Pluto sat on the peak of the highest mountain, the mountain which he called Olympus, in the middle of the vast Kumogakure mountain range. This was the highest point in the sky nation, and Pluto sat upon it, looking down at the pitiful world with his cold eyes. His byakugan was activated, so he was able to see for a mile in all directions, as well as see chakra signatures, the second anybody approached his general vicinity, he would notice them. Pluto puffed smoke into the air from a tightly rolled cigar, sending clouds of black smoke towards the heavens as if to say ‘screw you’. Two unconscious bodies lay next to Pluto, weak ninja whom he had kidnapped for his own purposes. Pluto felt a strange sense of peace and tranquility being so high up and secluded from the vile humans. He got to escape the lowly scum of human civilization, he also felt closer to the heavens atop Olympus, making him feel like the god he was convinced that he was. Although Pluto enjoyed these times of peace, he had been on top of Olympus for hours, and was beginning to get bored. He scanned the area around him, looking for any lowly humans who might be unlucky enough to venture into his path, sighing when he saw none, Pluto decided to explore the mountains a bit. He got up and stretched out his cramped body, he had been sitting in the same position for quite a long time and needed to work the kinks out of his muscles. He roamed around the mountaintops for a bit, still seeing no sign of sentient life. That was when he noticed something very strange. With his byakugan, Pluto could see through solid objects, so he noticed a cavern behind some sort of rock wall. The wall was much flatter than the mountains around it, and there was a massive space hollowed out behind it. Pluto decided to look into the phenomena a bit closer. He walked up to the wall and examined it a bit more, he saw on the inside that there were dozens of prison cells stacked atop each other, on the bottom floor, there was a small arena of sorts. Grinning, Pluto decided if he could somehow gain entry to the hidden space. He pushed against the stone wall with all his might, but it did not budge, it stayed perfectly in place. Pluto pushed and pushed until his arms were sore, a from fell upon his face. He was beginning to become angered. Letting out a tremendous roar, pluto wound his arm back behind him and punched forward at the wall with all his strength. His knuckles collided with the wall with tremendous force, but again, it did not budge. His knuckles were now bruised, twisted, and bleeding. Pluto gazed at them with wide eyes. Blood? Weak humans bled, lowly mortals, the mighty Pluto did not bleed. Infuriated at the sight of his own blood, Pluto raised his head towards the heavens and bellowed, a mighty, fearsome cry. Narrowing his eyes and glancing back at the stone wall, an idea filled Pluto’s head. Gods did not need to rely on physical manifestations of power, it was the spiritual energy within them that differentiated them from mortals. Pluto pressed both of his palms firmly against the stone wall and channeled his chakra into them, allowing it to flow freely into the stone wall. Pluto’s ethereal energy seemed to have some effect on the previously unbudging wall, it slowly lowered itself into the earth beneath it. Before entering the cave, Pluto went back and fetched his precious cargo, the two unconscious boys, hoisting one over each shoulder. Grinning like a madman, Pluto ventured into the mouth of Olympus. Upon entering the mighty cave, the wall again closed behind Pluto, the mountain had swallowed him up. The interior of the cavern was dimly lit by candles, Pluto wondered how long they had been burning and if they ever flickered or went out. Still carrying his prisoners, Pluto ventured deeper into the massive realm. He was walking on some sort of arena, a large arena, he assumed that it was meant for battle. On all four sides of him in the square space, 3 identical cells lined each wall. They had steel bars secluding them from the main space, and each cell had a bunk bed with two mattresses inside. Pluto set the two boys on the ground and approached one of the cells. With a simple tug on one of the iron bars, the gate smoothly slid open, allowing Pluto entrance into the cell. Pluto examined the mechanism that allowed him to open the cell with such ease. There was no lock or space for a key, but it appeared that the cell could only be opened from the outside. Grinning, Pluto once again picked up the two young shinobi on the ground, Kenta Shino and Kinominki Uchiha, and set them each on a separate bunk, in the same cell. Once the two boys were inside, Pluto exited the cell and slid the door shut behind him. He decided that he would further explore his new hideout. Upon further examination and exploration, there were 3 levels, each with level with 12 cells like the first level. On the second and third levels, there were balconies, allowing Pluto to freely walk about the levels, yet it was not an enclosed floor. He could look down and see the arena. This was all that Pluto found at the moment, nothing else was to be seen, so he decided to exit the belly of Olympus. He walked up to where he had entered and placed both of his hands on the other side of the stone wall, in the same manner that he had used to enter. He channeled his divine chakra into the wall, and, once again, the wall lowered itself into the ground. Pluto exited the inside of the mountain, and the wall closed behind him once again. Pluto took a deep breath of fresh air when he was back outside; he had been beginning to get claustrophobic. Pluto was still appalled by what he had just found. It had all happened so fast, and by such coincidence! In the course of minutes, he had simply stumbled upon a hideout, a strategic location that he could use for many future plans. It was as if the entire thing had been set up specifically for him, a gift from the heavens. It was amazing how the wall had recognized Pluto’s specific chakra signature, heeding to his will the second he channeled his chakra into it. It also, conveniently, provided a place where he could store his two new prisoners, without the possibility of them escaping. Pluto let out a wild and maniacal laugh, thinking of everything that was going to unfold in his new hideout. He decided to have a little fun with the idea, throw himself a little party to commemorate this great day. His idea was this: when the two boys woke up, he was going to make them, to force them, to fight to the death. They would be given no choice, or they would both die. Pluto thought that it would be fun to watch the two innocent young shinobi fight to the death, slaughter each other just to preserve their own pathetic lives. In the meantime, while Pluto waited for the two boys to wake up, he decided to focus his chakra some more, as a truly divine being must be fully in control of his spiritual energy. Pluto sat on the ground, cross-legged, and formed the ram hand seal. He began to focus his chakra throughout his whole body, allowing it to flow through his chakra circulatory system uninhibited. Pluto felt the energy coursing through his soul, stimulating his very being. As the chakra flowed through his system, he thought about how far he had come, he thought about his transformation from lowly neighborhood serial killer Mack the Knife, to the God of Death, Pluto. His desire for power had been piqued when he was just a little kid, essentially enslaved by the brutal Yutakas. His father had been his only friend, the only person whom he saw on a regular basis and could talk to and look up to. When Pluto’s father died, it was as if he had lost everything, as if everything had been taken from him, he did not know what else to do. He had lost all hope, falling into a web of grief, depression, and despair. A bottomless pit from which he saw no way out. Plutohad descended into the slums of Kumogakure, living on barely anything at all, doing low-ranked ninja missions to get by. That, or he would kill and loot innocent civilians. He would then proceed to waste most of his money at bars, getting drunk and having exploits with numerous women. Things all of a sudden began to change one day. Pluto had performed an S-ranked mission in which he was to rid the village of 30 attacking bandits. He had slaughtered all 30 of the bandits with little help. That day, Pluto had begun to realize his true purpose on earth: to bring judgement upon the lowly and pathetic human race. To weed out the weak and create a society of the strong, to purify the human race. And once he had found the strong ones, Pluto was to destroy the rest, anything left on earth, any civilization, he would destroy it all, claiming the planet for himself.
