Training in the backyard (P,NK, Closed)
Fri May 31, 2013 9:05 pm
Gekido woke up in the early afternoon as his father woke him
up. His father said in a joking voice “Hey lazy boy
wake up it is time to train. I am going to help you out.” The idea of
training with his father was kind of scary. Every time they trained he seemed
to get his ass kick, but it helped if he was fighting people at his level. He
pulled the covers over his head and said “Okay dad I
will be up in a second.” His dad closed the door and let him be until he
woke up. He pulled the curtains over the window which was right next to his
bed. This was to block the light for it was too bright for him at the moment.
He sat up in bed as he scratched head as he got up. Gekido’s eyes were now
adjusting to the slight glamour of light in his room. He stood up and stretched
a bit still in his night clothes. He went to the bathroom and cleaned up a bit
taking a shower and such. He got back to his room and changed into some more
relaxed training clothes. He knew when his dad said it was training time then
it was almost all day with only breaks for bathroom and food. He made his way
down the stairs where his father was making ramen. It was Gekido’s favorite,
barbeque pork with extra everything. It was in a big bowl and Gekido ate all of
it, and so did his father. They both could put away a lot of food. They
finished their somewhat odd breakfast and cleaned the dishes so they did not
have to think about it later on in the day or week. His father then said “Okay now time for some training, and we are going to get
you use to using that sharingan of yours.” Gekido smiled and was actually thankful. He
has not had a chance to use it yet. He did, however, get use to activating and
deactivating it. They walked out to the back yard and took opposite sides. The
backyards were not really fenced in so the neighbors could see what others were
doing. They really liked watching them train and to see Gekido grow in
strength. Some of the neighbors sat on top of Gekido’s house to watch, but this
was a regular thing because if anyone trained in their backyard people watched.
They took stances and his father charged at Gekido. Gekido did not have a
chance to activate his sharingan but still managed to dodge his father’s
advance and go for a punch. His father was a much more skilled fighter than any
of the neighbors so there was a small crowd now. His father also had full
sharingan. The punch was not successful and his father grabbed his arm and
flung him a ways. Gekido hit the ground but not too hard. He did not expect
that but he got right back up and activated his sharingan. His one tomoe
crimson red eyes were focused on his father. His father smiled at him and
thought “That is right my son start using your sharingan.”
Gekido knew that this allows the eyes to view chakra within one’s body
and weapons albeit on a dwarfed scale opposed to that of the Byakugan.
This is limited to only viewing the mass of chakra, not specifics such as the
chakra network itself. He could focus a little bit more but not too much. His
father ran at him swiftly and tried to hit Gekido. Gekido was now relaxed and
easily dodged his attack. His father was impressed but was distracted and did
not notice Gekido going for a punch. His punch hit his father to his surprise
in the stomach. His father was not fazed at all though. He was tough and could
really take a hit but he was proud of his son for hitting him. He was now going
to get tougher. He swiftly hit Gekido in his stomach. When Gekido bent over
from the punch then his father kicked his feet out from under him. He then
picked Gekido up and threw him away. The neighbors watching knew what he was
doing and were not concerned about Gekido’s safety. They knew Gekido’s father
was trying to get Gekido his second tomoe so they did not interfere no matter
how bad it loked. Gekido got up and was used to getting hit and thrown around.
He got up and focused back on his father who then charged after Gekido. He
managed to dodge the first attack by his father but was blindsided by a kick to
the side. Gekido hit the ground again as his father stood there acting like he
was disappointed. His father though was not. It was amazing to him that Gekido
dodged the first punch. Gekido got up and was hit with a barrage of punches and
kicks. His father was being rough but it was to give Gekido with a sense of
hopelessness in battle. Gekido got up and was hurt and sore. He did not know
how to save “I quit” or “I give up.” This made Gekido very stubborn and strong
like his mother, but had the strength of his father. This was a great
combination since he wanted to be a master ninja someday. Gekido attempted a
punch then a quick succession with a kick. This however did not work. His father
dodged his punch and grabs his leg then threw Gekido in the air and punching
him as he came down. It was not a hard punch mostly the gravity was what would
do most of the work. Gekido coughed and was in pain now but still got up and
ready. He then got back up and threw a series of punches and kicks. His father
dodged all of them with easy basically not noticing that Gekido was not
attacking at all. His father then caught one of his punches, pulled Gekido
toward him, and punched Gekido in the stomach once again. These made Gekido be
in an extreme pain. He got back up
determined to at least land another punch, but he knew it was getting
impossible to do due to him being hurt now. He went for another volley of
attacks but was countered again and again. Gekido stood up after every failed
attempt and tried again. He was bound and determined to get another hit. This
was getting harder and harder with each try his body getting weaker and weaker.
