Ken laughed. Then took the hit to the face. He layed down also, because yknow, Rest is fun

"Kuro. its not like your alone. Jayy and i will help you. I bet with help, You will have all the books in the world."

Ken stood up and went to a pack by his side and grabbed a bag full of rolls of tape and picked up the book, it had a hole straight through the middle and a ton of pages lying around it, But...it looked...Fixable, yeah...Taking advantage of kuro's fatigue, Ken began to sit down, And tape pieces one by one together

"And if its one of a kind, Then we cant let it be destroyed right?!"

"You two don't know shit about books haha, no offense of course. Its just that i love you all as a family, but as intellectual people...you two fail epically but i love you both anyways," Huffing slightly as he closed his eyes. Not knowing what Ken was doing he would look over and see him fixing the book. Smiling he would shake his head,' trying to get your way out of owing me one you sly bastard.

Ken finally taped the last piece onto the book and smiled.

" I wont say im smart. Or contradict your statement"

Ken walked over and placed the book next to kuro's body as it lay. Ken frowning,

"But there are some reasons you may want to act dumb" Ken turned toward the edge of the building and sat on the fence, staring off at the village and that that is farther than it.

And with a whisper he spoke "Im sorry, Friend"

Kurogane looked up at Ken and smiled," trying to sound all poetic and crap...still going to sock you when i get all of my strength back...but for now i will rest," snapping his fingers he would smile," better yet just take me home...need a good rest," closing his eyes again as he was about to fall asleep.

He would open his eyes a little later to see the book beside him...sort of fixed as he smiled and sat up slowly," You think i am dying or something you moping bastard... now come on before Nate gets pissed at us for staying out to long," walking slowly down the stairs.

As he walked down he would hold the book in his right arm," Seems like somethings can be overlooked...but trust me you owe me big time after this Ken," a small smile came across his face as he walked down the rest of the stairs. Getting to the bottom he would wait for Ken for awhile before continuing. Once he had caught up he would walk with him to the orphanage, where he would go straight up the stairs and into his room, falling face first onto the bed and falling asleep.