Pluto finished his meditating after a good hour, feeling sufficiently in touch with his spiritual energy. He felt stronger, more powerful, and more invigorated. He opened his eyes just in time to see a human climbing over the peak of Olympus. Immediately, Pluto jumped up from where he was seated, narrowing his eyes.
“You dare intrude on Lord Pluto’s territory?” He shouted all of a sudden, posing an ominous question, “You think you are worthy enough to stand atop Olympus with the great God of Death? You shall meet the wrath of Pluto!” As Pluto shouted this last phrase, he lifted his palm and pointed it towards the other human’s chest. He released a compressed vacuum shell from his palm, a form of gentle fist compressed and aimed at a single point. The vacuum palm went spiraling right towards the center of the guy’s chest. Just as the man pulls himself over the ledge, his eyes wide. The vacuum palm is shot towards him at well over the speed of teleportation. It hits him right in the center of the chest, not only tearing a whole through him, but blowing him off the face of Olympus to fall to his death far below. Blood spattered the rocks where he had been climbing.
“Witness as I slaughter another one of your kind vile humans![/i Mack shouted all of a sudden, beginning another one of his hellish parables [i]“Let that be a warning to you! Anybody who tries to stand at my level, to climb to the face of Olympus and stare Death himself in the eyes, without first proving their worth, shall be promptly slaughtered, without a moment of hesitation! The time is drawing closer people, the time for Pluto to deliver justice upon you. Come to me in hopes of salvation, and perhaps you might be spared.”
Pluto wondered how the humans of Kumogakure reacted when they heard his godly cries from the mountains. He wondered if they were legitimately scared, like they should be, or if they merely thought he was some madman who lived in the mountains. He certainly was not. He had now warned the humans twice, once the third warning was issues, those who had not approached him for salvation would be slaughtered. Pluto looked forward to the day when it would be time to cast judgement on the human race. It would be a very enjoyable experience, but for now, he must wait. He must get stronger and train, for he was not yet strong enough to take on whole villages, nor did he have enough followers. Pluto was still at the rank of gennin, he had not attained nearly enough knowledge of the ninja world and the many techniques that existed in it. Pluto made up for his low rank with his natural abilities, raw skill, and physical prowess. Ranks did not mean much to him at this point, they were not necessary to achieve the level of power that was necessary to achieve his current goals. However, before his plans for world domination, Pluto knew that he must reach the rank of jounin or higher, a simple gennin would not be able to take on multiple kages and great ninja nations. Nor would he be able to take on legendary jincuriki. It would take much training before he was able to do any of this. For now, Pluto would focus on recruiting and training followers, such as the ones he had locked up in his new hideout at the moment. He would make them fight to the death, put them to the ultimate test, in order to weed out the weak and take only the strongest as his followers. Pluto could not have weaklings among his ranks, he could not mix divine soldiers with unexperienced weaklings. This would not work for him, he could only take the strongest, those worthy, or near worthy, of being named gods like he was. Pluto looked up at the sky, imagining the immense influence and power he would have, a true gift from the gods. Higure would back him up with anything he did, they would establish a new nation, one much more powerful than the ones created by the pitiful and lowly human race. It would be a civilization fit for the gods, one that only the most powerful shinobi inhabited, one that could crush any last semblance of civilization under it’s heel.
Pluto grinned, looking back at the wall that marked the entrance to his cave. The gods were certainly on his side, they wanted Pluto to succeed, to build them a new, much more powerful nation. Pluto began to descend Olympus, leaving his little project behind for the moment. He would certainly return, his two hostages were certainly not going anywhere. Pluto needed to gather some more recruits before he was to start the initiation rituals, before the first batch of recruits was initiated into Higure. Pluto still needed to decide when he was going to stop the massive death match that he had planned, how many recruits he was going to let live and join his organization. Ugh, there were still so many things to consider, Pluto was beginning to get a headache. With these thoughts still fresh in his mind, Pluto departed in search of more powerful individuals to bring into his organization...
