Facing Reality (P, IO)

Minorin had given him a dirty look, Denkiteki sighed as he began to walk to the gates. He knew that if Minorin ever caught him alone he would get an ear load, and that he might end up flying through a wall if he wasn’t careful. I’m so stupid, I should have told her before we left. He should have told he rin Sanctuary, so she could have had more time to get used to the fact that Kiri was gone before he forced her into a new village. Lightly touching the new headband on his forehead, Denkiteki followed the Anbu through the gates, wondering just how nice his new home would be.

Takehiko kept looking down at his own headband, the only thing stopping him from jumping for joy being Minorin and Denkiteki’s moods. Both seemed upset, so Taekhiko didn’t think he was allowed to be happy when both his master and Min were both not feeling well. He wondered how to cheer them up, perhaps he could go buy them some nice candy with the money he would get when he started performing missions? Maybe Min would like that, she was normally a sweet little girl, so maybe she would like to eat sweet things? Den probably wouldn’t like them as much, maybe he should get him a book? Not to big of a book though, Takehiko would hate for Minorin to pick up a large book and smack Den with it, especially if it was one he bought.

He kept pondering on how to cheer them up, even as he followed Den and the Anbu who had been so kind as to escort them. Unlike Den, who would always get wrapped up in his thoughts, Takehiko looked around while he tried to figure things out. The village was truly a beautiful place, with buildings almost as big as some of the ones in Den’s Sanctuary.
