Training Session {Private NK}

Okon noticed as Minorin came forward a bit, at Okonishi. He noticed her thrust her ninjato forward, Okonishi took his Katana blade and attempted to block the blade from coming any further, hoping his strength could be somewhat superior. He had no idea of Minorin's current skill in combat, she could be better than Okonishi, though he preferred to think that he could be stronger since he seemed to be older. He placed a hand on his blade, not the cutting edge, though on the side, so that he wouldn't cut himself. He was reinforcing the blade so that it wouldn't be pushed back should the girl's strength be stronger than Okonishi's.

The girl found herself to be much stronger than the boy she was fighting, she felt slightly satisfied knowing this. However, the girl held back, instead letting the two blades stall each other in a kind of draw before she attempted to step a few feet backwards and away from her opponent, wondering what he would do next, if she could indeed step back her ninjato would stay in a defensive position for the most part.

Okonishi was probably more skilled in combat than she was, strength really didn’t matter if he could outsmart her. So the girl felt cautious, he was older after all. That usually meant more experienced in most cases.

Minorin had apparently been stronger, Okon noted as the blades clashed together. He felt as if she was holding back, too. He nearly sighed, though held it back as she had allowed for the blades to stall. He began to think, thinking of a strategy. He could use jutsu, though he didn't feel like it yet, he preferred to note the abilities of Minorin before he would show his. He took a few steps back as soon as Minorin did, beginning to think of a plan, a battle strategy.. She was already noted to be stronger, though was she faster? If she remained where she stood for the entire spar than Okon wouldn't be capable of telling, yet anyways.


He sighed, though keeping his eyes open and fixed on Minorin, mainly. He also scanned his surroundings every moment or so, to make sure Minorin hadn't launched an unseen attack. With nothing coming at him, he began to charge forward once more, though he hadn't exactly come up with a plan yet.



He took his Katana blade, and held it up pointed at the ceiling of the training area. He turned it around as he brought it down, to where the non sharp edge, the back edge of the blade would be brought down on Minorin. Okonishi mainly did this in case she wasn't fast enough to stop the blade, seeing as Okon couldn't note her true speed yet. If she blocks or not, Okonishi would attempt to kick her left foot with his right.

Minorin watched Okonishi. Her eyes weren’t focused on his face, but on his arms and legs. Since he had also stepped back she assumed he was planning something, and that put her on high alert.

The boy came towards her again; the girl pondered his action as she attempted to dart out of the boy’s way as speedily as she could - a meter or so to her immediate right. There was nothing in her way after all, nothing at all to stop her from moving as she wished – besides the boy if he was quick enough anyways. As she moved she would keep the flat part of her blade facing Okonishi in a defensive manner, wondering what he would try next.

Okonishi continued, as he began to charge he noticed her moving to her right, about a meter. He sighed, noting her speed now. Apparently she was faster as well, perhaps she's had more training than Okonishi. It was likely that she did. He sighed, as he stood back up and held his Katana. He was standing completely up, completely still, as he began to think of a plan of action. She was both faster and stronger than Okonishi, which would make it rather hard for him to win this spar.

The girl watched Okonishi, letting her blade down a bit once she saw how still the boy was.
Truth be told she was rather hungry right about now, but if the boy still wanted to train she would. She wondered if she should make a move, and then decided better of it. He wasn’t even in a defensive stance at the moment. Maybe he didn’t want to spar with her any longer. Minorin would stand where she was, watching the boy and waiting for something to happen.

Okonishi noticed she was letting her blade down a bit, perhaps she was growing bored in the spar? It was possible, since currently she seemed to be more skilled than Okonishi. He sighed, then began to speak. "Perhaps we can spar another time?" Okonishi asked, "I need to go somewhere at the moment." He said, as he sheathed his blade. He was lying, of course, though if she didn't want to spar anymore then he shouldn't really continue. Besides, he had his training for today and was ready to go piss someone off.

The girl was a little surprised as the boy sighed and spoke.

She nodded her head in response, “Sure, another time, definitely.”

Minorin wondered if she had been awkward, maybe she shouldn’t have tried as hard? Feeling rather awkward and not wanting to seem pushy the girl would attempt to smile at the boy before sheathing her ninjato and heading towards the stairs, wishing the boy a good day before she left the room.

Okonishi listened as Minorin said 'Sure, another time, definitely.' Okonishi simply walked towards the exit near Minorin, and noted her smile. Okonishi smiled in return, as he began to wander down stares, and began wondering if she had planned to stay up there and train. He sheathed his Katana's blade into it's scabbard which rested on his belt, then continued to wander down the stares, and out into the village of Tengakure. He was heading home, noticing how much energy he had put into the simple spar. He was heading home to rest up for the rest of the day, rather than spend what little he had left from running away from huge men who after a moment of thinking noticed their entire family had been insulted.
