Late Night Exit [p/nk]

Sephora had decided she would do it alone. Take the trip to Volcano by herself. She didn't want to put Samuru in harms way, especially not after all he had done for her. She knew if anything went wrong she could defend herself. The little girl threewon her cape and left the house, weapons and all, in case she needed to defend herself.
 As she came to the gates she looked around. Was there someone here? Usually a guard was at the gates but this time she didn't see anyone. She attempted to step through the gates, hopefully someone was there, it wouldn't be good to have unguarded gates, never know who could enter this time of night.

A single ANBU guard in a black cloak would descend and appear in front of the girl who was attempting to leave the village. His expression was concealed with a plain porcelain animal mask, eyeing the strange girl for a moment before speaking. 

"Where are you going young Genin?"

As a member of the military there was some freedom for ninja within the village, but without proper paperwork or approval most ninja were not allowed to leave the village unless they held special status.

"I am taking a trip, last minute, I had other stuff that had to be tended to earlier today and even though its late I am trying to make it before morning to Volcano. I will only be gone a short period then I will return sir." Sephora, where as she could be rude or very demanding ,also knew where respects should lie and she knew to respect this man. He was an ANBU and they deserved to be respected. She was glad he had showed up when he did, it showed her the village was a safe place. She was hoping he would grant her permission to leave. She had to do this now because her mother could not know she was leaving, this is why she did not go to the Hokage.

Normally the guard would have said no and redirected the young girl, but she seemed innocent enough and was clearly respectful and responsible. It was also a new development that the Hokage had redeveloped the Fire Nation, the Volcano village being an old member of this nation and within Navi's jurisdiction. As a ninja she could likely take care of herself, especially on the road to an allied village.

"Very well, take care young one." 

A moment later the guard vanishes, returning to his vigil in the shadows. 

[Approved of Departure]

Smiling politely and giving a slight bow she took her leave from the gates. "Thank you kindly sir." She said as she passed the guard. He was very polite and friendly, she was glad he was the one she ran into. She looked up at the moonlit sky, since it was so clear she would have no problem finding her way to Volcano Village. She was hoping the trip there would be smooth sailing for her.
