Unexpected Arrivals (Open; No Killin')
Thu Nov 01, 2012 1:47 am
She jumped from tree to tree in hidden obscurity. Atleast thats what she thought until a group of missing ninja highwaymen showed up to interrupt her; unknowing of what she was doing or caring about it. Sameonna immediately detected their chakra level. They were at least B-Rank shinobi. They threw a shuriken barrage at her, which hit her with force - causing her to use utsusemi, and appearing behind one of the two, her mist quickly enveloping the area entirely, as to where Viper and Echo would be engulfed.
She'd quickly slit the throat of one of the ninja while covered by the mist, backing away and hiding within the dense fog from the other shinobi. "We are gonna kill you, girl! One way or another!" He yelled out loudly, performing hand seals that exerted an emassed fireball toward her last known direction. The meteorite flailed through the clearing and toppled tons of trees, Sameonna still untouched. "Save it.. You are going to die.. Your partner has already been killed.. And if you really expect me to believe you will win by using such a weak jutsu to try and defeat a target you can't even see? You're obviously not much of a strategic or smart fighter either."
She'd bow her head. "I will allow you a choice.. If you turn around and leave, I will let you live. But if you choose to stay and fight, I will take your life. And it will be agonizingly painful, I promise-" She'd be interrupted by the ogre-like shinobi. "WHAT!? YOU KILLED ULIZU!? IMPOSSIBLE!" He clenched his fist, and performed a rapid extension of handseals; all pertinent to the activation of an extremely powerful fire jutsu. He screamed with rabid ferocity, "FIRE RELEASE: EXPLODING FLAME CRATER!" The ground began to crack beneath Sameonna's feet, this was the technique she was waiting for. She wanted to test her most powerful jutsu now. She'd use her extreme speed to sprint toward him, dashing for his body. Just as the fire was expelled from his hands, she'd absorb the mist entirely through opening her tenketsu. Her hands would grasp his and break them instantly; the sudden grapple and power exertion causing a massive shock wave-like boom throughout the area.
With a double-helix dropkick, she'd cripple his legs and force him to his knees. The Hidden Mist would provide equal shelter from above her torso - covering her face, which was now shrouded by anger. Activating a jutsu, she'd force the mists around her into a solid plateau of water - which would accordingly form into a pack of hundreds of rabid sharks. Upon release of their creators will, Sameonna let loose the caged demons of the ocean world upon the shinobi, tearing and rending his flesh in wake of their razor sharp teeth. Sitting down, she'd take a breather as the shinobi was finally finished off, dropping into a puddle of his own blood and gagging on what was left of his practically lifeless and pathetically frail body. She brushed the blonde strands from her face only to have them return to their rightful place beyond her right eye, covering what seemed to be a Sharingan. With what flames remained of the shinobi's technique - she took some free branches that had fallen onto the ground and formed them into a campfire position, igniting them and keeping warm under the facade of the Hidden Mist's summer weather, which was still considerably cold to most ninja.

Sameonna would look at the young boy who approached her - died blue hair that resembled the frosted arches of trees which surrounded the neighboring area. As he introduced himself as a Mist Ninja named Hozuki Mangetsu, she'd simply nod her head in approval of his approach, tossing her own Kirigakure Headband to his open palms. She was indeed from the Mist - and any ninja of the mist would certainly know the name of Sameonna when she spoke it. "My name is Sameonna Hoshigaki. The Shadow of the Mist." With that statement, any Mist ninja would know who she was and what she stood for. Being the only ninja, even at the age of 8, to venture off into the heart of the Land of Fire, Konoha, and devastatingly destroying the village as well as killing its former Hokage - in the process ending the war between Kirigakure and Konohagakure.
Renowned for the master over water techniques, as well as the Silent Killing technique - it would be an odd occasion that a ninja would not know of her existence. She flashed her own Silver Covenant Headband, which would further ensure him that she was of a neutral party, not wanting to induce some type of misunderstanding that would call for combat engagement. She'd smile and push her head forward, signaling for him to take a seat if he so wished. Now rotating a dead fish over the campfire, she'd offer him some accordingly in case he was hungry from his travels. "Its silverfish.. Not exactly good tasting but it helps produce muscular activity and gets the blood pumping."
She'd laugh, letting a slight giggle escape the foundation of her lips. She'd look at him as he stood there, a question stirring in her head. "So.." She'd take a breath after turning over yet another rotation of the basted fish. ".. What brings you out here? Certainly not the sights." She'd smile. Beside her was a vast arrangement of weapons - a few she received by also being a part of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. A small pouch of her renowned Razor-Wind Shuriken's, her Jade Serpentblade, her Sacrifar, and her Shinsaihamna, or earthquake hammer.

