More training (Mas and Stylx, P, NK)

Denkiteki awoke that morning ready to train, recently all of his mornings had been like that. He liked it, in the past few weeks he had grown far stronger then he had been, and now knew a number of useful jutsu as well. Not to mention I have some new allies Denkiteki thought, looking over at the giant scroll that sat near his bed. It was his summoning contract, the one he made with the snake Katsuro.
After getting dressed, Denkiteki made his way towards the training grounds, wearing his usual fitting black pants and a grey T-shirt. Like usual, he didn’t bring any of his weapons with him, and the only thing that even marked him as a shinobi was his headband that could be clearly seen on his forehead.
Denkiteki had awoken later then usual, so there were a few other shinobi already there when he had arrived. While he didn’t particularly like being around a lot of people, he didn’t mind that there were other shinobi around.
Deciding he would practice his Ninjutsu, Denkiteki tried to find a spot on the grounds where there wouldn’t be too many people nearby. He spotted one that was practically in the center of the training grounds, and decided it was sufficient.
He started practicing one of his newer jutsu, the Shadow Clone Jutsu. He had learned of the technique from a book he had read recently, and had decided to learn it. He was decent at it, but could only make a few clones.
Denkiteki did the singe hand seal needed for the technique, and a perfect clone of himself appeared in front of him. To make sure it was real and was working properly, he shook hands with it and had it walk around. He wanted to test his clones basic motor functions, to make sure he hadn’t done something wrong.

Training Day...
Stylx thought to himself, as he looked at the old, wood ceiling of his room. He gave a sharp exhale of breath as he lifted himself to a sitting position. He cracked his fingers and back before he took a step out of bed. It was early. The sun had broken through the hills of the Mist Village. As always, heavy dew blanketed the sharp, verdant grass. There were pockets of thick mist clouding valleys and mountain tops. Stylx took another deep breathe before stepping out of bed. He bathed in hot water and slowly dried off. The windows and doors of his old house were open. His parents were out working already. Cats and birds flew through the garden and the halls of Stylx's home (this was normal, though). Stylx got confidently dressed in his usual attire. Solid, pastel colors cloaked his body in preparation for the sunny, but chilly day ahead. He finished wrapping his neck in his scarf, and moved over to the shelves in his room. He assembled a portable container with plenty of medical supplies. The container was much like a tool kit, though it had plenty of space in the inside - so much so that you could fit a small animal inside it. Stylx packed it, neatly, with bandages, needles, thread, alcohol, water, syringes, vials, herbs, strange liquids, ingredients, and more. He grabbed a bag of ryo in case he would head into town for some food, but he knew he would probably spend most of his day at the training grounds and would come home.
Stylx walked three miles to the heart of the Mist. It was his first time, officially, going to the training grounds, so he had to report to the Academy for directions. He was given perplexed looks. He knew why. He knew that they knew that if he tried to punch a training dummy he would break his own wrist. He didn't mind, though. He wasn't there to punch rocks or trees, he was there to meet up his soon-to-be squad. Stylx walked through alleys and entrances until he got to the village's main wall. He could see the training grounds just a few feet from the edge of the village. Older Chunin were standing around the great opening as surveillance. The entire training ground was a large expanse of light colored dirt. It was about the size of a football field. There were trees and large boulders that students were practicing with. There was a large track around the grounds for endurance and speed practice. There was a small pond for the Mist ninja to practice their native water Jutsu. It felt like a park more than a training ground.
Stylx shuffled through his pockets, just suddenly remembering. He took out a small piece of crumpled paper and unraveled it. He could barely make out the message as the ink had been smudged. "MeEtaaT the BIg BOullLder" it seemed to read. He walked through the training grounds, marveling at the talented ninja sparring and training. After a short time he came upon a large boulder, somewhat in the center of the training grounds. There was an older looking boy next to it, practicing his cloning Jutsu. Stylx got closer, not knowing if it was the boy who left the message or not. He spoke out in a shrill voice, "Hello?" He whipped out the piece of paper again, noting that it was signed. "M-... Masato?"
The boy didn't answer, so Stylx turned away and looked toward the village. Is he late? Stylx thought to himself. Several minutes had past, and Stylx concluded that the boy didn't hear him. Stylx cleared his throat and spoke out once more.
"Excuse me? Are you Masato-San?"

