Here Kenzo stood with scissors, and ruler in hand. He watched as the other genin and ninja fell to their knees, and snipped away at the grass as commanded. He reached into his pocket, and retrieved a small folded note. This note held the job decription of today's mission. The description red, "The Hokage, in order to teach the ninja of Konohagakure no Sato how to follow orders has instructed them to cut the grass of the training field, the tools he has supplied you with is a ruler, and a pair of scissors. The grass must be two inches in length exactly." Kenzo looked around at the army of shinobi that held their rulers to each , and ever blade of grass. No way he was going to be here all day snipping grass blade by blade. If the Kage thought Kenzo was going to actually measure each blade of grass as he snipped them, then that Asshole was out of his mind. Kenzo placed his ruler to the side of his foot, and began to measure. Two inches appeared to be just above his toe, so that's where Kenzo would have to create a blade. Create a blade? Yes. Kenzo's hands began to form a series of handseals. It appeared as though Kenzo was going to be creating handseals forever. The air around his body began to ripple as his chakra flared with great ferocity. It toke only a seoncd before Kenzo leapt into the air, and his body was engulfed in a mass of flames. People turned to watch as Kenzo's body remained airborne. The flames created a seat beneath Kenzo, a seat that was engulf in flames, yet solid. This was the result of Kenzo's jutsu "Flaming Seat of Judgement" At the bottom of the seat was a large razor, angled according to Kenzo's measurements. Kenzo's chair floated forward at great speed, slicing through the grass, and leaving the tips of the grass slightly charred, thought that could easily have changed if Kenzo was not weakening his own technique. It toke only a matter of seconds for Kenzo to cut the grass. The other genin had their own methods; using fuuton to slice the grass; and using doton to lower the grass making it appear to be shorter. Kenzo knew these were all bad ideas, but he continued anyway. People followed behind him, stomping out grass that smoked too often and appeared as though it were going to ignite. None of the heat made any progress past a slight charring, however. Kenzo ended his techniqe, and looked towards the grass he had just cut.

Ashes from the trimmed grass remained, and though the grass was indeed about 2 inches, the grass had taken on a brown color. Brown, black and green were the colors of the grass. A unique combination in Kenzo's eyes, but to some the job was in adequate, to others it was more than enough. Feeling that he had done the job correctly, Kenzo began to head to the hokage's mansion where he would recieve his cash. He had fullfilled all of the Kage's requirements, and followed directions. What more could the Kage have asked for? [Exit]
