsible for the animals captivation. Or so it seemed at the time. He was only a little saddened on the out come of his mission. He had not wanted to kill any one unless necessary, let alone a kid. Kenchi was beginning to feel the worse feeling he had ever felt his whole life. He knew he was not a cold blooded killer, but he could be when necessary. What am I becoming? I am not a killer. I used to be a warm and energetic person before this, but now I kill every chance I get. I hate this. Kenchi thought to himself as he kneeled on the ground and alone he wept. For the first time the emotions inside of him that he had been keeping hidden boiled over to the outside and it felt good to be honest with himselft for once.

Kenchi freed each animal and watched as they all went away from him. He was saitisfied with his work and happy that the animals were free. Kenchi slowly walkd back to the village to report of his sucess. When suddenly a group of men appeared out of no where. "I figured as much." Kenchi said under the multi-weave mask. The men began to circle around him. Kenchi smirked a little underneath his mask. He was glad that he had not been in a hurry to leave. The first man approached Kenchi, and Kenchi simply drew his sword and walked pass the man. A few seconds later the man's head fell off. The ither man were shocked, but they still came after Kenchi. Kenchi was an experienced fighter, so he was able to easily evade the men's moves and kill them all with ease. Kenchi now stood alone. At his feet were the bodies of his enemies. Kenchi walked away again, this time without any interuption. With the completion of this mission, he could become a Jounin and become another step closer to his goal.
