[oh crap I misunderstood the line about your clone in some previous post, Kino. I thought it was an illusion and not a shadow clone. I have to lightly edit my post, sorry about this.]

[I think it's my turn so I'll just post]
Mezurashii watched her teammates from the canopy, making sure not to block any of the light that penetrated the canopy or break anything that would alert their sensei of her presence.
She took a silent breath as she watched Kino release a fireball technique, did this mean he had fire-nature chakra? Why would he reveal it so soon? Did he think they were that weak? No, he wasn't the arrogant nor an idiot. Maybe to test their abilities...
Mezurashii shook her head, she had to focus, one slip of her concealment and it was all over. Taking cover by a rather shady chunk of the treetops she watched the battle, waiting for her chance.

Suprised by Kinominki just passing by him, Itami looked over his shoulder just in time to see him disappear among the trees. It seemed weird his sensei would just dash away but in the end their mission was to get the bells so maybe Kino would just refuse to get caught by them. Maybe that was his plan.
But it sounded too simple. Itami thought for a moment. He was quite a perceptive person so he hoped he'd figure out what went through Kinominki's head.
'If I were the sensei, what would my tactic be ..' he thought.
'To distract us maybe ... Pit us against eachother ... or to lure us away from the real bells, That's it!'
Itami smirked, convinced he understood the plan. Instead of turning back to follow Kinominki, he continued along among the branches. Maybe their sensei hid the bells further on. But the bigger possibility was, that he simply created a clone to guard them, or he had them himself and sent the clone to fight them. Either way, Itami was sure he was going to find something.
A little later, he slowed down and became more quiet, continuing on but keeping his eyes focused on the leaves.
His eyes sparkled as he spotted the jounin on the branch. First he had to make sure if it was a clone or not. He fastened an exploding tag on a kunai. He threw two empty kunai at Kino, and then added the third, aiming a bit above Kino's head, hoping to hit a trunk of the tree. If everything went according to his plan, Kinominki would see the first two kunai but miss the third because he would be distracted by the first two plus the third was thrown above his eye level.
Itami waited to see the result, prepared for any kind of outcome. He already formed chakra at his head, just in case he had to use his other tehnique.

From the bushes Nakara would see nothing so far, not even his teammates had made a move for the time being, his secret weapon begin kept hidden. From the cabbit's point of view however something was heading in his direction, but for now she would wait to alert him when the unknown got closer. Nakara would hear the sound of footsteps as he slowly smirked," Well it seems like I have been found," as he turned his head slightly. From that moment the little cabbit would shout," watch out, he is using a jutsu," as she came from her position and landed on his shoulder. Turning to the body before the release of the jutsu, Nakara's hands would be held out in front of him as he channeled his chakra through the wires on his arms. The fireball would come at him, seeing this the wires would begin to spin around him, the trees, bushes and any leaves falling would be cut down to pieces as the fireball hit the wires, not only slowing it down, but dissipating it as Nakara continued to spin the wires faster. Soon the fire would be gone as Nakara dashed forward. The cabbit would shoot four fireballs forward as Nakara manevured the wures behind and infront of him, closing off all escapes due to the fireballs coming from the top and the wires closing off the back and sides. Soon the wires would wrap around Kino as Nakara pulled them tightly, slicing the clone and making it disappear.

Kino's clone was busy with Nakara, Mezurashii had been somewhere, neither the clone nor the original knew where at the moment.
{Noting these will be happening at the same time}
Clone
Kino's clone continued to spar with Nakara, his fire technique hitting the wires. It was strange, how he could use wires to stop fire and destroy it, but it wasn't time to question this technique, no. He would simply continue to observe, by stopping the technique completely so he can see a charging Nakara, preparing his wires, and a few fire balls heading in his direction. The clone simply smiled, and performed a quick set of hand signs. It had been very quick, one or two. This was a simple E ranking technique, though could save someone from even an S ranking technique. Wires wrapped around the clone, it disappeared, and was replaced by a log. It was cut due to the wires.
The clone appeared a few meters away, looking Nakara as fire balls headed for the very position his summoning aimed at. He seemed to be in the area, seeing as he had charged for the clone to attack it. The clone figured he would have to handle the summoning first, once that one was out of the way Nakara would be much more easier to deal with. He jumped up into the trees surrounding the area, and quickly ran. His speed seemed to be greater than Nakara's, though he couldn't compare it to his summoning's yet.
Kino
Kino continued on, though it wasn't long after the clone dodged Nakara's attack that Kino would hear two Kunai cutting through the air, he looked quickly, grabbing the first one and using it as a way to knock the other off course, by hitting it away when it got to close. He kept the first in hand, then noticed a third zipping by overhead. He was distracted, he couldn't even hear that one. He smiled, he had heard it hit the trunk behind him. "Nice aiming," he said, "Itami." He said, quickly finding the boy from where the Kunai flew from. He jumped up into the branches overhead, preparing for Itami's next move.