(I really need to change my account name. Just so you know the character’s name is Denkiteki.)
Denkiteki was busy watching his clone, so he didn’t hear the boy behind him until he spoke a second time. Turning towards the noise, Denkiteki saw a boy about his height, though Denkiteki had a few inches on him. To Denkiteki, the boy didn’t look much like a shinobi. He didn’t seem to have much muscle on his body, he seemed to not be in shape at all. Of course, I’m not in the best of shape either. I may look fit but I get tired way to fast.
He assumed this was the boy Stylx, another Genin that wasn’t assigned to a team. Having gotten tired of working alone, Denkiteki had decided to build his own team. After finding out there was many other Genin without a team, Denkiteki did his best to do some research on some of the Genin his age. Trying to find others with skills that would work well in a team, Denkiteki realized that he would need a medical-nin. From what he understood, Stylx was a very gifted medical-nin. Where he seemed to lack in other areas, he made up for it with his skill in Medical Ninjutsu.
“Yes, that’s me. I assume you got my note? I asked for you to come here because I’m trying to form a team. I don’t know if I will be able to find a team leader of a higher rank, but there have just been so many Kiri shinobi without teams that I’ve decided something must be done. So, would you be interested?” Denkiteki hoped Stylx would accept. He was one of the only Genin in the village capable of using Medical-Ninjutsu.
As Denkiteki was talking to Stylx, his shadow clone released the technique that had created it, and it disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Stylx felt a surge of emotions flow through him when hearing Denkiteki's offer. At first he stepped back in fear. What happens if I am I not good enough? What if I'm more of a burden than a help... This is actually official... Stylx thought to himself. These thoughts left his head almost immediately. Stylx shook them out of his system, took a deep breath and looked at Denkiteki.
"I'd be honored to join you."
The words left Stylx's mouth a fifty-pound weight. His stomach emptied, but was replaced by a magnificent brew of feelings. Joy, nervousness, anticipation, and stress coursed through his veins. He realized he was so caught up in thinking that he forgot to keep breathing. He lost his balance, but quickly recovered. Stylx took a deep breath and look over his new teammate's shoulder, not wanting to look him in the eye. He scoffed and laughed, being flustered at the offer he was just accepting. He knew he could do it though; Deep inside, Stylx knew he was ready. There was a silence, but a fitting one. A team had just been created, and it was a satisfying for both Ninja standing in the vast training center.
"Well." Stylx finally said, "I guess we better get down to business." he said in a half-joking manner, as he grew anxious at the notion that Denkiteki may find him bossy or too assertive. "I'm Stylx, I'm a Medical Nin from Kirigakure. But, you probably already knew that." It was obvious Stylx was trying too hard. It was even obvious for Stylx himself. He scratched his head and looked down at the ground, kicking some dirt and small pebbles. He was already off to an awkward start.
"I... Uh. I have some medical supplies here." Stylx said after another long - but now awkward - pause. He got excited though, at the moment he started presenting his supplies to his new friend, and stopped becoming so socially defective. "I have your standard medical supplies: bandages, needle and thread, some alloy and alcohol for cleaning wounds... But, since I still have yet to master the Poison Removal Technique and stuff like that, I've prepared some elixirs... Heh... Kinda dumb..." Stylx said modestly, holding up a thin, long vial of pink liquid. At the bottom of the vial lay bright leaves and herbs. He vigorously shook the vial, mixing up the ingredients inside. They danced through the pink, but translucent, liquid beautifully. It shimmered as the sunlight hit the glass, creating a strobe-like effect of breathtaking hues. Stylx unscrewed the vial's cork, and a sweet aroma filled the air around them.
"Just your standard anti-poison. With a twist, of course." Stylx marveled at his own work for a second, but quickly sealed it and put it away, not wanting to act cocky or intrusive. "Sorry, uh. Heh... That was probably boring for you..." Stylx said, self-consciously.
After some time, Stylx looked up at Denkiteki and said, "You know, before we do any sort of training. I have to remind you that, as a medical-nin, my best training comes from live subjects. You wouldn't mind getting kunai'd would you?" Stylx paused. "Of course, it would only hurt for a second or two. I could easily fix it. Good as new. Promise."
Stylx sighed, sweating the fact that his new teammate probably views him as a sadistic, awkward, killer on the loose. "Sorry, that was weird... ..." Stylx coughed, and said quickly, trying to change the conversation topic, "Are there other um... Teammates in this team? I - I mean, people in this team?"