He went in again and again and it met with the same result. He was doubting
himself and feeling hopeless in the situation. He just began to feel this way
but did not want to accept it. He got back up and was ready for another assult.
The neighbors were really impressed with Gekido as he did not give up easily.
They looked at their children and used Gekido as an example of how not to give
up no matter was obstacle you face. Fight your hardest and do not give up. That
is the making of a great ninja in the world. Gekido felt horrible at this
moment, but chose to keep going. He then went in for another punch but his
father kept hitting him with a barrage of punches and kicks putting Gekido back
on the ground. Gekido thought to himself “This is
so hopeless I just want to give up. This is impossible for me to beat him now.
I do not know why I keep doing this to myself. I just keep getting up and
getting put back onto the ground.” Gekido felt a deep sense of
hopelessness at that time and a tear came down his eye as he stood back up and
ready again. His father laughed and said “Aw you
are crying? What a baby you cannot hit me now. It is hopeless you should just
give up being a ninja. I was wrong about you.” Of course his father did
not really thing this. His father knew that Gekido will become a great ninja.
Though Gekido was feeling hopeless but was now in a sense of anger. He tried to
calm himself down but it did not work. He blinked his eyes as his tears were
there and a second tomoe showed up. The neighbors were smiling and were now
proud of Gekido even though he was doing badly. His father came in for another
punch. Gekido saw things differently, and it seemed like his father was moving
more slowly. Geikdo could now tell his father’s movements in detail now. His
father went for a punch and Gekido easily avoided him. He then hit his father
with a barrage of punches. His father laughed and smiled hitting the ground. He
said “I am proud of you son.” Gekido did not
really know what he meant until a neighbor came down with a pocket mirror. He
held it up to Gekido and he saw. He had another tomoe in his eyes and smiled.
The neighbor smiled at Gekido and went back to the roof as Gekido’s father went
for another punch and kick. Gekido dodged them and threw a counter attack. This
spar went on for a little while as it was now back and forth. His father
activated his three tomoe and started winning again. Gekido noticed the three
tomoe was much better. It was able to see a lot more things than Gekido’s now formed
two tomoe sharingan. The neighbors joined in and it was almost like a brawl of
uchihas in the back yard. Of course it was now for fun and he felt like part of
everyone now. Most of them had full sharingan and knew each other. Gekido had
two or three kids his age attack him at once. He could easily defend against
them, but once the other kids and adults joined in it was much harder. Though
Gekido did not fret as his new sharingan took form and was now more refined. It got dark outside and everyone went home.
Him and his father went back into the house and showered. Gekido deactivate his
sharingan and could now see a bit more normal. They met back up in the kitchen
where his father was making some food. It was not ramen this time it was pork
strips on the grill in the middle of the table. They stayed there and talked a
bit. Gekido asked “So how do you get three tomoes?” Gekido’s
father explained “The third tomoe can only be
advanced from the second tomoe, this is done by feeling dependency upon the
eyes, the need to get stronger because you cannot do it alone.” Gekido
thought about it for a bit and said “So I basically
just have to use my sharingan a lot and it gets more refined in time?”
His father nodded yes and pulled some pork strips off the grill. They ate some and
Gekido asked “What are the advantages of the third
tomoe?” Gekidos father then said “Technique
Copying, by using the enhanced vision of the Sharingan eye one can read the hand
seals used to preform select jutsu. Genjutsu Resistance, with the eyes enhanced
vision they are more resistance against visual genjutsu, due to this visual
genjutsu require only half the stated requirements to break. Enhanced Vision,
with the ocular prowess of the third tomoe the user’s vision is increased to
even greater levels. You can also use sharingan genjutsu which can immobilize the
opponent.” Gekido listened and was intrigued. He did not know genjutsu
that much but he would like to learn some. He did not know any genjutsu users
but he was willing to learn them himself. They ate till their stomachs were
full. His father was now very proud of his son. They went to their rooms and went to bed to
get ready for an early start tomorrow.