Mezurashii slowly and quietly took her sense fooling bomb in her hand, though as she was about to toss it she heard the sound of metal clashing. She turned her head in slowly but didn't see anything, looking back she stared at the Kino fighting with Nakara, her mind working quickly.
'Clone' she concluded after a second, she took a deep breath at the situation. She should have kept a better eye on Itami, but this fight had ensued first so it had grabbed her attention.
Her mind began to work. Kino had been resting in the trees before the test, meaning he liked high places or liked resting where he could see the things around him. Common sense for a ninja. He also prefers to watch, observing people instead of talking himself.
Though that didn't help at all in this situation, he could be either. An enemy of unknown caliber had separated them and was either battling one with a hidden ally or fighting a genin with no support. She mentally cursed herself for not thinking of this, but she slowed down and took a breath.
Calm of Thoughts. Ruler of Actions. Light of Domains.
She recited and she felt the roaring storm of her quelled and calmed. There was still no way to tell the difference but she was willing to bet this risk. Slowly she reached into her pouch and grabbed a kunai and an explosive tag, Mezurashii wrapped the paper around the handle instead of tying it off so it would be silent.
She was in the perfect position and took the chance, throwing the kunai she saw it hit the trunk of the tree their sensei was hiding in and watched it explode. Now they would hopefully be able to tell if this one was real or not.

Itami watched intently as the last kunai hit the tree. He smirked and a second later and explosion erupted from the spot, unabling him from seeing for a second. The blast from the exploding tag must have hurt Kino a little, or at least distracted him so Itami could move to a different location. Kinominki probably knew where he was now, since the kunai came from the same directon.
He jumped upwards and swung on a branch. A second later he pulled himself up and moved to the right. The area cleared a tiny bit from the explosion but Itami still couldn't quite spot Kino.
He stopped and focused his chakra, breathing it into his palm and swirling the wind natured chakra around, forming a ball. He waited a second until the silhuette of the jounin appeared and then hurled the ball at him with high speed.
He jumped higher and more to the right then, to hide his location once more.

Nakara wouldn't be surprised as the clone use a substitution to get out of his wires, but the worst was not over yet. As the wires were pulled back onto his arms as the sword was drawn off of his back. Lightning would encompass the swords as his hands began to glow blue. Nakara was going to do something new that he had created while training with the sword. It would seem as if the lightning danced around Nakara's body as his hands slowly began to glow brighter, the sound of lightning becoming more and more visible and audible as Nakara kept an eye on his surroudings. Ryo-Ohki was still on his shoulder's her ears and eyes searching the surrounding like a radar. With the two of them together he would be able to hear the clone when he came and also be able to execute his move.

Clone
The clone was sitting in a tree he assumed to be safe, when he heard the zipping of a Kunai. He looked over to where he heard the noise, a paper bomb was attached. The wind was cutting due to the Kunai. The explosive tag itself was silent, being tied to the handle was a rather good strategy, although the fact remained that the Kunai was cutting the wind as it was thrown, making it rather noticeable. The clone watched, it was nearing the tree, he needed to move. He let out a quick sigh and jumped over to the next tree's branches, jumping up it more in case the explosion damaged the tree next to it, if he was up higher than he had a better chance of escaping quite a bit destruction, and possibly a falling tree as well. He could jump out of it if it began to fell, though he felt it was more secure than it looked.
The clone looked at where the Kunai with the explosive tag was, noticing Mezurashii rather instantly. He grinned, as he looked back at Nakara, slightly hoping Mezurashii wasn't thinking that was at her. He noticed the boy named Nakara having used a Lightning Release move, he thought he recalled the boy mentioning his elemental Nature Release, though he could be confusing that with another one of his students. The boy was within range of one of Kino's more preferred techniques for getting out of rather blinding jams, though it would work for a situation like this. He jumped from the tree as the explosive tag unleashed it's power and blew up the previous tree he was in. He was performing hand signs while doing so, not very high up from the ground, though still out of range from the explosion. He looked at the boy, Nakara, as the clone sucked in air. He was performing the same actions before he had launched his fire release technique, though this one was not as devastating. He blew out, aiming and attempting to push the boy away, and then launch his second attack. He performed hand signs, looking in Mezurashii's direction and sucking in air. He blew out quickly, a more powerful ranking jutsu was aimed at her, though at half power. After blowing he turned his attention back to Nakara, and the seemingly mutated rabbit..
Kino
Kino was surprised when there was an explosion behind him, he didn't notice the tag. Thankfully the explosion wasn't powerful enough to kill him, though it did knock one of the bells out of his pocket, leaving it more in the open, where Itami could see it. He was blown back quite a bit, due to the power of the explosion, he was no where near where he was. He ran from the spot, grinning, Itami seemed to be smarter than he had first appeared to be. He performed hand signs, creating two shadow clones. The hand signs consisted of two series, though both the exact same. One of the shadow clones headed in the direction of the other, the one fighting Nakara and Mezurashii. The other clone stayed with Kino, moving back towards Itami as Kino climbed up in the tree, far from Itami.
Clone fighting Itami
The clone moved up into the tree branches, the third tomoe active in his eyes as he looked for the chakra of Itami. Itami would supposedly have moved his position, which would have been wise if he did, Kino figured he would make a good shinobi one day.
The clone scanned the area where Itami last was, when he threw the three Kunai. It appears he had done what Kino had expected, and moved a bit. He continued to scan the area, looking more up, figuring he would be in that direction to get a better view of the area, to hunt down Kino at. He spotted Itami's chakra soon, and got into a position where he had a nice view. Whether or not Itami had seen the clone yet was beyond the clone's knowledge. It performed hand signs, preparing a high ranking technique. He wasn't going to hold back too much on Itami, he's already proven himself to be slightly better than both Mezurashii and Nakara, seeing as they are only fighting one clone at the moment, together, and Itami was fighting the real Kino, and was slightly winning there for a second. The fact that he had nearly won was about to chance, however. The clone launched a fire ball, at seventy five percent of it's power. It was no ordinary fire ball, no. This technique was an A ranking technique, and capable of burning down a forest should it be used at it's full capabilities.
