Eiji recently had woken up from a deep slumber, he did a few things when he got up. First of all he ran straight to the bathroom because he had forgotten to do so the night before, as he stood there doing the job in the toilet he took a few deep breaths of relaxation, in and out he thought to himself. After the longest pee in the world, roughly about 10 minutes since he was made of water and all, he went and took a long hot shower, another long thing Hozuki clan members do, which was about an hour and a half long. After brushing his teeth and getting clean clothes from the clothes line outside he dressed and went to go see how the village was doing. Once he was in the town center he looked around, there seemed to be tons of builders going down to the village gates, he stopped one of them to ask a question, "Hey, what's going on what happened to the village gates?" The man said, "In a hurry, but come down and help there was a storm last night and the gate got knocked down." Huh, he thought to himself, “I was really supposed to meet up with Syaoran for some strength training”, but he guessed this would be good enough moving construction parts and all, so he waited at the normal meeting spot for the little kid to show up, so he could tell him about what had happened at the village. He felt really stupid for not noticing the storm last night, he guessed that he liked water so much that it only felt natural that there were puddles everywhere, but then again he could have noticed the fallen down trees and some broken down houses. Eiji waited for a while, at least thirty to forty minutes, but Syaoran did not show up like he was supposed to. Eiji was confused, but he thought he knew what had happened. In the past few missions Eiji had been extremely late to arriving at the meeting point in the missions, so right now he supposed this was payback for that, he was probably right based on Syaoran being so young and probably always wanting his way. Eiji didn’t like Syaoran very much, he had just bailed on Eiji, but it wasn’t just that Eiji did not like the kid because first of all he wasn’t even 10 years old and his high pitch voice which hadn’t hit puberty yet was still around and secondly he was short and way too cocky, in Eiji’s eyes the boy was weaker than any ninja out there. All these thoughts racing through Eiji’s head resulted in hatred of the little boy, Eiji despised him so much maybe to even kill him, “Who knows? Anything can happen,” Eiji thought, “Maybe if I were to do a mission with him and I were to ‘accidently’ stab him a few times with a kunai or possibly drown him he would die and nobody would think anything about it.” But Eiji knew better than to make it so obvious, Eiji was crafty as well as sneaky, if he wanted to he could conjure up a plan to kill the kid without anyone getting suspicious at all, but that would have to wait for another day, Eiji had a mission to do today. Eiji decided he had waited for Syaoran to show up too long and got up and headed towards the broken village gate. Those builders definitely need his help especially by looking at their builds. Most of the builders were about five foot six inches and very large around the waist which meant there wouldn’t be much help from them, although there were a few bulky guys in the group working on the gate. Eiji walked down the path looked up at the men and asked casually, “Hey, do you guys need help or do you think you can do this on your own?” “I think we could use a little help,” said a chubby short man, maybe the director of the construction site, then there was a loud crash in the back. Another man had been carrying a log with two others and had dropped it on his foot and was screaming, the director looked back at Eiji, “Okay, maybe I sold that a little short, we need a lot of help and we would love it if you would.” Eiji gladly walked over and helped the men move the enormous log and set it up against the wall. After a few hours of everyone working hard they finished the gate and everyone was relieved. Eiji received a reward from the generous director and went off.
