Sparring with Banteki

Demetri walked along the forest roads and found a nice open spot and sat down to relax, leaning up against a tree his eyes closed thinking back to days before when he was here with arashi uzimaki where he had lost that spar thinking over what he had done wrong and what he had done right with out really thinking about it he started to weave hand signs going through his jutsu in his head and applying no chakra what so ever to it. He had started to do this after a few spars knowing that at any moment he may be called upon to use one of these jutsu to save his life or to even end another persons life. He wanted to take the Chunnin exams but knew if he tried to take them with the amount of skill that he had that he would not make it past the first round let alone win. Demetri opened his eyes and saw that his hands where moving on thier own accord almsot and stopped them sat back and relaxed his head against the tree and his eyes closed once again his hands started to move on thier own accord.

Banteki strutted down the forest roads, feeling a new sense of confidence in his abilities after putting up a fierce fight against the Kirigakure chunnin Denkiteki. He rounded a corner and noticed a genin sitting on a stump forming hand signs with his eyes closed. Banteki thought this was odd, since nothing appeared to be happening. He then realized that this must be the fellow gennin of his village that had summoned him to spar. He had received an invite from the gennin to train, he knew that this would be a necessary bonding experience, seeing that this gennin was of his rank and they might be conducting missions together in the future. Banteki summed up his opponent, he noticed that the boy was a bit sturdier than he, but Banteki could tell that he was not as fast and did not possess the vast chakra reserves that he had. Banteki felt that this fight would be a piece of cake, but decided to be polite about it. After the fight he had put up against Denkiteki, he knew he would crush this gennin under his heel, without severely injuring him of course; he was a comrade after all. Banteki grippe the katana at his hip, "Hello, my name is Banteki, I am the gennin that you summoned for a spar, without further ado, shall we begin?" Banteki did not feel like making small talk today, he wanted to fight. He would stand in a defensive position, feet shoulder-width apart. He would not draw his katana, rather he would point all ten of his fingertips straight at his opponent. He would wait for him to make the first move, he was going to rely on the superior speed that he was sure he possessed. A grin crept to his face, "I think that I'll have fun with this one..."

Demetri heard the boy, smiled and stood, his hands still weaving signs all the while, "My name is Demetri." He replied and saw that Banteki was not wanting to talk but rather fight he looked at the boy and though they seemed close in age he could see that he possed more strength by appearance and that he him self was severly lacking in the chakra department. None the less Demetri thought it would be better to move out and take him on long range if at all possible. He watched as the boys hands moved from his katana to all fingers pointing out at him. He ran towards the boy his hands staying on one seal all the while.

Banteki would laugh as Demetri charged towards him, he had fallen for his bait. Banteki would fire off all 10 of his fingertips as high speed projectiles using the 10-Finger Drilling Bullet technique. The projectiles would move faster than Demetri was running. If he did not stop his charge in less than a few steps, he would be drilled by all 10 of them, which would definitely leave him in no condition to fight any further. He would have to abandon his charge just mere seconds after he charged to avoid the bullets. If he did abandon his charge, Banteki would clear the distance between them with a massive leap, drawing his katana in mid-air, doing a front flip and thrusting down with immense force and strength across Demetri's chest using the Heaven's Slam Technique. He would use a bit less force than necessary, as to avoid killing the boy. However, there would be severe damage and Banteki would have to rush him to the hospital immediately, using the body flicker technique, he would get there in a few minutes. Banteki would feel a little bad about injuring the gennin so badly, but he had to test out his new skills, and the boy would be alright within a few days or a week.

Demetri smiled as the saw the boy use his jutsu the hand sign he had stopped on and the one he had put chakra through was the replacement technique. he countinued his charge and and actived the jutsu as the boys jutsu hit him. He appeared behind the boy and swung a fist to strike him in the back of his head if it connected then the boy would do a series of flips and if he ducked or tried to move his other hand was on his katana on his back which he meant to use to swing out at the boys legs to prevent him from moving around so much.

Since there were absolutely no logs in the area around the two fighting boys, Demetri attempted to use the substitution technique, but couldn't because there was nothing to replace himself with. Because of this, Demetri ran head on into Banteki's onslaught of bullets, all ten of them drilling into Demetri's torso. Demetri was thrown backwards and crashed into the stump that he was sitting on earlier, blood gushing from the little bullet holes. The bullets had done some pretty bad damage, but Demetri would be fine. Banteki would pick Demetri up and rush him to the hospital using the Body Flicker technique and leave him there for the doctors to take care of. Banteki's departing words to Demetri would be, "Choose your opponents more wisely next time, when you've gotten much stronger, then maybe you can consider fighting me again. I think that you have learned your lesson. I'm just trying to weed out all of the weak gennin in this village; to show them that they are not as strong as they think they are. Get stronger, think of me as a rival, this is what will truly make you great my friend. Good luck, and I look forward to fighting you when you actually have a decent amount of skill." With a grin, Banteki would depart and head back home.

Demetri felt the bulletes pass thourgh him and wondered how the boy had cleared every log out of the area that they were fighting in but didnt dwell on it as he had to tend to the bulltes that where in him. He was carried into the hospital and heard the words that the boy spoke. "I will get stronger and we will fight again." He said as the doctors took over

Banteki would hear the boy mutter, "I will get stronger," and he would grin. He was genuinely looking forward to fighting the boy again. He would depart into the beautiful twilight and head home. Waiting for the day when his fellow Leaf gennin would reach his level and they could spar again.
