With his sharingan, he could see the surprise on Vitus' face even before he began to speak. Thus, with his phenomenal speed, he could still escape the ground before Caesar stomped and activate the swamp. Therefore, he could execute the move he had done before, which would effectively kill Caesar.

The shocked look on Vitus face surprised Takazashi also, so much that he fell down into the valley right before Caesar stomped his foot. He ended up right next to Vitus and Kamui. "How about we kick this guys ass first, eh?" said Takazashi. He really didn't like earth users.
