Mission Topic: Art Thief

Masuma got a mission about an art thief. He was not
surprised though since the volcano village is full of thieves and stealers. The
mission task was “There have been reports that multiple people have had their
paintings stolen from their homes or shops.
Find the thief and bring him in by any means, while at the same time
returning the stolen arts, or what remains, safely back to the rightful owners.”
Masuma thought “That means I will either have to
torture him to tell me where he put the stuff, or follow him where he has been
stashing them.” He sighed when he realized that it was a big area to
cover, but apparently some areas got broken into more frequently than others. He
smiled and said to himself “Well I will start here and
work my way outwards.” He had on his black clothing and his ninjato on
his left hip. He leaped onto the roof tops and headed to the area of interest. He
walked into a shop and started talking to the girl clerk. Masuma asked “There has been some art taken from this store?” The
girl clerk smiled and said “Yes sir and it was some
pricy art too. There have been multiple thefts around, and I figured the thief
lives close by.” Masuma thought “Well she is
a smart one.” He then asked “Well what did the
thief look like? What was he wearing? You know the basics.” The clerk
replied “Well he wore a cloth over his head and
wore ninja clothing.” Masuma felt a little insulted and said “Appreciate it.” He walked out of the store and
started walking around the area. Everyone seemed fine and no sign of a thief at
the moment. He leaped up on to the roof tops and looked around. He heard
screams saying “STOP YOU THIEF! HELP!” Masuma
turned and headed toward the sound. He saw a person with ninja clothing and a
cloth around his head with a small picture. He grinned and followed him from
the roof tops. The thief ran down a dark alley and opened up a door. Masuma
jumped down and opened the door slowly. There was a stair way going downward so
he followed it being as quiet as he possibly could. The stair way went down a
ways, and it seemed like it was an underground storage place. He made it to the
bottom, and saw the thief open another door. Masuma could see the stolen art in
the room. He slowly snuck up behind him. The thief put down the painting and
laughed a bit and said “They are all fools, and I get
another painting to sell to the black market.” He tilted his head back
and laughed. Masuma took this opportunity to place the thief in a sleeper hold.
The thief struggled but soon passed out. He ran outside and found the nearest
officer and led him down to the storage area. The thief was still passed out on
the floor. The officer smiled and said “Good job
ninja, and we shall return this stuff to its rightful owners post haste.” Masuma
nodded to the officer, and went on to his business.
