The Ghost - District [Team 4]

Task: A abandoned district of the village has begun to see some activity for some reason. At night people nearby the place have reported hearing loud noises and screaming coming from within the area, so it is your (or you and your teams) job to go in there at night and see if you find anything or if the citizens are just hearing things.

The Ghost - District

Samaruo was assigned to a C ranked mission, to help put a little money in his pocket. He sent a request to the Elders to assign him to as many missions as possible, mainly because he himself had a goal that needed to be meet. Lucky Samaruo was granted his request, and ever since last week, he had been doing missions left and right, night and day. He had to work hard for the money, or it never came easy, not did he expect it to be. The C ranked mission he was asked to do was some what simple, it was more of an investigation type, simply to see what had gotten the villagers scared of a certain abandoned district of the village. Reports said that the abandoned district was reported to show activity, in fact, the strange activity was that of loud noises, and such that could only be described as ghost. Samaruo laughed at the fact, but never paid no attention to it. Ghost? Samaruo wasn't much of a believer of the supernatural, though, what we ninja could do today, might make it not so unbelievable after all. However, he had planned to see if the ghost were really real with his own two eyes, these ghost. With that, Samaruo had set off from his post, making his way to the supposedly abandoned sector.

Samaruo, as usual, was dressed in his chuunin attire, his head band was fastened tight around his forehead, the ends short. His long jet black hair was in a pony tail, with his two side bangs hanging free which passed shoulder length, the pony tail reaching his mid back section. He was equipped with two weapons this time, Samaruo rarely did so but due to the many out village post he had, today was an exception. The first weapon he had was his favored Selene, with was incased in its black ivory sheath. The sword was strapped to the back of Samaruo's waist, the hilt end pointing to the right of Samaruo. The second weapon that he had, his heaven's tanto, was also sheathed, and placed on the back of Samaruo's waist. The hilt end was pointing towards the left side of him, making both weapons easy to access.

His leaps and steps across the village roof tops were of great speed, finally he arrived at the destination. There he stood, inches away from entering the abandoned district. From first glace all he saw was a slight grey haze that came from the sector, weird, how this could be since it was only the afternoon. He listened too see if there was any noise that could be heard, but none he heard. Samaruo then took his first steps into the district, only to feel a slight sense from behind him, a presence of another individual. This was due to Samaruo's highly developed Chakra senses, he obtained this from vigorous training. He would turn quickly to see a young women behind him, early 20s to be sure.

The woman looked at Samaruo with a concerned look, was she the one who requested this placed to be checked out, that was how missions were made, by request. she was dressed In normal cloths, cloths that normal villagers would wear. Samaruo sighed for a bit, he really needed to get this mission done, without any delays.

"Yes?", Samaruo asked, as he did not know this person. the women begged him not to got, through she did also warn him why. She spoke of ghost and ghouls that roamed the sector, but she surprisingly explained what the ghouls were. It had appeared to be that of a summoning jutsu that had gone wrong. How could someone summon the dead he wondered, he never heard of such things? "So it was a summoning jutsu, no matter, I'm on a mission to investigate this sector. But what you just presented to me, I must act quickly before these summonings get out of control." The women then let go, but said her finally words. "You must get rid of them, before the get out" Her words were fast as she finally made her way home, leaving Samaruo. Samaruo nodded, with him now turning back to the sector, walking deep with the sector, the shroud mist that existed in the day would hid his presence from the rest of the village, till he would leave.

While walking in the mist, he would activate his sharingan, to give him a more clearer view. His dark cola eyes would brighten with a dark red texture, and form three tomoe with in the pool of blood. His eyes gave him the sight he needed, to find these summonings. If they were indeed summonings, then they should give off a chakra signature, something that Samaruo should easily detect. He scanned his surrounding left and right, he even added focus to his chakra senses, to have the efforts strike if the ghost or ghouls would launch an assault. His steps would then come to a halt, a figure was in the distance. What surprised Samaruo was that eh didn't even sense it, he had to wait till it came within visual sight. Samaruo would get into a cautious stance, what now he thought. The figure would get closer and closer, Samaruo reached for his selene, with his right hand, his grip tight on the hilt, but didn't draw just yet, he waited. The ghost like figure would then emit a humming sound, what was it? This humming sound was not of a violent yell, it was actually very soothing. Samaruo grip loosened, was it really violent? Samaruo would watch as the intangible figure would pass right through him, leaving Samaruo unharmed. Then, the humming sound would come from all directions, hundreds, if not thousands of the ghost like figures would appear out of no where, just simply passing him by. "What is this?" Samaruo would continue to walk, with both his hands at his side, fighting was clearly not needed.

Samaruo then tried to figure out what to do, what should eh tell his superiors? These beings were obviously causes no ill harm to the villagers, it was just a humming noise, what of it. "Why have you come here", a voice that was heard from the distance, yet its form was unseen. Samaruo would look around with his eyes yet he could see nothing, only hear the godly like voice. "Who are you?", Samaruo asked, answering the question with yet another question. The ghostly presence responded, "We, are the Altairi, the gathered spirits of the past, and deceased". Samaruo would nod, but would ask them to kindly move else where, or bring the noise down to a minimum. He did not want them to leave, as if he could make them. The ghost then went silent, as did the soothing humming noise, that was easy he thought. Samaruo would make his way out of the sector, the problem was appeared to be solved.

When Samaruo made it out of the sector, the sky then returned to its bright sunny mood, as dud the women that eh met earlier. She asked if he had taken care of the problem, the ghost. Samaruo would nod, and nod only. There was no way he could destroy a presence like that, nor would he want too. With that, Samaruo would return to his superiors, readying himself to explain what had happened on the mission in true detail, he guessed ghost really did exist. He wondered how could villagers get made over a soothing noise like that, the humming really brought peace within Samaruo, perhaps he would visit the place more often, when ever he was down. Samaruo looked back towards the direction of the sector before he would set off to his superiors, what a sector he thought, "What a mission."
