The Hokage Hates You Ashie {P,NK}

Mission:

Ashie would wake comfortable for once, but not in her own bed. She was on the tile floor of the bathroom maybe because it was cooler in here than her bedroom. Shrugging she would notice the kit that would be sleeping in the sink, a cooler place for her friend! Giggling she would go into her room and pull out a fresh set of clothes, it seemed hot today so she would just wear her red tank top and black shorts again today. Changing into her clothes she would notice an envelope in her doorway. Going over she would open and read the letter inside, it was a task, I'm to cut the grass in the training fields using the tools provided. Shrugging she didn't have anything planned and some extra food money wouldn't hurt.

Getting her shoes on she would set out on her task, they were considered missions, but they seemed more like house chores lately. Walking her usual route to the training field she would go over to the shed and notice some clippers and a ruler with a note. Picking up the note she would read it slowly incase there were directions. Turns out the Hokage wanted her to use these instead of the bigger objects Ashie sees her neighbor use. Sighing grudgingly at the note she would take the clipper and measure two inches as she snips at the grass...'This is going to take for ever....' After a few hours Ashie would notice the sun was starting to set and yet she was only half way done! Groaning she would fall back onto her bum and sit on the grass wishing there were another way. Hearing a rumbling sound she would look over and see a man on a weird machine driving it towards her position.

Standing up the man would shut off the machine and speak to her, "Howdy there, I noticed ya'll were snippin' here at the grass and figured you might've needed some help." Hearing this would perk up Ashie's features, her smile bright as she bows to thank the elder man. "Would you like to ride on it?" he would ask, nodding Ashie would climb onto the back and the man would start it up and start driving around the parts of the field that she hadn't snipped. Whoa! The grass was getting shorter wherever he drove. Giggling Ashie would clap at this wondrous machine! Who knew Ashie would've been so lucky as to have a mortal offer her assistance? She would've been here all night!

Once the ride was over Ashie would hop off and thank the man by offering her hand to him and shaking before thanking him for all the help and placing the clippers and ruler back into the shed before closing it and walking back home. Opening the door she spoke softly, "Anyone home?" Nothing but her own echo greeted her, sadly she closed the door behind her and her furry companion padded down the stair to meet her. "Mreow!" Giggling Ashie picks up Auracle and pets her, "You're roar is getting better!" She giggle sitting on the couch and resting her eyes a bit before she dozes off.
