Passing of the Torch [P, IO]

Xuro was in his apartment looking over the deceased body of Nero Goka, someone who was a very close comrade to Xuro and someone he trusted with his all his life. The young, strong Jounin of Sunagakure who is no more....
Xuro flashed back to when he had received Nero's body from Gilgamesh just a day ago, he remembered evolving his sharingan to a new state. A much more powerful state than the simple Three Tomoe, Xuro had awakened his inner dormant Mangekyou Sharingan. He realised that Nero too had the same sharingan eye in him originating from the same Uchiha which they had slain and obtained the two sharingan eyes from. He and Nero had shared the two sharingan eyes and had both utilised its power having a connection, a link between the two of them through this vision. The same sharingan eyes kept their bond even closer and now that bond was shattered.

He knew that since he had awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan, Nero's eye had achieved that state as well. But now the user of scorch is no more and that eye would just go to a waste. He knew Nero would have wanted Xuro to take the eye and pass it on to someone else that Xuro trusted and felt worthy of beholding such a rare powerful crimson artefact. Xuro would do just that. He needed to give to it someone to make sure it won't go to a waste and be put to good use. Xuro pictured all those people he knew close to him and then would select one he trusted and knew the best. Someone who would fit just right for such a potent power...




Some cocky Uzumaki trash Xuro knew by the name of Gilgamesh.........

Gilgamesh was merely standing atop of some scums apartment; the scum going by the name of Xuro Bakuton. He was acting much like a watchdog as he scouted the area from this vantage point, he wanted to make sure the man was not disturbed on his second day of mourning and it also couldn't hurt to see if anybody actively went to socialise with his leader at the apartment, after all, knowledge is power. His backstraight and his already red eyes cruising through the streets, he knew not of what he would do after this day. It would be interesting to see how the man would go about training his team now that his best friend was deceased.

Xuro slowly stood up from his place and then walked to his front door. Now that Nero's dead, the curse mark died too. So there was no way of quickly easily getting hold of the members of the light, such as Thee Gilgamesh. Xuro had to do it the old fashion way till he learns to obtain that curse mark of Nero's. It was kind of a Nero Trademark but now Xuro had to learn it himself inorder to continue leading the Brotherhood of Light.

He would open his door and step outside to go and search for Gilgamesh. The dude's name kinda reminded Xuro of a gigantic bowl of Mash potato for some odd reason.... He walked onto the street pathway and was about to walk down the streets when he recognised a shadow casted from the roof of his apartment. Xuro would turn around and then look up at the roof to see who's the shadow. Alas! To his luck it was the man he was looking for.

"Speak of the devil..." Xuro mumbled to himself. He would then shout out at Gilgamesh, "Yo Dude! Gilgamesh what ya doing up there?? Come down here I've been looking for you... Come step into my office." Xuro signalled the Uzumaki to come and follow him back into the house as Xuro made a move and began walking back inside....

Hearing the sound of a door opening, the eyes of the boy now focused on the space directly outside of the entrance of the apartment. Soon he saw the hair that he recognised as Xuro's and he was prepared to follow atop the roofs until he saw the boy himself stop and turn to see him. Dratz, his cover was blown! Nodding at what the man had to say, he decided that the walking would be a waste of effort so he cut out the middle man and created a portal directly underneath him and a portal inside of the hallway which he had seen when he had handed the body over. Falling directly through the portals and landing in front of Habee, the portals disappeared instantly and he bowed as a sign of respect. "And what do you request of me, Xuro?"

Xuro walked back into his apartment and watched as Gilgamesh used the creative method of transportation by teleporting himself into his house. He grinned at the pompous boy who seemed to be showing a lot of respect and consideration nowadays and not being so stubborn and cocky as he always was. "Hm... As you can see, the Brotherhood of Light was led by Nero and Myself. Nero has fallen leaving me to take the torch and become the main leader of the brotherhood. Likewise someone needs to take my torch and take my place as the second leader of the Brotherhood. I have placed some thought and I've selected you Gilgamesh. You will see fit in the place by my side. Do you want to bear the torch of becoming the leader of the Brotherhood beside my. I trust you and I am sure you have excellent vision for a better future. I hope we both will be able to carry on the legacy and his vision to train our recruits, help them become stronger, better ninja and help make this ninja world a better place. So what do you say then Gilamesh?"