Sameonna would happily munch away at her fish, though making sure not to speak with a mouthful of seafood. That would be both disgusting and un-lady like of her. Than again, what was lady like about an eight year old girl who can unrelentlessly slaughter an entire village? Whatever the case may be, she was honorable.. And that would dishonor her. As Mangetsu flashed his shark teeth her Sharingan would catch onto his chakra signature - allowing Sameonna to dig deeper into his passive clan state. "Hmm.." She'd nod. "There are only two clans within the Mist that has members possessing sharp teeth. My clan, the Hoshigaki - and I'm assuming you're a Hozuki, judging by your chakra signature." She'd smile, hoping she was right. Sameonna was a sensory ninja, trained to do so by the Konoha ANBU squads before her initiation as its Captain. That was a long while ago however, and she was now a Sannin of Kirigakure.
Sameonna would finish a small portion of food that still remained in her mouth and ask another untimely question, or rather speak an untimely statement. "Judging by your chakra pools.. I'd say you were still probably training in the academy, if not already a graduated Genin." She'd smile again, a sly smirk spread across her face. "Have you fought anyone yet?" She'd ponder questionably. It was an odd question to ask, but it was customary for a Mist ninja to engage in a life-threatening fight before their initiation into the ninja world. Such cases were abnormally practiced in the lower regions of Kirigakure, but not the heartland where Hozuki and Hoshigaki hailed from.

Sameonna would overhear him talking about his honor and his pride. If there was one thing Sameonna respected, it was an individual who would do nothing less than to die for their country or their own code of honor. This pleased Sameonna in a way that cannot be described in words, so she simply did the best she could to compliment him on his vital determination. "You seem to be a determined individual.. You can go to the greatest lengths of the Earth and back and you will still seem unfaltered. Such aspects I can admire in a ninja. You have overwhelmingly earned my respect, Mangetsu Hozuki." Sameonna did her part in honoring her country, even risking her life to protect it by going to war by herself. Taking it a step further, she even ended it accordingly.
Sameonna pursued the conversation by inserting more bold statements. "It is good to know that you can push both yourself and your enemies to the brink of limitation. Though you should always keep in mind that in doing so, you can potentially render yourself in danger. I've rarely had the experience, so I cannot say much for that. Being a master in the Silent Killing technique, as well as mastery over various water jutsu, there has been many who have fallen to my blades and jutsu. Ranging from Academy Students, all the way up to the former Hokage of the Lands of Fire." Taking another bite and following its entry, to her stomach, she'd begin speaking again.
"In fact, the Sharingan that is astray within my vision is a testament to my power. It was claimed during the campaign I waged against Konoha. After the sudden illness of the Mizukage - and many allies dying throughout the time, I was the only lifeline this village had left. So I acted on impulse for the honor of my country by going there alone.." She'd look down and back up at the fire. "And by doing so, I was granted immortality in the words of man. Of course at the time, I was only eight years old, being a fresh academy graduate. Luckily, you hadn't had to go through the graduation phase I had to undergo. I had to fight six pre-graduated Genin, as well as ninety-four Academy Students. Such was an obligation to pass onto the rank of Genin."

Sameonna would listen intently to the boy as he spoke about his fight and about how he respects her for various reasons. Though the primary reason she thought he respected her for was due to his prior statement regarding how she doesn't look down on him despite the great incline she has based on her power level. "I would never look down on another ninja just because they are weaker than myself. In my own personal opinion - power is not judged on a scale of numbers or latters. It is judged on the basis of perception and detail. You hold great honor, with great honor comes responsibility and obligations. Ones that I can obviously see you fulfilling in both your near and distant future. That alone is enough for me to respect you and who you are."
She felt that she was getting to know this ninja quite well, especially because the conversation was going so smoothly. This was certainly something she hadn't anticipated while being out here fighting off those two poor excuses for shinobi. He explained how he has never pushed himself to his own limits, which made Sameonna wonder if he could handle himself in a battle to the death. "It is good that you know how to condition yourself during battle, Mangetsu. As to not be pushed to the brink while doing so to your enemy is a great feat. One that you should proudly stand against. But take into consideration that one day; I may have been from another nation and you and I crossed paths on the battlefield. You would have no choice but to exonerate all past forms of integrity and pride just to defend yourself against my defensive attacks. You must train, and become stronger. Thrive on the catwalk of honor and courage. Fight and survive, empower yourself to unimaginable heights as I have, myself."
She'd take a momentary breather before continuing. "Based on random circumstances.. My family was dispersed and killed off around the time of my birth, so I had no other outlook on life than to fight. My life has consisted of training and killing to pursue my dreams and goals. I had no other choice than to follow my own nindo and constitute the need for love over the desire and passion for blood and death. Although my goals have thus far been fulfilled - there are still many things I must do to achieve my own set standards for personal satisfaction. Just as you do." She'd smile at him, eyes closed and head knocked back to the side, munching on a small piece of silverfish in the process. All in all the conversation was completely serious, and although Mangetsu could probably see the depressive look bestowed upon her face, he could also probably tell that she tried to make the best of her life. And she did.
