Back to Suna
Sat Sep 14, 2013 4:27 pm
Keiji sat at his campfire on the kumogakure borders. He still couldn’t remember Yaju’s face… Huh. No matter how hard he tried, he just could not find it in his memory… Was there something wrong with him? He hammered the ground with his fist, muttering in anger. Still trying to remember it, he slapped his forehead with his hand… and heard a clink… He felt his forehead. There was something metallic there! He quickly pulled it off his head, and saw the symbol on it… It was a Sunagakure Headband, the village hidden in the sand. Why had he been wearing this? He just stared at it. Was he from Suna? Or had he taken it off somebody? No, it was hardly scratched, and it looked brand new. If he’d gotten it from a fight, it would be smudged with dirt, scratched, or something. That meant… He was from suna? He had just forgotten Yaju’s face… Well, he was free to do as he pleased now… Maybe he could pay a visit to sunagakure. See if anyone recognized him. Or see if he recognized anything there. He stood up, getting rid of his camp, leaving no trace that he was there, and then heading out towards the road. Deciding he wanted to make this trip into a training session, he began moving as fast as he could, jumping up into a tree and hopping across the branches, heading towards the road as fast as his legs could carry him. Moving at top speed, he would cruise through the tree line, wondering how he’d get to hidden sand. He supposed he could just follow the road signs… That could work. As soon as the thought entered his mind, he reached the road. He jumped out of the tree, beginning to walk down the road, looking for a road sign. About a quarter mile away, he could see one in the distance. He quickly dashed for it, moving as fast as he could, Stopping as he reached the sign. He read down the list of words…
“Tengakure, Konohagakure, Funagakure, Iwagakure, Hmm…. There it is! Sunagakure!” He said, reading down the list. He turned and began dashing down the path in the direction of Sunagakure. He had a long journey ahead of him. He slowed down a bit t a walk, realizing this was not a very good distance to run. He pulled neko off his back, shooting chakra threads into him and making him walk alongside him. The puppet was sort of… broken, but nothing he couldn’t fix in due time. He wondered for a moment why exactly Yaju had gotten rid of him. And what became of their new… “Maid”… Was she his replacement? No! The very thought was absurd. He just wanted Keiji to learn how to take care of himself, that was it… while finding someone to take care of him at the same time… how hypocritical. Eh, Oh well. Kei began to sing quietly to himself, finding that was a good way to pass the time.
