Sword V. Staff (P, NK, Haru & Vret)

(Jutsus don't actually harm the person using them. Fireball Tech for example doesn't burn your own mouth, and Sasuke was able to manipulate lightning chakra through the Kusanagi. Ninja aren't THAT incompetent! Therefore, even if it is made of metal, I'm sure Haru - as an ANBU, no less... - is capable of manipulating said lightning chakra properly.)

[Ok ok Haru, I was under the impression that blacksmiths make metal objects and the only indestructible things are made of metal. My bad, this is Naruto, and I need to broaden my mind.

Lost if you are talking about my Lightning attuenment jutsu (I don't really know) the lightning chakra that I am infusing burns my skin because its so hot, so I lose health ans stamina because of it that way. It was the only way that I thought I could make an S ranked jutsu like that balanced, I aware of my jutsu's effect however if you do not like it then please let me know).

Sauske was able to manipulate it because he had lightning and fire as two of his elements. In the series Yamato couldn't manipulate lightning chakra and was paralyzed with chidori. Yamato was Anbu and definately not incompetent, yet he still was paralyzed becuase he could manipulate lightning.


Perhaps I don't know all the rules but I don't think Haru even has a chance to manipulate my chakra (which has a greater intensity than the chidori lightning frankly, as lightning literally drips from anything that I touch in this state.) unless Haru has lightning nature.

No matter, I just want to get back to playing, if Haru says that his sword is made out an indestructible not lightning conducting material then so be it. Otherwise my attack is same with or without him getting paralyzed. I will still get there in time to swing my bo staff at him the moment after Haru blocks the Kunai. Unless there is a problem with that as well?

All I want is to spar to see if my RP skills have gotten better and I thought this would be a fun match anyways, which I still think it will be.]

Secondly, you're doing really good, honestly I'm more mad at myself for not clarifying the sword's material (Kinda want it to be a surprise o-o) so I'll probably say that it is not metal, but I'll let the lightning go through, got a sort of uh mean way out xD.

Lastly, yeah Lost since Haru is ANBU if he had lightning he'd be fine, but he doesn't have lightning xD]

By describing your weapon as having a "rust" state, you are classifying the "durable material" as metal.

Its just a spar, so it doesn't really matter. But to prevent further confusion it might be better to make that edit if you wanted it made of a different substance.]

The lightning that he hadn't noticed right away that was coursing on the kunai had flowed through Tessaiga's blade portion yet Haru was unaffected by the lightning because of the rubber covering on the handle part of the sword which acted as a insulator for the lightning preventing it from harming Haru.

It seemed as though Vretyel was trying to make a big move in this spar, probably hoping that the lightning from the kunai had given him some sort of an advantage. Haru turned to the left and stabbed Tessaiga into the ground and used the blade itself to block Vretyel's staff. The force of the attack pushed Haru back a foot, Tessaiga ripping a line into the ground as it stayed in place blocking the staff.

Not heistating for a single second, he made a quick hand seal with his left hand and thrust the hand forward in the direction of Vretyel, who was only a little over 3 feet away, releasing four thin crystal needles from his left hand and right to Vretyel's chest, not aimed to hit any vital organs but aimed in a way to make it nearly impossible to avoid getting hit. Base on his own speed of performing this move and the close distance of range they were in even if Vretyel tried to dodge, the needles would still probably make contact on one of Vretyel's shoulders or arms, although nothing was set in stone.

Vretyel was indeed impressed that Haru's sword was able to block the lightning chakra from Vretyel. No matter, the attack would still continue. The moment that Vretyel and Haru's weapons clashed Vretyel activated his lightning attunement jutsus second ability causing lightning to explode in all directions 5 meters from the point where Vretyel's staff and Haru's sword met, just a few inches away from Haru. Since Haru's sword was charged with Vretyels lightning chakra from the Kunai throw and Vretyel was touching it Via his staff Vretyel activated his attunement jutsus second explosion on the sword just below the hilt. Again the epicenter of the explosion would be just inches from Haru, making both the explosions extremely difficult to dodge. Both explosions would happen simultaneously and if successful would leave Haru extremely paralyzed and with reduced speed.

Haru would then activate a jutsu that launched Crystal needles at Vretyel's chest, threatening to impale him. Although the needles were moving fast towards Vretyel his speed would be able to barely dodge to his right of the projectiles, since all of momentum was stopped from Haru's block, and haru's potentially reduced speed would slow the projectiles down further. The moment that Vretyel then dodged the attack he then took his staff and did a slam to Haru's left shoulder with all of his strength and at incredible speed. If successful the attack would break the shoulder bone and render his left arm useless for the rest of the spar. The attack would be difficult to dodge because of Haru's potentially reduced speed and his sword being in the ground, hopefully unable to block the attack.

This is the best fight that I have ever faced, Vretyel thought to himself.

Seeing at though the opponent Vretiel was facing had something more on his mind the moment before Vretiel would hit the man with his staff Vretiel Quickly jumped 50 meters behind him, landing right inside the forest but not hitting a tree or any other obstruction. With a quick handsign Vretiel would do the body flicker technique to get to get back to the village. Before he did so he said something to man.

"Got to go. it was fun." Vretiel would say, and then he depart in a puff of smoke. The man he was facing seemed to have a lot on his mind now and considered this fight a draw. Leaving to hopefully spar him again in the future.