Upon hearing what his leader had to say, a few visions crossed the young boys mind that brought a thinly stretched smile upon his lips. Many of the thoughts were of him being a king sat atop a throne of gold with many slaves adoring to his every need; all of them half naked of course. Fans wafting cool air into his face as he passed judgement on those he deemed wrong doers.. Of course, they'd be fighting tigers in hand to hand combat.. However, he snapped out of that daydream once he heard his name said once more and he nodded. He spoke with a smile on his lips and one eyebrow raised slightly in confidence. "Of course, Xuro. I have heard tales of missing shinobi stealing our kin from within our own village borders; a catastrophe if I have ever heard of one.. This means that our defenses are extremely bad and our shinobi are not training enough. So, I will aid you in the aspect of strenghtening the village and bringing a whole new light to the world; one that will extinguish the flames of darkness I hope."

After hearing the response of Gilgamesh it would spread a huge grin on Xuro's face. He was glad Gilgamesh had accepted his offer. He wanted to lead the Brotherhood of Light with some that he trusts by his side. After his former colleague Nero, there wasn't anyone else he trusted as much and would prefer to lead as second in command. Hiroshi, his brother well he was too young and naïve and playful. He wasn't ready for the heroic role yet.. The other ninja he knew in the village were all very young and of mere genin rank and lacked experience and skill. Also he didn't know so much about them. Gilgamesh on the other hand was someone Xuro knew well. Someone he trusted the most in fact. Also the kid was cocky and had confidence. He could lead, that were the qualities the kid had. He was also of the Uzumaki clan to be known of having such prestige and a lot of potential. He was also amazed by the kid's skills & abilities. Only being Genin rank, the kid was an excellent well-skilled ninja. That is why Xuro had chosen him the lucky bustard....

Then came Xuro reply, "Well Gilgamesh, I'm glad you accepted my offer. You are official the second in command of the Brotherhood of Light. There is a small gift to offer if you accept. Being the co-leaders, me and Nero had shared the same vision in more ways than one... We both possessed as you may have known the eyes of the same Uchiha which we had slain. But our eyes are no more of the ordinary Sharingan..." Xuro spoke as he lifted up his head band that slanted across his left eye. His opened his eye revealing his sharingan still in the three tomoe state. "Because of me witnessing the death of Nero, it has evolved into a new more powerful state..." Xuro's three tomoe sharingan now spinning and mixing together, shaping, changing into its Mangekyou Sharingan state.
"Mangekyou Sharingan!

Now then Nero's eye has too evolved to this state but he is no more. The eye would be wasted and its powers lost forever. He would've wanted me to give to someone I would see fit. So Gilgamesh, do you want to take this gift of Nero and possess the implant of a Mangekyou Sharingan eye?"

A faint warm feeling surged through the young boy when he realised that he now "officially" held some form of power. Second in command to an organization he had been inducted to.. perhaps there would be a few members he could command and use as his own personal slaves! Ah, that would certainly be fun.. His dream was slowly but surely becoming a reality. However, he was then asked if he'd like to possess the eye of the man's fallen brother, that was also the best trait that any of them carried; they were all burdened by hatred so they were only good for dying, no real cause like he was. A few thoughts ran through his mind, but in order to pursue even more power he could do with this addition to his strength. He nodded his head somewhat, "I will have the eye implanted.. Soon, we'll be seen as Kings."

"Haha Ah very good! Remember we kings that help and not just sit and let other serve us... So then let's proceed with this then..." Xuro would go to fetch a glass jar with water and would then go and sit beside the body of Nero. He would then pull out a kunai and gently, slowly proceeded to extract the mangekyou sharingan eye of his trusted comrade. Once he had removed the jounin's eye, Xuro would place it in the jar and seal it. "Now then Gilgamesh, To the Hospital!". Xuro stood and up and would walk to his house's front door, carrying the jar with the sharingan eye within, hoping Gilgamesh would follow....

Time out for a minute o-o  Why are you all claiming Nero has ms....?

Edit so this can go faster;

Read through it and I regret to inform you that the Sharingan does not work that way, before it gets brought up, we allowed something similar in the past but it was before everything was updated. Looking back at the manga, Obito and Kakashi both got MS but it was not due to them sharing eyes, it was due to the fact both of them were effected similarly by the same situation. Obito whom loved Rin watched her die, and Kakashi whom had a bond with her was forced to kill her. It was not the fact they both had eyes originating from Obito, it was the fact they both got trauma from the situation. So Nero whom was dead at the time Habee got his MS, will not be able to activate it since all the nerves and stuff that would keep the eye alive are dead so Idk how you can have a corpse get MS.

So yeah, a lot of this is going to be voided since Nero is only going to have the Sharingan he had at death, not a MS. You all can continue this topic normally if you just agree to discard anything about the ms and just say it was always three tomoe or w/e he had. Also there is to my knowledge, mettagaming by Habee in the beginning where he is claiming knowledge of the Sharingan eye changing to mangekyo, I would need to see how and why you know such about the Sharingan when your not an Uchiha.
