Vergil Missions (B)

Vergil reached near his bed and grabbed the bottle of pain killers near him. His shoulder was pretty much healed since the thief stabbed him in his last mission two weeks ago. Vergil looked at himself in the mirror thta hung on the wall in front of him. His facial hair was just beginning to come in and it looked a little ruff. Vergil sighed as he got up from the bed, the meds already kicked in. He began to shave and once he was done with that he stepped outside for a breath of fresh air. He was hoping to get started on his B ranked mission soon, before it was too late and he did not feel like doing it anymore. Vergil looked across the village and saw something odd. There was a man standing on a tall building. He appeared to be protesting. Vergil always thought that protesters were some of the most bravest. Speaking their opinions against the law no matter what. They were truly interesting individuals.

Vergil came nearer to the 'protester' when he realized that it was in fact not a protester at all. It was just a man crying and complaining about the trails of life. Vergil made his way to the front of the crowd where a shinobi stood. "What is his problem." Vergil asked the shinobi. The shinobi frowned and said, "Suicidal maniac. Ay, you want to do this mission. All you have to do is stop that man up there from jumping down and killing himself." Vergil nodded his head and began to enter the building. Even inside the building he could hear the troubled man speaking. This man's life too was ruined by society. Vergil made the last rounds of the stir and opened the roof door. He stood behind the man, approaching him silently from behind. Vergil grabbed the man by his shirt and sort of pushed him forward. The man was close to falling, but Vergil held him suspened in the air, by his shirt. The man begin to scream loudly, panicking. "What are you doing?" Vergil frowned a bit and said, "Didn't you want to jump. I mean, I sort of thought this was what you came up here for and I saw that you could not do it so I just wanted to help a bit. Do you mind?" The man began to cry even more now, "I'm sorry, just let me go please. I don't want to die!" Vergil slung the man onto the ground of the roof.

He then stared down at him, with sort of a look of pity in his eye, but this quickly vanished as he became furious for seemingly no reason. 'What if I were to give up on my goals just as easily as this man did. I mean now, there is no pressure, but I am sure once I really begin to eliminate the Uchiha clan then there will be plenty of pressure. I may even die. So as long as I accomplish my goals. Even if it is just a portion of them. ' Vergil looked once more at the man as he sat on the ground safely. "The next time you set your mind to something do it fully." Vergil then passed the man, headed back to the shinobi to collect his ryo. As Vergil was headed down the steps, he noticed the man as he began to attempt another suicide maneouver. The man stood up and quickly began to sprint towards the ledge of the cliff. Vergil bodyflickered in the man's path, his solid and some what muscular frame, knocking the man backwards onto the ground. "Now that is the spirit." Vergil said, smiling that the man had not given up on his suicide attempt. On any other occasion he would have let the man fulfill his goal, by jumping from the ledge. Though Vergil could not let this happen because he wanted the ryo. So for now and till he got his ryo, the man had to live.

Was it alright that Vergil sometimes wanted the world to be better. He had never really sat down and thought about possible good outcomes for the world. What if he could be the one person to help the world progress into a more peaceful place. Possibly make all of the killing and things end? Vergil chuckled slightly as he thought of this. Some things...were just never meant to be. He then lit the cigarette that sat between his lips. Inhaling the smoke he removed the cigarette from his mouth and blew the smoke from it, the smoke spiraled around before turning into an O. It then dispersed. Vergil sat up from his chair, he was tired of thinking of things that were not possible. Maybe one day, but not now. Vergil walked out of his front door towards the shinobi HQ so that he could recieve his next mission if granted. He quietly passed the civilians, maneuvering through the crowds unnoticed and without making a sound.

Vergil arrived at the shinobi HQ, he walked up to a bald man, "Next mission." Was all Vergil said to the man, he was not in the mood for conversations. He just wanted the day to end quickly. The man looked at Vergil, "Yeah, let's see. You are looking for a B rank mission. tch...tch okay, I found one. There is something in the sewers. The vilagers are complaining about it, so find out what it is and put it to rest..okay." Vergil had already begun to walk away after hearing the basics for the mission. He heard the man whining behind him, calling him ignorant and rude. Vergil just continued on his path towards the sewers. He too was a bit curious on what was going on. He had heard the rumors of the 'sewer monster' from the villagers. At the time it sounded interesting enough for Vergil to look into it. It was just fate, he believed, that this particular mission was given to him.

Vergil knelt down on one knee, removing the top which covered the entrance to the sewer. Once the top was removed, Vergil leapt down towards the surface of the sewers, completely neglecting the ladder. Vergil landed onto the ground with a soft thud. He looked around himself and began to observe the sewers. He noticed that there was water running down the middle of the tunnel, the side of the tunnel being cemented enough that a person could walk on it. The waste from the village had a horrible smell. Luckily, Vergil had learned how to unfocus from some things. Vergil stopped thinking about unimportant matters and began to walk through the sewer. His sandals flopping loudly making noise. His location would be obvious to what ever was in the sewers. This was on purpose. Vergil wanted to get the mission done sooner, so he attempted to attract as much attention to himself as he could. Vergil heard a swift movement behind him. He turned around quickly and noticed that no one was there. He decided to activate his byakugan to help him, the chakra signature was clear and strong. Thee was obviously something elese in the sewers with him. Vergil kept his byakugan activated as he walked through the sewers. He noticed someone was following him and whoever he was, he was doing a bad job at it. Vergil heard the muffled footsteps behind him. Occasionally he would pretend to not know what was going on. After going board with whomever it was, Vergil stopped walking. "I'm tired of this game." He then removed the now small cigarette from his mouth. Throwing it into the waste in the sewer.

The man stepped out from behind a large wall. Vergil observed the man, studying his features and sizing him up. Once he felt that the man was no math to him, he sprinted towards the man, at a baffling speed. He ended his bref sprint behind the man. He thrusted his hand into the man spinning him around. Vergil bent his left leg and moved his right leg slightly in front of him. His mind now set on finishing the man off. "two palms, four palms, eight palms, sixteen palms. thirty two palms!! Ahhh, SIXTY FOUR PALMS!!!!" Vergils palm slammed into the mans chest knocking him into the waste filled water which flowed in the sewer. "Damn you...Hyuuga." Was all the man managed to say before he passed out unconcious.

"Damn us, Damn the Hyuuga clan. Which carries the strongest Dojutsu. The strongest and most determined clan on the planet and you say..Damn us? My clansmen would be pround to see you leave this planet."

Vergil says this in a rather cold manner. The man was unaware of what he said, but Vergil still felt the need to defend his clan. Thoughts entered his mind telling him to kill the man, but he would not dare do so. To have a scums blood on his hands was probably the worst thing he could have happen to him. Insted Vergil dragged the man all the way to the surface, exiting the sewer. He began to walk towards the shinobi HQ. The completion of this mission would leave him with one more left. A single 'A' rank mission. He knew the missions coming up would be even more challenging then the ones he had been doing.