Before arranging the meeting Denkiteki had been unsure as to whether or not Stylx would be willing to join his team. He didn’t know the other boy, and Denkiteki didn’t know if anyone would be willing to form a team with him.
“I’d be honored to join you.”
A smile appeared on Denkiteki’s face, and he nodded. A concerned look appeared on his face as the boy seemed to forget his balance, laugh, and a number of other things. Is he alright? Denkiteki wondered what had happened, but the boy didn’t give him any answer, and instead moved on to another topic. Whether it was because he actually wanted to get down to business, or to avoid a conversation on what had just happened to him, Denkiteki didn’t know.
Denkiteki remained silent as the boy introduced himself, though he did put on an encouraging smile in hopes that Stylx wouldn’t feel so awkward. He could tell that the boy wasn’t that used to social interaction, and that he was probably really shy. Hopefully he will be able to get comfortable with the rest of the team once it’s been formed. It won’t be good if he remains this shy and awkward.
A silence passed between the two, Stylx feeling awkward and Denkiteki deep in thought, his expression now blank instead of having his usual smile on it. He was wondering about the other two he wanted on the team, and if they would be able to work well with someone as shy and awkward as Stylx seemed to be. Tank might work well with him, maybe. He seems like he would try and break Stylx out of his shell, or at least try and befriend him. How that would end though, Denkiteki wasn’t entirely sure. Then there was Minorin, the 9 year old Genin who Denkiteki had trained with not to long ago. She seems like she would be nice to him as well, though I am worried her kindness might come off as pity. I don’t know much about this guy, but I know I wouldn’t want a 9 year old pitying me.
Denkiteki’s thoughts were interrupted however, as Stylx began speaking once again. He wanted to show Denkiteki his medical supplies. He seemed to grow excited as he showed Denkiteki all of his equipment. Denkiteki looked over all of the equipment, all of it seemed to be in good condition. At least, as far as he could tell anyway. He knew a little bit about medical equipment, as his father was a medical-nin, but he wasn’t an expert.
The elixir that Stylx showed him looked interesting, the pink fluid with leaves and herbs at the bottom. Denkiteki wondered what the ‘twist’ was exactly, but decided against asking for now.
As Stylx put the elixir away and remarked that it must have been boring for Denkiteki, the young boy shook his head smirked, “No, I found it pretty interesting. I’m glad to see that you know what you are doing, and that you are prepared.”
Denkiteki found Stylx’s requesting strange, he wants me to let him cut me? Denkiteki’s smile disappeared for a moment as he raised an eyebrow, it was an odd request. However it didn’t seem like any harm would be done, so long as they were just small cuts.
Denkiteki’s smile returned to his face once more as he answered, “Yeah that is fine by me, just try not to cut me to bad. Where exactly do you want me to get cut?” he asked, assuming that Stylx was going to try and cut him, I hope he didn’t mean he was going to stab me. Denkiteki thought, wondering just how painful that would be. He had gotten cut a few times in his life, but never stabbed.
Stylx seemed to realize how odd his request was, and tried to change topics once again. This time he was inquiring as to if there would be others on the team,“Yes, there are a few others I intend on asking to join the team. Right now though, you are the only person I have asked.”

(It's been awhile, so I am skipping :/)
It wasn't long before the two had concluded their business together, and Denkiteki left to go find somewhere else to train. Stylx seemed like he might make a good teammate for when Denkiteki formed his team. He was a bit awkward, but Denkiteki didn’t really care much about that. The kid had the knowledge and probably the talent to be a great medical nin one day, and he seemed to be a nice enough guy.
Denkiteki waved to Stylx as he left, smiling as he turned away from the somewhat older boy. I should probably talk to the Mizukage, or some other higher up about forming the team. I am not in any position to lead anyone right now, I’m just a Genin. The best these other kids could call me is senpai, I wouldn’t actually be able to teach them anything, or properly lead them. I need to find a real leader to be at the head of my team, so that we can do well on missions, make a lot of money, and all become stronger in our own way.
But that would be after he was done training. He had barely gotten any training done before Stylx had arrived, only practicing his shadow clone technique. Maybe I’ll work on that some more…
